Recent Review: Thomas did a fantastic job on our kitchen cabinets. He hung all of our inset cabinet doors, made a couple of doors to match others, and built drawer boxes that fit perfectly into our existing cabinet bases. He was professional, kind, and very intent on executing the job to perfection. He is a true craftsman who loves what he does. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for any woodworking project for our home. We were so happy to have hired him.

Their work has added so much elegance to my home. Reed is so nice and easy to talk to and really is a craftsman. He loves what he does and it shows in the work. AAll About Tile
Dan did an awesome job on the tile floor- he installed the toilet and vanity again and the baseboards. He even trimmed out my metal air vent so it fit with the new baseboards. He worked really hard, and it did take a very long day to complete, but it looks great!

APJ'S Painting & Decorating
Patty was amazing to work with as were the gentlemen who did the painting & carpentry. Their carpenter installed baseboards in 2 of our bathrooms and repaired the trim on our bay window that look great. We had painting done to get our house ready to sell. I asked her to recommend colors and they came out perfectly! Our realtor loved it! Exterior shutters and doors were blue and now they are black. Painted all outdoor trim and bay window. Interior walks were dark from previous owners and are now a beautiful gray color. Will definitely be hiring again in the future when we need rooms in our new house painted. Thank you guys so much!!!

AKelly's Handyman Service
We had a leak in our basement and needed it repaired as quickly as possible. Shaun, came out on Wednesday and realized how urgent our problem needed to be resolved. He then worked on Saturday, and completed all the repairs. We are very happy with the work that Shaun of Kyle's Handyman service performed. They replaced our baseboard trim and repaired a cabinet in our basement. His work was very profession and cuts and corners were excellent. Good work I recommend them.

AHouse Doctors Handyman of Mason
Handyman Doctors of Mason was so easy to work with. Amanda responds so promptly to emails and phone calls. The drywall work that was done was a three step process. Each time Daniel showed at the appropriate time and was very efficient at his job. Daniel was so professional and knowledgeable. I have already recommended him to two neighbors that want to get quotes. He did an amazing job and stopped putting the trim up when he noticed a damaged spot from the packaging before he continued. He wanted to make sure it was ok with me. Believe me, we have hired alot of people from Angie's List but you guys have been the best thus far. Easy to work with, flexible and outstanding. Thank you for being a diamond in the rough.

AVan Winsen Custom Carpentry
Randy installed new baseboards and crown molding in my living room. I had more choices of trim than I would have had at the local hardware stores, but with less expense. Quality service, affordable price.

ADusty Boot Home Improvement
he was quiet and efficient. He re-installed the trim we ripped off our baseboard to install cabinets. He took the time to fix the damage we had done and to make the 130 year old trim work again. It was tough but he made it work. Looks great! Also he hung up a cabinet piece in my bathroom. As well as cut a hole in a trunk for me to use as a litter box. Great work will use again.

AMATT VAN SKAIK CUSTOM CARPENTRY
Matt is an excellent carpenter and did a great job. The trim was finished grade cherry, and didn't leave much room for error. He made the work look easy, and the result is beautiful. I'm really pleased with how the kitchen trim looks.

AInnerwood & Company LLC
They do trim work, cabinetry and furniture building. They are excellent. They do design work and help one fix trim. I've used them quite a few times before. They are considered to be the premier trim contractors out here in Cincinnati. They design kitchen cabinets, they've got some cabinets that they do trimming for and they do new construction, old construction and restoration. They also do full design work for the client and usually don't charge the client anything for the design work to a certain level. They do a great job. I've never had a problem with anything they've ever done. I spent $900. It was a very good price for what they did. They put in very heavy baseboard trim that included the cost of the trim. They did it in only a few hours. They were in and out. I like them a lot.

Gary Flowers came out to do the quote. He was thorough and answered all of my questions. Said he would have a quote in a day or two. Four days later I had to call and see if we were getting a quote or not. (That should have been a red flag). He sent the quote the next day and we went ahead and asked them to start scheduling the work. A few days later, the guys showed up right on time and the work began. They started tearing out drywall and realized that the water and mold damage were not as severe as it looked from the surface of the drywall. So, I asked that Gary come back and adjust the quote accordingly. The guys said that Gary would probably be able to come out the following morning but he would call me to confirm his arrival time. I waited for two days and had to call him to see if he was coming back. He did come that afternoon and he noted the changes to be made to the original quote. The workers showed me how bad the windows were so I asked Gary to quote 4 new windows. He sent the revised quote and window quote the next day. I asked for pictures of the windows so that we knew what we would be buying. He said we could get either slider (like we had) or top latch. I told him we would go with the top latch. He said he would call me the next day and let me know when they could get the windows installed. I waited two more days and heard nothing. I was getting so angry because no one would call me and let me know what was going on. I called the office and asked to talk to the owner. They put me on hold and all of a sudden, Gary is on the phone telling me how they were having some scheduling problems. Again, he said he would call me the next day and let me know when they would be there. Again, nothing. I called the office and told the receptionist that I was really fed up because nobody calls me like they say they will. I get a call from Gary and he says we should go ahead and get someone else to put the windows in if we want. We would have done that but their stuff was all over the basement and they couldn't finish until the windows were put in. I called Gary back and told him to schedule our window install whenever he could get it done. A few days later Jim was here on time and worked all day to get the windows fit into the concrete. After he had the first window in, I came down to look and was shocked that they were slider windows and not top-latch like I told Gary we wanted. Jim said that they couldn't get top latch in the size we needed. Gary obviously didn't know what he was quoting and didn't even bother to let us know we couldn't get what we wanted. I didn't have the heart to tell Jim to take it out so we went with the sliders. He did a great job. He showed me his work and answered all of my questions. He said Gary would call me and let me know when the painter would be here to finish the job. After a few days and no phone call, my husband called the office and told them if Gary didn't call with the scheduling, we were taking their stuff outside and they could pick it up whenever they wanted. Gary called late that night and said the painter would be there in two days. They finally finished up this week with Jim coming back and installing some missing molding and painting it. He cleaned all the windows and even reinstalled the blinds and curtains. The workers get a big A rating from us. They were punctual, efficient and did quality work. I feel bad that they have to get lumped into this review. I wish I could review them on their own. Like I said, they get an A. I get extremely frustrated when someone says they will call you tomorrow and you wait for days. The longer I waited, the angrier I got. And, it's not like it happened only one time. It seemed to happen every time Gary had to schedule something. Either I had to call and remind him or sit and wait to see if he remembered that we hired them to do a job. I knew all along that this was probably a small job on a relative basis. I told them from the beginning that it was not a rush job. So, waiting for a few days or even a week for the guys to come back was never the issue. The issue was being told that they would call and let me know - then never bothering to pick up the phone and do it.
