Recent Review: Excellent service. John and Samantha worked with us to help us decide on the type and layout of shed we wanted, even visiting the site where the shed was to be built. On the day of tear down/installation, crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. Tore down and hauled away old shed and built the new one all in one morning. Cleaned up all debris from work site. I would hire All Size Buildings again and recommend them to friends and family.

Business Description: Rubio Construction is a FULL Service Contracting Company Specializing In Commercial & Residential Storm Damage and General Construction. Our Company Has Over 25 Years Experience In The Fields Of Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Downspouts, Windows, Window Awnings, Patio Enclosures, Patio Covers, Carports, Doors, Screens And Much More. It is our mission to provide homeowners with the highest quality product and workmanship available. The insurance recovery concept that Rubio Construction has developed is intended to assist the homeowners with the complex process of commercial & residential insurance recovery. This is essentially a three-step process: 1) To seek our potential insurance recovery clients and receive their commitment to pursue their insurance claim. 2) To deal directly with the homeowner's insurance company on the homeowner's behalf to secure a fair and comprehensive settlement. 3) To perform the construction/restoration phase on the customer's home, this process has proved time and time again to be priceless to homeowners affected by storm damage. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, the sale of this service is at no cost to the homeowner - absolutely nothing except for the cost of their insurance deductible. The claim in question is to be considered a "no fault" insurance claim not caused by the homeowner; this means that according to the law in the State of Ohio; premiums cannot be raised or dropped. Recent Review: We had a great experience working with Weaver Barns. Michael was our sales rep, and he made the entire process a breeze. He was always there to quickly answer questions, and go over details with us. Because of our city’s building codes, we needed to have the shed on a concrete slab, and Michael was able to connect us with a concrete company they often work with. The building crew was great, and they managed to build our entire 12 x 24 shed in a single day. The shed is beautiful and the construction is perfect. We would definitely work with Weaver Barns again!

Recent Review: Great! Was doubtful if they would get the roof on the house the day it was scheduled due to a light snowfall, but they came out first thing checked out the surface of the wood and blew off the snow and got to work. Comment by one of the other contractors was that does roofing was they would have gone home, but Security was there to put on a roof and they did. Put in a good long day and got a lot done then returned the following day to finish up. Cleanup post installation was good.  Wish all the contractors building our new home would have been this determined to get the job done right and cleanup afterwards.

AR.A. Rhoads Inc
We had a great experience building with Rhoads. From the beginning to completion of our home, we did not have one issue. Their standards are high and they build a quality home. They were the highest bid that we had, but they did not go over on anything. The bid was accurate and complete. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone building a high end home in the Dayton area.

He was excellent. I don't think I would ever build a house again, but perhaps if I did I would use him.

FMillennium Fine Homes
On December 22, 2008, Millennium Fine Homes, LLC (Millennium) was contracted to build a custom home. After eight months and twenty-three days of the nine month performance period and being behind schedule an estimated 120 days, Millennium did on December 3, 2009, walk away from the job and defaulted on the contract. The Homeowners, in an effort to reach an amicable resolution with Millennium?s failure to perform, sent Millennium a Cure Notice providing Millennium a seven (7) day cure period, as required by the contract, to provide Homeowners reliable assurance that Millennium would perform the contract according to its terms and conditions. Due to Millennium?s breaching the contract and subsequent failure to provide reasonable assurance to cure; the Homeowners, on December 13, 2009, terminated Millennium for default for breach of contract due to failure to perform. Also on December 13, 2009, the Homeowners issued Millennium a Demand Letter demanding the return of all funds drawn from the construction loan account but not dispersed to subcontractors/suppliers. Millennium refused to comply with the Demand Letter. The parties went to arbitration starting in July 2010. The homeowners won and received an Arbitration Award. On November 4, 2010, the Greene County Common Pleas Court awarded a judgment lien against Millennium Fine Homes, LLC, in the amount of $222,651.73 as a confirmation of the September 15, 2010 Arbitration Award. Demand for payment was served on Millennium Fine Homes, LLC on November 11, 2010. Millennium Fine Homes, LLC, owned and operated by Mr. Douglas A. Pund, Jr., who now also does business under the name of Millennium Real Estate Development, LLC, was found to have materially breached its residential construction contract, was ordered to refund an overpayment of construction funds, and pay additional construction costs (?cost-to-cover?). As of this report (January 23, 2011), Millennium continues to ignore the responsibility to pay the awarded amount to the homeowners. This judgment lien can be viewed at the Greene County Common Pleas Court Recorder's Office.

For the most part things were pretty good. They provided a good rate for service and the quality the workers provided was good as well. I wasn't completely satisfied with the quality of the shingles however. The shingles were only 20 year shingles instead of 30, which I thought was pretty standard. In regards to the wiring, I'd requested it be run in conduit, the worker was the one who made the decision not to install it, not the owner.  As long as you have communication with Jerry, everything should run smoothly.

This is an update to downgrade my previous review from D to F. We were just notified that the contractor never scheduled the final building inspection. I scheduled it and it failed. Now we get to pay more to fix what was not done right, but not with this contractor.

Because of the widespread damage caused by the hail storm, it took a awhile to get all of the work completed.  The delay was understandable and they did inspect the damage and put a patch on the roof to prevent leaking in the interim.  The work was all well done.  The only issue that we had was quite a bit a very sloppy caulking which was a little unsightly - I let them know about the problem and they sent someone out within a day or two to work on the issue. I found them to be very friendly, helpful and responsive.
