Recent Review: Overall, Day's appliances did a great job with the washer at my rental. Previously, they fixed a leak in my gas stove, which never had issues afterwards. The most impressive part of their service was the flexible scheduling and punctuality. Fortunately, I was able to get an appointment the same day that I called and within a couple of hours the issue was resolved. The technician and customer service personnel was very friendly and professional. Also, since this is a rental, the technician made sure to call me before actually fixing the issue to ensure I understood what the problem was and whether the repair was the best approach as opposed to upgrading.
Recent Review: .They are very thorough. Its a gas range it was the burner was not firing. The good thing was I told Capital about it they sent a whole unit so the guy could fix it and he wouldn't have to wait for parts. The guy found out what was wrong and instead of just fixing the one little part he changed the whole thing and that way it wouldn't happen again. He also checked over the whole stove to make sure it was all ok. He kept checking everything to make sure the stove was good. It was a job that could have only taken 15 minutes but he was here for over an hour very thorough. He was great.
This was a real disappointment. The repairman missed both times scheduled for the repair and didn't call me to tell me he wasn't coming, which means I unnecessarily lost several hours of work time and time needed for other obligations. A week after my oven stopped working, I still don't have a repair. Both times, when I called to find out where the repair person was, the person answering the phone didn't apologize and didn't act like it was a problem.

ARippe Brothers Appliance Repair
All the burners and switches on the stove were checked over. Ended up replacing one of the switches, so that burner would light. Discovered that fan was suppose to automatically come on when the left burners were lit, which they had never done in the 6+ years we've lived in current home. We opted not to repair those switches and just repair the burner that was inoperable.

Setting up the initial appt. went well. The technician was polite and diagnosed the problem quickly. We set up an appt. for the following day between 4 PM and 7 PM to replace the igniter. At 6:40 PM the following evening they called both my home and cell phone #. I was unable to answer the phone at that time, and did not get the message until after 7 PM. I returned the call on both the cell phone and company # 3 times over the next 2 days and never contacted anyone or had anyone return my calls. I left messages each time. I have decided to move on to another repair comapny.

Used their website to order a new burner for gas stove. Ordered it on Sunday and had it on Tuesday -- remarkably quick shipping. While they did not actually install the part, the instructions they gave were easy & accurate making the repair virtually painless for us. The ability to purchase just the part saved us a service call (likely $100+) so we were very happy. The ability to find exactly what we needed on their website was also an easy process. Plus the fact that they had the lowest price for this simple part. I would definitely search their site again if/when we need appliance parts in the future.

it went very well-was lucky that the tech was able to bring the right part with him from my description of the problem over the phone. they were prompt and nice and friendly. my only issue was that a new stove would not cost that much more than i spent-i chose convenience over money. but the problem was the part was very expensive, and that wasn't Niceley's fault. I would use them again.

The press pad button that operates the lift and recess functions of my pop-up vent was broken. I called the company with a description of what was wrong. Since the exhaust fan was still working, it was clear that the button that operates the lift function was bad. I was not advised of the $159 diagnostic, however, this was not the issue. The service tech "diagnosed" the issue and stated that the part would be $100 and needed to be ordered- total cost 184.00. So, when the part came in and he installed it (in less than 20 minutes) I was caught off-guard by the total of $266.71. My issue is not the amount, it is the lack of clear communication during the process. When I questioned it, I really had to push for the answer as to what was in that cost. So, the work is fine, but the communication not fine. Since clear communication and expectations are critical for me to a trusting relationship, I would not use this provider again. Again, let me explain, the work was fine.
