It went well overall. On the Thursday before Christmas 12/20/12 the garage door spring broke and snapped the cable. The door was pretty much immovable. The internal and external door panels had started becoming separated from each other anyway...I did not have an opener either. I called a couple of places and they couldn't come out for a couple of days, one told me that a problem would be scheduling around the upcoming holidays. I called Precision and they sent a guy out within two hours for an estimate. I agreed, and two days later on Saturday AM a crew member came out, removed the old door and installed the new door, so now I could at least get my vehicle out of the garage. The following Monday AM (Christmas Eve) another crew member came out and did some adjustments on the door to close the gaps. and put some handles on it. The following Friday AM, Brad came out and replaced a panel which had been drilled out incorrectly (not centered), installed the opener and remote, redid the stop gaps for a snug fit, adjusted the bottom molding for a better fit with the garage floor as some settling had occured over the years. They were quick to respond, it looks good, fits snugly, the crew were always on time or a bit early, they worked straight through when they were here. There were a couple of issues, with the stop gap and a non-centered hole in the door, but they resolved them, no problem, no hassles, they said they would make it right and they did...the opener is also very quiet The staff were polite and professional at all times, they were guick to respond to my inquiry even though it was during the holidays. I had read on other posts that, at least at times, Precision was more expensive than other companies...another vendor who had called me back later after I had agreed to go with Precision had also informed me of that, but that's not surprising. That may be the case, but they were quick (when others weren't) and accommodating and any price difference, if there was one, was worth it to me. I would use them again. Kudos to Brad, great job. I appreciate it.
