Recent Review: VERY NICE, DID A GREAT JOB. I'M A NEW POOL OWNER AND WAS STRUGGLING. ONLY COMPLAINT WAS TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO CALL YOU TO SCHEDULE THE VISIT. THEY CALLED ONE MORNING WHEN THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY
Recent Review: They were professional at selling us the pool and installing it. They tried very hard no to tear up the back yard while installing the pool and they did an awesome job at fixing the yard after it was installed. They even went over every detail about how to operate the pool before they left for the day. It only took one day for them to get everything completed.

Recent Review: We found Water's Edge by accident after having obtained quotes from other contractors in Columbus. The owner of the company provided a quote that was lower than any other we had obtained. The owner also had more knowledge about the specifics of building pools, the construction, engineering, timing, coordination other contractors etc. He had more hands on knowledge than any of the other sales reps we had spoken to. We later found out that he knew so much because he actually builds the pools with his crew, down in the hole applying vermiculite to the bottom, helping install the liner etc. The fellas who work for Water's Edge were courteous, friendly and generally pleasant. There were no hidden costs or surprises and the pool turned out better than we imagined. Since our build, only a few minor things have come up: the vinyl pulled away from the corner of the pool, the electronic board inside the heater failed and there was a small leak near one of the filters. In each case, the company took care of the issue immediately and to our satisfaction. The owner, Steve Ramsey also coordinated the work of other contractors so I only had "one neck to choke". We built a 20 X 40 vinyl liner pool with deck jets, an auto-cover (which is amazing) and a propane heater. We couldn't be happier with the pool and the service we receive from Water's Edge.

Recent Review: Overall experience was good. If I had to do it over again I would paint in the fall instead of the spring. In the fall a problem came to light. Wrong type of screws had been used to secure a plastic cover over the two inlet jets. (2 plastic covers). They did not fit, this resulted in one or two of them coming out. Also, they were not stainless steel so they rusted, created rust stains around the floor of the pool by the inland jets. I called the company and explained what had happened. They said that they would repair it in the spring, cleaning up the stain and replacing screws.
Contracted with Commercial Pools and had good communication throughout project. All details were attended to by contractors. Special requests to install pool mosaics and jump rock were accomodated and well executed. Work was done constantly but the project did take some time.

DAVE BARROW OWNS AND OPERATES SWIMMING POOL SERVICES. HE CAME OUT TO INSPECT MY DAMAGED POOL THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER MY CALL. MY 16'X32' IN-GROUND POOL HAD DAMAGED COPING AROUND THE POOL AND NEEDED A NEW LINER. THE EXISTING COPING HAD TO BE REMOVED BEFORE MOUNTING NEW COPING TO INSTALL THE NEW LINER. DAVE AND HIS CREW WERE PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY MADE SURE THE JOB WAS DONE TO MY SATISFACTION. THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE AND REASONABLE.

Matt and his crew were extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. During the installation Matt identified several problems with the pool floor, the previous liner and even our pool lights. I found Matt to be very conscientious and his attention to detail was awesome. The liner looks beautiful. I recommend Matt without reservation for all of your inground swimming pool needs.

Kash installed a concrete pool with plaster, tile, covered lights, a heater, an automation system, and automatic cover. Two of my neighbors had pools put in and it took over 9 months and they aren't as elaborate as mine. My pool only took 3 months! Best part is the hot tub he installed that's inside the pool. Can't wait to have friends over!

Everything went well. This is the first year we did not close the pool ourselves. We were not home when they did the work but everything was done to our satisfaction and we plan on having them open our pool next season.

If you want missed appointments, Fraudulent billing practices, and humiliation--use these guys.

FAngles Custom Pools
We hired Mark in March 2017. Signed a contract and paid $12,000 in advance. Mark was to obtain the permits, provide all of the drawings and schedules. The build was to meet all of the local codes and the customer expectations. I reached out several times to Mark to request the drawings, permits, schedule and his licensing and bonding information. It wasn't until May that he responded that everything was on schedule for Mid June. We landed on June 19 and were told that the project would be finished by July 8. I took 2 weeks off work to monitor the build. Mark did not show up until July 3rd and spray painted the pool area in the grass. Fortunately my wife sketched the pool because Mark miss marked the pool area and he would not have had enough materials to finish the project. Mark did not show back up to the property until July 10. He said that he had to make some repairs to his last pool. There was an issue with an underground spring. I asked Mark for a copy of the schedule, drawings, permits etc. He countinued to procrastinate. Mark assured me he had a blanket permit that allowed him to complete all the work on property. He went in to detail about the permit. Mark finally started the project July 10 when I was on a 2 week business trip. I came back and it appeared that Mark was actually going to build the pool. He dug the base of the pool. I had to watch YouTube videos to understand what to expect from the build. Mark had originally promised to walk us through the entire process. Soon after the dig, Mark stopped working on a routine basis. I had to check on him daily to understand the plan and the build schedule. This project was supposed take approx 2 weeks. I soon discovered that there was no plan or schedule. July moved in to August with little to no progress. I mention to Mark he had a poor review on the BBB that had me concerned. The person mentioned that Mark was unable to pay his associates and shorted materials on the footer causing the stairs to float. Mark lost his temper and replied back in text using the F-bomb. Later he called and apologized. Mark continued to struggle with his manpower. He eventually installed the side walls and footer (very shallow footer) Approx a week later on a Wednesday Mark left the property for chest pains. We did not hear back from him until Monday. We reached out several times to see if he was ok. It wasn't until Monday when we asked if we needed to find another contractor that he responded. He said he would finish the project. He gave a rough schedule and asked for the next installment of $12000. I told him that I was not comfortable paying the next lump sum not knowing if he could finish the project. I provided him an alternative payment schedule after consulting my attorney. I told him I would pay after each item on the schedule was complete. However, I wanted the permits posted and his licensing and binding information. Mark agreed to the payment schedule. I made another payment of $3500 for running the plumbing and wiring and the salt generator etc. after the payment Mark completed half the work and then quickly fell off schedule. I became more concerned about the project wanted to have another pool builders opinion on the build. I received feed back from two pool builders. One retired and one on Angie's list. I received the same concerning feed back from both. The active pool builder advised I should check with the inspector to address my concern. I called the inspector to bring up some of the construction concerns. I discovered that no permits has been filed. A stop work note was placed on the property. At this point we are working with the Township zoning, Health Dept, and County to understand if we can use the pool or if we will need to remove it, move it, etc. Marks response was that we would be ahead if we started working with another pool builder. He replies that he thought he applied for the permits. We are very frustrated. He was listed a A+ on the BBB. It appears his licensing expired March 2017. I have not found current information on it. Researching construction sites indicates Mark Completed 1 pool last year. He said he booked 8 this summer. Some research shows he used to work for Poseidon Pools prior to starting his own company. Buyer beware. Update: We finished the pool ourselves contracting out the vermiculite, concrete and fence install.

There is another company that I use more often now, but they were fine, and I would recommend them to others. The only problem I had was to get someone to call back. I probably would use them again in the future.
