Recent Review: We first met Stan when he was working for a contractor that was fixing our home. When we were having a problem with our lights upstairs we called him. Even though he did not work up stairs he came and fixed it free of charge and this was a year later.

Recent Review: Custom Touch did a wonderful job on both projects. The work was completed quickly and accurately. The workers were very easy to talk to and consious of the cleaniness of their work area, which was appreciated. Drop clothes were laid and clean up was done every day. They never left a mess at the end of the day. All of the work was completed as promised and they went above and beyond to meet our needs. From the very beginning, suggestions were made from the experienced contractor that really helped make my thoughts come full circle. The overall experience that I had with this company was wonderful.

Recent Review: The overall performance was great.  The Kitchen turned out great and the mud room is now functional.  The whole process took two months to complete.  This included a three week wait between measuring the counter top and cutting/installing the counter top.  Handy Hubby did not install nor is responsible for the counter top.  During the demolition the carpenter (Jack)  discovered the kitchen floor was unlevel as a result levels of DIY basement renovations that damaged the structural integrity of the floor.  Jack secured the floor and leveled the floor.  We put 12" tile on the kitchen floor.  At first I thought it was laminate since the grout work was nearly perfect.   The walls in the Kitchen and Dinning room were crumbling plaster and replaced with drywall.  The job was well done and now I am considering redoing the rest of the house.   The cabinetry and back splash were ordered through Lowes and installed by Jack.  Jack did a great job with both.  He also has an ability to talk in non-technical terms to explain what he is doing and recommendations on the two dozen small decisions a homeowner needs make and have not thought of. Jack also built a custom railing and safety gate on our stairs.  The previous railing was structural unsound and I nearly went through it, yet alone my 2 year old. John (Handy Hubby owner) helped me design a new railing with a safety gate.  I know feel secure with a young child in the house.  The new railing looks as if it is original to the house. I will use Handy Hubby again.

Recent Review: Dennis and Ron are extremely talented craftsmen who exhibit the highest quality of workmanship. They do not cut corners in any fashion and don't ask them to! They construct your project as if they are building for themselves. Their attention and thought to detail is unparalleled. This building had been vacant for several years and the last and quot;so calledand quot; improvements were in the 1980's. The project was a complete renovation from floor joists to sill plates, from brick walls to finished interior walls. They assisted in sub- contractor selection and floor plan design. They were extremely professional, worked thru winter conditions, arrived on time, picked up necessary materials as needed, oversaw sub-contractors work and protected the integrity of the jobsite. My goal was to maintain the historic dignity of thebuilding on the exterior and stairway areas, but add modern flair to the interior of the apartments. The endeavor was a success. One of my favorite aspects of the project was the interior stairway area. They removed all the paneling and crumbling plaster to reveal the original brick walls. Much of the original woodwork then had to be replaced. They meticulously cut and matched the new woodwork to the old and were able to maintain the period look of the window and door frames, staircase trim and moulding. Loved it! They went above and beyond in sealing up the attic/roof areas from weather and critters and vented and insulated the same. I cannot recommend anyone more highly. If you are looking for meticulous construction, honesty and integrity hire Duvall Homes.
