Recent Review: I can't say enough good things about this company! First of all, they were half the price of the other 3 quotes I received, but after much consideration we went for it - and very happy we did. They were able to get the exact materials we wanted and install the stone fireplace facade within 3 days. They were prompt, extremely tidy and proffesional. The guys worked with me to determine the best placement for the face stones and we are very happy with the end result. They also came back out several weeks later the "back butter" the crown molding to the fireplace (at no additional charge). The reason they sited for being so much less expensive is the fact that their guys are hourly employees and not self employeed contractors so the company is paying them a more reasonable rate. What ever the reason - they were excellent. Very good follow through!!

Recent Review: It went great. From the first time I called them, they were helpful and responsive. They came out to look at our home on a Sunday, so that we could get a quote quickly. They brought over large samples so that we could show the homeowners association what we were going to install. Then, once we gave them the green light to start, they were there within a few days. The demo and install went great. The team was very professional, and they left the site perfectly clean at the end of everyday. We were very impressed and glad we found Newlook Siding!

Recent Review: Originally contacted Denny in the spring of 2012. Denny came out and took some measurements and discussed some options to get an idea of what we were thinkng for the house. Denny came back up a week or so later to go over a couple of different options and gave us a quote for both. As an aside, I also got quotes from a couple other companies who are well regarded here on Angie's list--both were priced significantly higher and seemed to have some reservations about dealing with the rotted wood that would need to be replaced on our house in order to properly attach the facia. Truth be told, unless there was something very unexpected that happened in the quoting process I knew I would be going with Mike and Denny before I even got quotes from them or the others--I grew up working in the construction industry and have been familiar with the quality of their work for over 20 years...the fact that their quote was lower was simply icing on the cake. Fast forward to the fall as it took me longer than I planned to complete a couple of projects I wanted to get done in advance of having the siding replaced. I contacted Denny again and found out he was about to have a medical procedure that would delay when he and Mike could start on my project. He gave me an approximate time-frame and stayed in contact with me as that time approached so I could coordinate him with a stone veneer contactor I was also going to have do work on my house. Once Mike and Denny started working, they were the same professionals I had observed years ago and did an excellent job day in and day out. They were sure to work with my stone veneer contractor to make sure that the siding and stone interfaced seamlessly. They also kept looking forward on my house as they worked to be sure they had questions to me before they needed answers on anything I might want to them to do differently than it was currently done. Mike and Denny also reframed an area at the side of my porch before wrapping it in metal--an area that was an eyesore based on how the previous homeowner had framed it when he added a porch roof now looks very attactive. My entire house also received an additional layer of 1/4and quot; foam insulation to build out the siding for how I wanted some windos to be wrapped, that was included in the cost and helped to further seal my house and insulate it. Along one side of my house I told them that I would be pulling bushes in the spring, so they could feel free to step or cut them as neede for access. Instead, they pulled them all out and hauled them away for me. On another side of the house they didn't like how the original siding was installed along the bottom, so they dug out some dirt where needed and lowered the siding line for a much nicer finsihed look. Ultimately I can not say enough about the quality or work that Mike and Denny do, the professionalism that they have every second they are on the job, and the value they bring. I would use them again without hesitation!!

Recent Review: They were wonderful to work with! Danielle and Andy are very knowledgeable. They had a lot of patience for my many questions and the quality of their work was perfection. Danielle has excellent taste and was incredibly helpful in making our selections in the new brick and design for installation. Communication was consistent, thorough and timely. They were very respectful of our property and it was quite apparent that they cared about their work and my satisfaction with it. I would not hesitate to hire them again and highly recommend them to others.

Recent Review: 1. Time. Once all the materials were in, the time from start to finish was delayed as a result of weather conditions and a couple of minor issues. This was to be expected (and should be with any contractor). Joel did an excellent job of working around the obstacles and coordinating the sub contractors. 2. Did we get what we wanted? Yes. New windows that function nicely and save energy. New siding, exterior and interior trim, porch post installed. Stucco repaired (looks new again and matched to existing work). Brick veneer was repaired very nicely (that in itself was a challenge for NJW). New gutters and down spouts match and function well. Exterior painting was really good (consistent texture, no runs). New garage door and hardware work great. 3. Was this what I expected from NJW? Yes. 4. Was the costs as expected? Yes. Stayed with-in estimate.

Very reliable and professional contractor. The entire process from estimation through final installation was seamless and very well done. Proces were very competitve for the market. The labor crew was skilled and professional with great attention to detail. The house not only looks beautiful, but I have confidence in the materials used and know they were installed properly.

DPerry English Masonry Contractor
I have to admit I didn't care for Perry from the start. He had a negative nay-sayer attitude about the project from the beginning and since he is only familiar with installing "real stone" as in big fat squares, he was pushing that as opposed to "real veneer" stone that he discribed as cheap or fake - when in fact it is the complete opposite! The veneer stone is real stone that is cut to adhere to areas that aren't wide enough to accomodate the bigger heavier stone. His initial price was $5,000 - a real shocker!! Especially since it wasn't even a real solution because it would have protruded over the firebox and looked strange. After he called to follow up, I told him we were not prepared to spend nearly that much money to do this project and he knocked $1,000 off on the spot!?? Strange...why is it suddenly less expensive to do this job?? Next, I told him we had concerns about the way it would look with the big stone, and said he would knock another $1,500 off if we used veneer stone - the very thing he was critizing just days early. So now the $5,000 job could get done for $2,500....hmmm. Perry sends me to a stone place to look at the options, I go to look and find something I think will work very well. While I'm there I purchased some tile stripper and while standing in line to pay for it, I over hear a man with his back to me telling my story to another mason. Perry is telling this man "I have this ridiculous client - I cut my price nearly in half and they are still crying they can't afford it!!" "I mean what more can I do - I need the work, but I'm not cutting my price anymore - I told them to come here and look and still haven't heard back!" He went on and on bad mouthing us to this other mason the whole time unaware that I was standing right behind him!! FOOL!!!!!!!!!!! I was so furious I was speechless!! I of course hired another company to do the work and paid $1,800 for the same stuff!! I will give this guy the benefit of the doubt - he must be desperate, but still - who does this!!??

AHOMETOWN HANDYMAN
He had a minimum price of $100 so he offered to do other things so we had him do the fence post. The experience was wonderful. He was really, really good. He was very professional and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.
