Where to begin? Well, anyone who has ever had a bedbug problem knows all to well both the frustration and embarrassment of having to acknowledge such an issue. Unfortunately turned out we had a problem for a while because my kids told me (after bugs had migrated to my bed room) that they detected issues in our finished basement months before. In spite of several family members suggesting we call one of the national name-brand extermination companies, I did my Angie's research as I always do when looking for a contractor. I came upon excellent ratings and comments for Integrity so I contacted Art and he responded very timely and came out to explain everything to us before we signed anything. Its important to know here that Art and his team (who it turns out are all family members) are not just vendors. They're professionals who not only want to address the issue but also make certain their customers understand the why/how, etc. So first order of business was a thorough discussion on how bedbugs get into your home, how they thrive, best way to treat so problem is completely eliminated, and proper after-treatment approach to avoid a re-occurrence. We knew from that meeting Art was the vendor for us. Art then did a complete walk through the home looking in every room, closet, cabinet, area, explaining what needed to be done to prepare the home for the treatment, etc. We scheduled the service call for a week out and needed every bit of those 7 days to set the home up for the best success (amazing how much clutter can be accumulated in 10 years time). Our prep time was probably worse because rather than throw so many rarely used/unused yet functional items away (including some brand new clothes still in original packaging/with labels still in tact), we decided to wash and dry so we could donate to charity (although we still threw out garbage bags full of clothes). For the still packaged new items we ventured to several laundromats to use their dryers since those items did not need to be washed, just heat treated just in case. Unfortunately we were turned away at 3 different locations if we weren't washing also (we assumed with Columbus area being the bedbug capital of the world, word is out to make sure laundromats don't get infested). So that development made the prep work more lengthy because we wanted people in need to benefit from what we no longer wanted, and didn't want to throw new items away. Long story short, Integrity delivered on everything they promised and did an excellent job throughout. We would absolutely use them again (but sure hope we won't need to), and I do not hesitate to encourage you to reach out to them and talk to Art. He'll restore your confidence and help you understand dealing with a bed bug issue isn't a matter of personal hygiene, AND he'll help you understand how real the exposure is here in the Columbus area no matter how diligently your house cleaning habits are. Integrity is one of the best kept secrets in the industry and kudos to Art and his team for actually being comfortable with anonymity when they could just as easily have their name plastered all over their trucks and equipment. Their presence on your property doesn't appear to be anything more than a vendor doing some water treatment work/damage repair. Sorry for length of my comment, but I sincerely believe its critically important for anyone dealing with a bed bug infestation to understand how important it is to engage more than a spray and kill approach. Integrity isn't national, they aren't the largest, and they don't do a squirt and run treatment. They care for your home like it was their own and that makes them the best in my book (by a long shot). We're very content customers and happy homeowners again these days.
