Recent Review: I had a steam humidifier installed on my furnace .I have no water softener. Paul originally installed a electronic  water purifier to the pipes to isolate the impurities but this failed. My humidifier required cleaning every3-4 weeks which PAul graciously did. Finally This summer he recommended an ion exchanger and this was installed . This has resolved the problem.

Recent Review: I contacted several companies and finally chose Rogers Company.  They have previously serviced my furnace and air conditioner.  They were very price competitive.  Always on time, fixed many unforeseen problems. Explained all of their work.  Great work crew.  Will continue to use them.

Recent Review: Kevin worked with me and provided the information needed for me to choose the right system to replace my old heating and A/C units. He provided multiple quotes until I was satisfied with the units selected. The installation team arrived as we had scheduled and it took 2 1/2 days to complete. The installation was more difficult because the furnace was installed in linen closet (with crawl space below) where the old furnace was. The new furnace was an gas furnace replacing an electric furnace and additional plumbing/electrical services was needed. All in all, I was satisfied with the furnace, A/C unit, humidifier and thermostat selection and installation. I was recommend Jay's to any one who asks.

Recent Review: Ken Dean, sole proprietor, worked on these two issues. He turned on the fireplace and tested emissions. There were no problems with the emissions. To improve the humidity in the house, he examined the humidifier, explained that the valves often go bad, suggested periodic replacement of the evaporation pad, and turned up the water flow from a saddle valve feed. His work was good quality, however, I feel that he overcharged me for this service: $250. This is the second time I have used his services, and also the second time, the exactly the same. Good service (I did not have anything that was rocket science) , but poor pricing scheme. I believe he would have done better with a more reasonable fee structure. I will not be using his services again. I do NOT recommend his services based on his atrocious billing practices.

Recent Review: My furnace decided to die in the midst of the coolest winter im memory. I called Ebert's to have a look. Not only did i get on the schedule for a tech to come, but since it was a heating emergency for me They got one to me the very same morning i called. The tech looked it over and explained what had happened and made some suggestions about how to handle the problem. Mr. Eberts came and inspected the furnace and priced a couple of options. After i made some other calls and did due diligence and choose Eberts do install the new furnace. They arrived on schedule and had the new machine completely installed and running within hours. The men stayed long enough after to be sure everything was correct and wouldnt be causing me anymore trouble for years to come, I was happy they gave me ALL the facts about Everything related to the furnace install operation and the add on humidifier i decided to add.. Not everything has to do with the hardware a LOT has to do with the people. Great Team they have there. Glad i went with them.

Recent Review: Overall, it’s dissatisfying because I am going to have to pay extra for all of these extra jobs, when all of these parts in reality, are part of the furnace. I thought I could trust this service!

Recent Review: it went very well.  I had to upgrade to the larger unit due to my square footage but I paid less than $200 more than I paid for a smaller unit installed about 8-9 years ago.  The tech who installed the unit was very personable, did a great job with the installation.

Well it started off bad and got worse.First the people that came out were not involve with estimate which was bad because they had no idea what was said to be done .We told them remodeling the entire house. second they were told from the beginning that we wanted the registrars in the wall or base board! the installers told me it was impose able to do !Here starts the problem I'm made the mistake of going with the so-called experts! what do I know ? My wife says it can be done these are 6" walls ! but honey the experts say it is not possible . we argue about this . She was right ! first cue the inconsistency in what they said when they came back to do my addition registrars which would be in a 4" wall? I ask myself why can it be done in a 4" wall and not a 6" ? Does not make sense. so they came back out to install the registrars in addition. There was no call ahead to say they were coming they just showed up! I had 2 other contractors there , good thing too as there were good witness to what was next! the 2 rogers boys spent a 1/2 hour figuring out were and how to put in because of the electrical box above. They were in the basement saw the situation .The one young man goes to saw a hole in the floor with a sawsal with out drilling a pilot hole First.I was talking to the other contractor when this gets my attention . I ask if he was going to drill a pilot hole first ? His reply I don't need to! (when you drill a pilot hole it gives you control of hole size and reduces damage out side the lines). so what happens he cuts the electric line ! "Oh I just skinned the ground wire no big deal you won't see it once i put the metal duct against it!" I told him to stop, just pick up your stuff and get out. I could see down the hole that more than just the ground was stripped. so did the other contractors. I did not fire them because of the mistake ,but because of the intent to conceal. It could of burnt down the house! Went looking for his associate . no were to be found. finally found him outside no where near were the work was? In formed him what went down. They left. 3 days past no one from Rogers called to question Why. I finial y decides to call they could do nothing wrong! Filed complaints with AG's office BBB, furnace supplier Famous Supply ). When Rogers got the complaint form the AG's office they decided to talk to me with the supplier I allowed them to come inspect what they did as I was having problems with the furnace .Not only was the Installer incompetent but so was his supplier or covering him ! Because after they left I got a second opinion. The new contractor weren't but 5mins. and saw that only the low end of my 2 stage furnace was hooked up ! cause the thermostat was for a single sage furnace and they would have had to run more wires to hook up the the second stage because there weren't enough ! So in a nut shell did not install metal duct work or dampers ,only put in 4 registrars out of 14 registrars one's they did install where out of square (crooked), did not put the correct theromstat in, tried to burn down my house. Did not even call to see why they were fired! suppose to be a 3 day job turned into 10 days and I still had to hire some to fix and finish there work. I am thinking

AFurnace Guys
This is the most professional small business you could ever hire. They don't try to sway you to buy things you don't need and are honest, on time and cleaned up after themselves( better than I've done on my own house, my wife tried to hire them to finish cleaning the whole house. LOL. You must use these guys and just ask for Mike, the owner, to get you the most for your money and I promise he will. These are great guys. Recommend to everyone, even my own mother!!!!!!Whew!!! That says a lot! And they service all of central Ohio. Can't say enough for them, they are the best. P.s: They work on everything just call and ask.
