Recent Review: I telephoned Jim the Plumber and he returned the call within an hour and scheduled an appointment to install the bathroom vanity within two days. He arrived as scheduled and completed the installation. The handles of the faucet that I had chosen were too tall because of soap dishes. He explained the problem, provided options and waited patiently while I went out to exchange the faucet. He removed all trash and the old sink (located in my basement) that had long ago been removed by another plumber (who refused to take it away because it was not provided by his company). He was very nice, timely and efficient. I now plan to call Jim for other plumbing needs.

Recent Review: I removed my bathroom sink and vanity so that I could lay ceramic tile.  The cabinet was on legs, not flush with the floor, so it was necessary to remove the cabinet (unless I cut the tile all kinds of ways to fit around the legs which seemed to be a pain and less attractive in the end).  The cement board under the tile and the tile itself raised the vanity 1/2", so I had to purchase an extender for the pipe, but I was unsure how much to cut off of the extender and was pretty much unsure of how to put the sink and vanity back so that the pipes under the sink didn't leak.  Dave came out to look over the existing pipes and the vanity to see if the project could be done.  The vanity is from IKEA, and is has two large drawers instead of an open cabinet, so the pipe needed to be closer to the wall than with normal cabinets.  Dave was skeptical of IKEA cabinets (rightfully so, since their furniture is very different than what you get at Home Depot or Lowe's and you can only get replacement parts from IKEA).  We made an appointment for him to come back the next week to do the install.  He brought another gentleman, Mark, who was his apprentice.  They were both very polite and professional and got the sink and vanity installed properly in about an hour.  They didn't leave a mess and the sink doesn't leak, so I am very pleased.  I will use this company in the future.

Recent Review: Cody was great. After squeezing us in to meet our deadline, Cody did a great job taking on our project even with a couple of curve balls including a corroded current faucet and broken water valve.

Rick did his usual good job. He picked up the vanity from Home Depot, brought it to the house, unloaded it and did what was necessary to put it in place and and hook up the facets and drains.

WE HAVE USED ZINS IN THE PAST, AND WE CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS. THE COMPANY CALLS WHEN THE PLUMBER IS ON THEIR WAY, THEY GIVE A FAIR ESTIMATE, AND THE JOB IS DONE QUICKLY. LLOYD IS WHO WE ALWAYS ASK FOR, AND HE HAS NEVER LET US DOWN. HE EVEN SWITCHED OUT THE PLASTIC PARTS THAT CAME WITH THE NEW SINK, TO BRASS ONES THAT HE FELT WOULD BE LESS LIKELY TO FAIL. EXCELLENT JOB.

During a remodel of our bathroom, I decided to move the vanity over a few inches and, in the process, replace a water supply pipe that leaked occasionally in the past.  My welding capabilities, however, are pretty limited, and it was a very tight space ... so I totally butchered the job and decided to call a professional instead to help fix it.  I got on Angie's List and saw their Big Deal with Tarvin Plumbing ($54 for one hour of service), and they were able to send someone out later that day to make the repair.  He sweated my sloppy joint, installed new pipes and joints, and had everything working in less than an hour ... and he even allowed me to stay in there and learn from him, patiently explaining everything that he was doing so I could do it again myself next time.  The parts he used were about double ($17) of what I could've gotten them for at a big box store, but that's to be expected when they're delivered and installed in person.  Overall, great response, service, and I'm very satsified!

After reading their reviews, I purchased a deal for half off an hour of plumbing work from Angie's list for this company.  Dave arrived on time & was very friendly, keeping me updated on everything that was being done.  He replaced a part in the kitchen faucet...works perfectly. The drain also runs perfectly. Highly recommend this company!
