Recent Review: Jack was very responsive and took the time to answer my many questions. No high pressure sales pitch. All options were explained clearly. Jack and the install team arrived on time and provided top notch service. Excellent service at a fair price. I will definitely recommend Salmons to my family and friends. Very pleased.
Recent Review: Everyone at Gahanna Heating and Cooling is very professional. They diagnosed the problems associated with a 25-year old furnace and nearly 20-year old air conditioner that was no longer working. They then installed a new furnace and air conditioner at a reasonable price. Everything went smoothly, and we are very happy with the results.
Recent Review: We have used them for 17 years. Ever since we've moved here they've been doing our furnace and air conditioner. We always have the in the spring and the fall. They do a thorough job of cleaning our air conditioner and our furnace. They make sure our filters are always ready to go. It works great. They are hour for about 1- 1 1/2 hours or 2.

Recent Review: I could not be happier with their service. My 18 year old air conditioner died over Friday night on a weekend that was supposed to get up in the mid-90s. I called for service in the am on Saturday. I figured with the heat wave, I'd be lucky to have air conditioning by Thursday. By shortly after 11 am on Sunday, they had the new air conditioner in. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I'm not sure how they compare price-wise. I paid $4,939 for a SEER 14 Energy Star rated unit for a 1300 sq ft 2 story house with very old, energy inefficient windows. I forget whether it was a Carrier or a Trane unit, but it was one of those reputable brands. The cost is with a 10% discount for being a repeat customer. Considering that I bought the previous unit from them, and it outlasted the expected 12-15 year lifespan by quite a bit, I know the quality is good. I have also had them install 2 furnaces over the past 18 years and have a service membership with them. Every time I have dealt with them, the service has been excellent
WHEN AC WAS FIRST INSTALLED, IT HAD A LEAK AND THEY HAD TO COME BACK. LAST WINTER, FIXED PROBLEM WITH PILOT LIGHT ON FURNACE. TOOK MULTIPLE PEOPLE TO CORRECTLY DIAGNOSE PROBLEM WITH FURNACE THIS PAST WINTER.

FAirmax Heating And Cooling
I have a home warranty that sent this company to repair my AC. It took them a week and two visits to diagnose the problem (bad compressor), and then technician was blaming electrical problems for compressor failure in the report sent to home warranty company, which was not correct. That incorrect diagnosis delayed my service for another 2 weeks since home warranty company had to send another company for a second opinion. Second company didn't find any electrical problems, since there was no electrical problem, and is in the process of replacing compressor. I think part of the blame is on Home warranty company, who does not do a good job on evaluating contractors, but lack of experience can cause additional pain and delays for homeowners. Customer service (except Jessica) very rude, and hanged up when called to inquire about the status. I would not hire this company again. Check BBB review as well.

We had their Technician - Matt Losco - out to review and recommend a replacement central air conditioning unit. He was exceptionally professional, cordial, informative and non-condescending. Bottom line - he did a great job explaining what was needed, why and options available. When he did not know an answer, he called and got it immediately from his office. Their office even suggested an alternate for us. We have had several other firms' techs and sales people here to discuss our AC needs, but he was by far the best. If I could give him a better rating I would but the 5 Stars are my only option. We sincerely appreciate this man and his company. "LT"

ACustom Air Conditioning & Heating
I wanted to share my great experience with Custom Air. My 13 year old AC was dying a slow death this summer, so I decided to replace it... and MAN am I glad I did! I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to these kinds of things. I got several quotes, asked a lot of questions, did a ton of research, and throughout the entire process Custom Air stayed head and shoulders above the pack. Dave Wuelfing came out, gave me the best price up front (and ended up being the best quote too), put up with all of my questions, never pressured me, was very responsive, and even put up with me changing my mind at the last minute on which model I wanted. Robert Kendrick and Jake Riley were prompt, professional, and did a great, TIDY install (that's key - some places are sloppy!). Custom Air handled all of the city inspection paperwork, and even helped me with my Energy Savings rebate paperwork. It actually ended up being an enjoyable experience for something I don't generally enjoy (having to replace stuff around the house). I can't recommend these guys enough!

Norman was able to come the day after I called even though we were in the middle of a heat wave. I was told he would arrive between 9 am and noon; he showed up at 9:15 am. He was friendly and efficient.

Very nice when I called to set up the appt. Came as scheduled and preformed the test and service they advertised. Also, they gave my husband tips to care for the central air at the end of the season.

I CALLED MIKE FOR A SECOND OPINION REGARDING MY NON OPERATIONAL A/C. HE MET WITH ME THE AFTERNOON I CALLED, WAS PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. HE PRESENTED INFORMATION SO THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND IT, AND WITHOUT PRESSURE TO BUY FROM HIM. I CHOSE CARE BECAUSE I FELT I WAS GETTING MORE FOR MY MONEY. THE PRICE WAS ALMOST $2000 LESS THAN ANOTHER COMPANY I HAD CONSULTED. THE EQUIPMENT WAS A FAMILIAR NAME BRAND (LENNOX). THE NEW UNIT WAS INSTALLED ON THE DAY AND TIME PROMISED. THE INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN WAS PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT AND THERE WAS NO MESS LEFT BEHIND. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY FRIENDS, AND WILL HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR ANY FUTURE NEEDS.
