Recent Review: Frank came out last fall to discuss options with us, and drew up the plans for our deck. We finally gave him the go ahead in the spring. He filed all he paperwork, requested the permits and ordered all the building material. Rodney, Corby and Ricky arrived to build our new deck beginning on May 31. It took five weeks (weather not cooperative). I can't say enough positive comments about them. They were professional, punctual and a pleasure to talk to and work with. They were open to every comment, critique or change we requested. This was a huge undertaking. Our original deck had no concrete footers, so the entire second story deck was gutted and we started all over from square one. The deck size is 45ft in length by 16ft wide with a turning staircase. The deck is cantilevered in one area, we also had a wheelchair ramp put in place. Additionally, we made some changes 3 days before completion and they were willing to accommodate us and make the changes (pressure-treated facing board covered in Trex the length of the deck, remodeling part of the rails where the the deck is cantilevered, etc.). Even though the deck was expensive, it was well worth it to us as we are on the deck every day. Included in the cost was the paperwork, permits, removal of the old deck, clean-up and hauling away, the delivery of the Trex composite deck, bronzed aluminum rails, the pressure treated base boards, all other materials, labor and clean-up. Also, they cleaned up everything and removed even the sawdust (Corby). All I can say is if you want a deck built right, Frank and his crew are the way to go. We were extremely pleased with the entire process from start to completion and would highly recommend Pro Deck.

Recent Review: Took a little longer for them to get started than we had anticipated. But, once here, they kept at the work until completed. Made some repairs to existing deck structure at no extra charge. Built and installed long bench out of composite material, and railing out of cedar. The carpenter that did our work was excellent- "knew his stuff!" Came back in fall, after a couple of reminders, to repair a section of the ramp that had sagged.

Recent Review: Matt did a fantastic job! He did some of the work himself, and subcontracted some. He managed the project well, keeping on top of everything, working quickly with attention to detail. After we used the deck a couple of weeks and noticed a few little things that needed to be fixed, (things the sub forgot or made minor mistakes on), Matt came right back and made everything beautiful. We will definitely hire him again!

Recent Review: Outstanding. Very convenient--texted them a photo of the rather large ramp, got estimate, scheduled and completed in about a week. These guys had the technology (sprayers) and the skill to make short work of this project. They power washed first, cleaned up after. Reasonable price (and receipts for all paint supplies they used). Used good quality stain. Very happy.

Recent Review: The experience with Frost was a very good one. They communicated very well with us. The quality of the work was good, and the price was lower than the other contractor we checked with. They started the job when they said they would and took the old ramp out and installed the new one in one day.

AWindows Made Easy
The ramp included re-decking our existing front porch. It had to be raised 3-4 inches and the deck was built on top of that. They installed railings around the porch and ramp. It really looks great on the front of the house. He built a ramp for me at a good rate. He installed the ramp at less than half than a quote we got from another company. They were very reasonable and responsive. He completed the ramp in a little more than a week, which was really reasonable because they had to dig the footers and pour cement before they could put the structure on top. They picked up after themselves really well!

ARIVER MILL CONSTRUCTION, LLC
Matt Pomeroy promptly responded to our first call and arrived the next day for measurements and conversation about what we wanted. He emailed back plans the next day. He mad many helpful suggestion as we went through about 3 iterations of the design finally deciding on just a deck. We had some special things we wanted like very shallow steps (almost a ramp) and Matt was able to do that for us. He also assisted us with getting a metal railing from Fortin Iron Works. He also took care of the proper building permits and inspections. Actual construction was completed by Sean and Adam and they were excellent also. I could tell from day 1 they were very professional. We would talk to them about small things we wanted done a certain way and they were always agreeable to work with. They are also, in my opinion, excellent carpenters who can do everything needed on a construction site. They also kept the work site very clean. At the end of each day they returned the old stairs to our back door so the dogs could go out and do their business without us having to take them on a leash. They worked during some of the coldest weather in November and kept the job going. We are planning another project for this year and will want to work with Matt, Sean and Adam again.
