Recent Review: We are happy with the results but encountered a few snags. We are now very happy with our master shower that has a fiberglass surround. We enjoy the new light that changes color and the upgraded fan. The main bathroom is very pretty and practical for our 2 children and guests. We had a scare when the tub arrived and it was the wrong direction- we were told the tub was special ordered. We had waited 3 months for it (on backorder) and it was in storage for 2 more after that (? as the wrong tub) We were told it would be 3 months until they could locate the right tub and our main bathroom was demoed. They discussed changing the plumbing to match and that was not a good plan as it would need to be moved but Dale somehow located a new "right" tub in within the week. The 2 main guys Dale and Dave were great. VERY conscientious. They apologized for the tub. Not so great was the plumber who cut our floor that was not part of the reno. But Dale rectified that with a seal by the shower. The same plumber that cut the floor wanted to cut into our cedar closet for the plumbing. A new guy showed up the next day and seemed more competent. He did not need to cut our closet. We only saw the owner once when he came for the estimate. We expected more hands on as he seemed on top of it with the estimate. His assistant said he had been over many times but we never saw him at our house. We do not know if he saw the cut floor. He did not locate the new tub. Dale said he did. We provided the vanity for the bathroom extra to the 15,000 from Lumberjacks as well as light fixture and painting. It is now nearly 1 year and holding up very well. We enjoy it everyday

Recent Review: Very quick response for quote. Had an opening between jobs and scheduled. Had a complete demolition of bathroom. Bathtub and walls to the studs. Had water damage wall studs replaced/reinforced. Drain that was completely damaged replaced after a section of slab removed to good sewer line. Raised Tub area soffit to match existing ceiling contour. Poured concrete shower pan and curb for walk-in shower. Removed old wall tile from entire bathroom and existing wallpaper. Installed wainscoting for entire room and refurbished walls to paint. Installed new double vanity, shower doors, toilet and towel accessories. Installed bathroom fan with new roof vent. Beautiful job on shower tile, shower pan and travertine tile floor. Great attention to detail. PJ and Dan are on my list for Highly Recommended. Attached before and after pictures.
Recent Review: Dave's team came to two houses on three separate days to perform the following: replace shower door, install new trim in basement, replace 25 door knobs and locksets, fixing exterior trim, remove grab bars, and install fire alarms. The most important job was waterproofing above a sliding door jamb to keep water entering during heavy rain. The team worked quickly and effectively.
Recent Review: Started out great. Jarrod was enthusiastic, professional, and eager to get the job done. He does good quality work but where he fails is in problem solving when things start to go wrong and professionalism in reviewing changes that need to be made along the way with the owner. I'm not a contractor, but if I were, and I saw that the toilet drain was 16 in. away from the wall when the standard is 12. I would review this with owner and move it to proper length before doing anything else. I'd review this as well as any addition costs needed to do it right. Jarrod, did not do this, he simply put it back right where it was and now I have a toilet literally sitting in the middle of a small bathroom. Before the shower it must have not been noticeable or a problem. But now that the new shower is installed it is way to close to shower and way to far way from wall. The show took over 2 weeks to come in and then when it did apparently it was the wrong size that he framed for. Again, Jarrod did not review any of this with me. He simply, shimmed pieces of wood to accommodate the wrong sized shower, and then even cut the trim pieces with a hack saw leaving the rough edges exposed. So now, the sliding shower door does not open fully. The shower was to be 42" and it is only 38" so, he basically made a 42in. door fit his 38in. rough opening. Leaving, a smaller open area to get into the shower. 4in. That is a big deal being in such a small space. And remember, the toilet is right in the way as well. So, I Paid Trim and Beyond over $4,000 for a shower I can barely fit into, and a toilet that Is sitting way to far away from wall. Reason I am so frustrated with Jarrod and his company is because this is literally the first time I ever hired someone to do a project. I normally do them myself. But due to moving in to this new house and time, I thought I give him a try since he got good referral from the previous owner. Jarrod NEVER discussed any of these problems or asked for my input. He simply kept saying everything is going fine. Where he should have stopped ask me what to do and then proceed in a manner to do the job right, not just to get it done. When discussing these problems after the job was complete. Jarrod initially was very receptive and accepting that changes need and can be made. He even stated he will do them at no cost. I was thinking everything would turn out fine. Then he stopped all communications with me. And to this day he has not even bothered to return my multiple phone calls to try to resolve the problem. So, if you Hire Trim and Beyond LLC. - or Jarrod Pierce - DO NOT PAY HIM 100% of job until you have fully checked and approved everything. Because if there is a problem. He will not return.

Recent Review: Sent us to the right people for fixture and tile selection. Colors coordinated beautifully. Tear out of old bathroom carried away and cleanup after work each day. Workmen did an excellent job on plumbing, tile work and painting. The new shower door was a real plus.
Recent Review: We were impressed by the professionalism of everyone at JR Luxury Bath.  We visited their showroom on a Sunday afternoon because I wanted to see what products they had to offer.  They had several bathrooms set up in their showroom.  They were getting ready for the Home and Garden Show in Cleveland, but Ken was eager to answer any questions we had.  We scheduled an appointment for an estimate that same week.  Eric Weddell came to our house and went over exactly what we were looking for in our bathroom remodel.  He gave us great ideas and even picked out a vinyl flooring tile that PERFECTLY matched our new shower surround (we found out later when we went to their supplier to look at the tile).  Our old bathroom had stained wood wainscoting on one wall of the bathroom  Part of the wainscoting had been eaten away by leakage from the old bathtub.  Eric said he thought he could get a wainscoting that they could stain to match our vanity and cabinet that we were keeping.  JR Luxury Bath told us it would be about 3 weeks until they could start our bathroom.  They came out even earlier than they had originally quoted us.  Prior to the start of the job, Ken Michael came out to the house to bring a piece of wood trim they had stained to match our current stain.  It was not a great match, so they found another stain that matched perfectly.  I had complete confidence in JR Luxury Bath from start to finish of this job.  They aim to please their customers and are extremely pleasant to work with. Ken Michael was our installer.  He was very meticulous at his work and cleaned up every evening after he completed the work. We are extremely happy with the results of our beautiful new bathroom. Ken went over how to clean and keep our new shower looking great.  This is the second contractor I've hired off of Angie's List and I've been pleased with both contractors.  I would highly recommend JR Luxury Bath to anyone looking to remodel their bathroom.

Reviews in North Olmsted for Installing Shower Doors

They removed a bathtub, did the walls with new lining, put in a new shower door and shower floor. It was a conversion from a bathtub to a shower. The experience was very good. They were good and professional. They did everything on time and answered all the questions. We will use them in the future.

He was on time. He was very professional, nice looking man but his prices were ridiculous. They will have to remove my but, remove the vanity cabinet, the medicine cabinet and reset the toilet and he would install like a new tub plus put the shower on the wall and new shower doors and the floor and faucets. I think that was kind of expensive.

FMr. Handyman of Cleveland's Northwest Suburbs
STOP! Beware! Don t let their ad confuse you! Mr. Handyman was hired to install a shower door in a brand new bathroom. While they were on the job we added the tissue holder and towel bar. We contacted Mr. Handyman because the door was leaking. They sent out a tech to assess the problem & sealed where the thought the leak was. Needless to say it was still leaking after use of the shower. This went on for many days and many visits for Mr. Handyman to attempt to correct this problem. Michael Fay (owner) had us convinced we purchased a defective door. We went to a supply store and found Mr. Handyman installed the door incorrectly. The technician did not use all the hardware and cut the bottom track too short (see picture). After 30 days of not getting positive results working with Mr. Handyman, door still leaking, hardware still missing, mess every time they are back to assess the problem using my tools, I requested a full refund. Another 30 days pass with numerous request for a refund, Michael refuses the refund and wants to continue to come back to stop the leak. I felt after 60 days of no results a refund was not asking too much. Michael hired an attorney and sent a settlement agreement and release in the amount of $180. We accepted just so we could put an end to this nonsense. Mr. Handyman is not capable of installing a shower door. Mr. Handyman charged us $125 to install a tissue holder and towel bar. For all the inconvenience, damage to the walls, adjusting working schedules if any charge at all due should have been the $78 for the first hour per his business description. Perhaps Michael is saying it took Mr. Handyman over an hour to install a tissue holder and towel bar.

In went very well. Rob the owner listened to what I wanted done and he supplemented my ideas with some of his own. The technician, scott, was very knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. It was a very good experience. I would highly recommend Big Bear Remodeling. I found them on an online site and am glad I did.

Brent, the owner, first came out to do an estimate. He was very professional and advised on the best way to do the job. Since we were also getting the shower pan refinished, we had to coordinate his work with the shower pan refinisher. The first step was to get the old shower doors removed and the old caulk taken off. Brent had one of his men come out to do this so that it would be done when the shower pan refinisher came. Then he had men come back on a timely basis to install the new shower doors. They also replaced a cultured marble sink and countertop and a drop in sink. They were careful not to get stains on the carpeting on the stairs and the bedroom. They worked very carefully and professionally and cleaned up after themselves. They did an excellent job.
