Business Description: We manufacture Advanced Energy Panels (AEPs). AEPs are a retrofit for historic windows or any window people can't afford or don’t wish to replace. AEPs are interior window insulating panels and can be installed in any building –office, home or industrial. AEPs have a higher insulation and air sealing rating and provide greater comfort than most replacement windows, yet they are a fraction of the cost. AEPs are custom made to fit over existing openings, protecting, preserving and improving your existing windows.
Recent Review: They were very clean. I could not believe how clean they were and I was amazed. They rolled plastic from the outside and put covers on the shoes. They did not all speak English fluently but I did not have a problems with that or their service.
Recent Review: Prompt response and quote from Allen. Had to wait six weeks to get into the schedule. Came on time and were quick and efficient. Only two regrets: 1)Wish I had noticed the crack in one of the panes in the window they used to bring the hose into the house before I signed the invoice and, 2)Wish I had remembered to use the coupon from Angie's List magazine.

Recent Review: they are a awsome company. they camee out gave a price. after i checked a couple other companies we called them and asked them more questions and went with retrofoam. They should up on time they were very professional. explained everything they were going to do. while working on the house two different owners of retrofoam stop by to make sure things were going good and to see if we were happy with everything so far. They cleaned everything up and you could not tell they were even their We have a brick house the drilled between the bricks then repaired and patched the holes you can walk around and can not tell there was holes drilled. Iam totaly satified with the service. Highly recommend retrofoam. Great pepole to work with top to bottom.
Recent Review: The crew wanted us to understand how the insulation worked, and took the time to explain the process to us. They were pleasant, considerate, and tried to be as careful as they could be (considering they were blowing insulation in the house).
Recent Review: Brian Carter was recommended by my contractor. He came out, spent a lot of time, looked everything over including the attic and said I did not need additional insulation; all the insulation and everything I had was more than adequate. In fact, I was quite pleased. He could have said that I needed certain things to be done, and I would have done it. He was very honest, and I appreciated that. His responsiveness was great. I called him, and he was on a job, so he gave me his email address and asked me to email him. He told me that he would get back with me, so I emailed him all the information. He called the next day, set up an appointment and was out a couple of days after that. He was very professional and was here when he said he was going to be here. I would recommend him to others. If I thought that I needed him again, I would have him come out.
Recent Review: A quality job performed quietly and effectively. John and Rusty arrived on time a few days later to add baffles and blow the insulation into attic and overhead garage areas . Both said little but got the job done quickly (approx 4 hours) and cleaned up after themselves. They covered the floor under the tube to protect the carpet. The tube was brought into a second floor window and then up into the attic. They also took a 220 line for their motor through a down stairs window and connected to the stove plug. I was impressed that they blocked heat loss through the window using a piece of insulation. During the installation, I sat in my office next to the window that was ( partially) open and I was warm, despite the fact that it was in the 40s outside. I'm looking forward to improved heating efficiency. This should also reduce ice damming on our roof due to melting roof snow.
Recent Review: The guys from prestige were very prompt on scheduled arrival time. They explained in detail exactly what they would be doing and went right to work. The work was completed in a timely and hassle free manner. The overall cost of the job was considerably lower than the competitors I called in the area. My furnace is running less than it has been, so I believe that their product is everything that the told me it would be and obviously was installed properly. I am extremely please with their professionalism as well as the overall out come of the work performed. I would highly recommend their services to anyone interested in upgrading the efficiency of heating their home.
I found the deal to be a bit overpriced for what they did. They gentleman that showed up to do the work was a bit unprofessional in appearance, and informed me that this was not his normal line of work. He was installing weather-stripping on all my windows and doors. He started working on the windows, and I had to tell him to also include the doors. I brought this up to the owner and he was very happy to come out and examine the work, as I was unsure of the quality. However, he did not offer me any kind of refund or credit on the work. I was not impressed by the service on this occasion.

Very pleased. He was pleasant to deal with and did a very good job. He installed these in December 2004, and they still work great and look great.

Ron is extremely easy to work with. Although we might have saved a few dollars on "on sale" windows, his quote for the project was fair and reasonable, and we are very pleased with the quality and look of the finished work. The project involved 7 windows with exterior coil trim, the front door (with storm door), and attic insulation in two spaces, including removal of the old insulation and addition of new insulation. He gave us a time frame of 4-5 weeks for the door and windows and called to set up the installation right on time. He set up having a dumpster delivered and coordinated the window replacement and attic insulation so that the entire project was completed in one day! This was very convenient for us and the installers were efficient and professional. We feel that Richardson Exteriors was an excellent choice for this project.

I purchased wood replacement windows from Pella and I was looking for a contractor to help me install them. I have some handyman experience myself, but this seemed a little out of my league. Circa had come recommended to me by a friend and I called Mark once my windows arrived. Mark was able to help me assess what the best way forward would be. He gave me an estimate for the work I was asking him to do, which was more or less to lead the project of installing windows while I helped provide an extra set of hands. We got started on the work the following week. Our first window took a little longer than expected because we ran into a problem that we did not foresee. Mark was very helpful in troubleshooting and adjusting our window installation strategy from the very beginning. Mark was very careful to protect the interior trim while doing some heavy chiseling and sawing to get out some pieces of wood that were required to be removed in order to get the new windows to fit. Over the course of two and half days, Mark was very timely and professional. He seemed to have all the right tools for whatever problem arose. Mark was very careful to make sure that each window was exactly level and plumb before he secured the new windows to the frame. Mark was a pleasure to work with. For someone who generally tackles all home renovation projects myself, I really enjoyed having Mark around and learned a great deal from him. Once all the windows were installed Mark took extra measures to make sure the interior trim matched up very nicely with the new windows. This included patching nail holes that had been in the trim for probably 20 or 30 years. I will certainly call Circa Renovations again. I have some projects this summer and fall that I will certainly call Mark about.

Did a fine job replacing deteriorating wood, insulation, etc., with new window unit. He ( Jery Quarles) completed the job in about two weeks, from measuring, ordering, and installation.

Great. Showed up on time, completed job, even though bay window overhang turned out to be more work than expected. Covered everything to make sure nothing got dirty with insulation.

The job was to finish an attic which required some framing and a lot of irregular angles for drywall. The drywalling came out excellent with nice straight lines and no irregularities. They also did all the door and window framing as well as the baseboard to match the natural maple floor I picked out including an irregular circular window frame that came out very nice. They installed the doors and a hand rail. In addition they installed a skylight and all the lights and electrical fixtures and made some good recommendations for the type of fixtures to use. They also did the insulation work behind the drywall to bring it all up to code.
