Recent Review: Our sump pump stopped working during the spring when it was raining for days on end. I called Muetzel and the scheduler told me that they were swamped with calls just like mine, but they would try to squeeze us in as soon as they could. We received a call the next day that a crew had finished up another job earlier than expected and they could come replace our pump. We were worried that it would be a major job because our radon mitigation system was hooked into our sump pump well. The guys arrived and made short work of the job and installed a new pump that took right off! I have used Muetzel several times in the past and will not hesitate to call them again!
Recent Review: It's a very good organization. I would recommend people to call them and use them because they are good. Sometimes you have to wait for the good guys for a while. We have been using them for years.
Recent Review: I used them for my first sump pump and so naturally I called them to replace my new sump pump! They are great! They are only going to charge me for what the sump pump cost and not the labor.
Recent Review: When I got home on a Friday evening, my sump pump had failed, the float on my battery back up had failed, and water was in the basement. Chapman returned my call that PM and Jeremy was there early Saturday AM to replace the pump and fix the problem.
Recent Review: James installed the sump pump with battery backup. After the installation was completed, James tested the system to make sure that it was working as it was supposed to. Everything was working except the alarm that was supposed to trigger upon activation of the backup sump pump, it would not sound or register on the control panel. James diligently worked with me and Zoeller (the manufacturer of the sump pump system) over the following two weeks to get the alarm issue resolved. We are very pleased with the work that James Mugrage and Loving Family Landscapes performed for us. We would recommend them to anyone.
Recent Review: The tech was extremely nice. He replaced the toilet flappers in two units and the leaking we were experiencing stopped right away. He even explained which were best and why the ones I kept DIY installing rarely lasted more than a few months. He did have a slight problem when trying to adjust the float in our sump pump, accidentally causing some damage, but immediately installed a brand new replacement pump. Hubs Heating and Cooling went OUT OF THEIR WAY, to make sure we were MORE than happy with their work, even going as far to call us to check up on their work! I would definitely use their services again, without hesitation!!
Recent Review: By the time I discovered that the sump pump had died, the pit was nearly full, and water was seeping through the cracks in the basement floor. I called one of the more popular drain companies who sent someone out right away who played games with options and discounts and bottomed out at $675. I sent him on his way and called Drain Master. I was given a quote over the phone of $585, including diverting the discharge as the first company had identified that the line to the curb was blocked and needed replaced (at about $5000-$6000). Drain Master confirmed that they could send someone out within a couple of hours and complete the work same day, as well as provide a free estimate for the replacement of the drainage line to the curb. I received a call prior to their arrival with an estimated arrival time of approximately 30 minutes - it was more like an hour, but no big deal. 2 techs arrived (Russell and Ridge). I would say that they were not as polished as the tech from the first company, but they quickly assessed the situation and got to work. I remembered that I had forgotten to mention that I was an Angie's List member and asked Russell if he was aware of any discounts. He said he wasn't but invited me to call the office to confirm. I did so and was granted a $25 discount. The estimate for excavation and replacement of the drain line came to $2400, but Russell stated that our lilac would need to be removed first. Ridge handled the replacement of the sump pump and check valve, and they both worked on the outside drain diversion. The work was on the "quick and dirty" side, but the pump worked flawlessly, and the seepage in the basement began to dry up almost immediately. Now that the immediate danger is out of the way, we will go ahead and get some additional estimates for the drain line replacement, especially on behalf of the lilac, but Drain Master is certainly in the running. The only negative of the experience is that I was supposed to have received an emailed invoice/estimate the following day, and I did not, so I need to follow up on that, but overall, I have no real complaints.
Recent Review: After recently moving into a new home, we found Best on Angie's List and hired them to inspect our furnace and heat pump. The original inspection was carefully done, the serviceman was nice, accommodating, on time and knowledgeable. There was a larger issue found with our upstairs unit which involved installing an additional part as well as us needing to update the electrical in our home. Best worked with us throughout the entire process and found us the part we needed and recommended a great electrician. In all, we had about 4 different Best serviceman come to our home (just a result of our larger issue) and each one was very helpful. I was most impressed with the fact that each person knew our situation and why they were there-it was great to see a company that works together so closely and effectively communicates with each other. About 10 minutes after our project wrapped up, the owner of the company was calling to follow up and make sure everything was good. There was one outstanding issue that needed to be resolved and someone was at the house within the hour to fix. I can't say enough great things about this company and the way that they operate. We will use them for all of our heating and cooling needs and will happily recommend to others.
Recent Review: It went well. He replaced the defective well pump. He was on time first thing Monday morning. Diagnosed the issue within 45 minutes. I helped him extract the old well pump, he took the pump apart and saw that the gears were stripped. He brought over the new pump and had it installed and up and running later that afternoon. Everything is going well. He was very competent and professional.
They did not respond to my Angie’s List message. Would not drive 20 minutes from Sunbury to Ashley indicating it was too far. Gave my $1,000 worth of business for this job to another plumber.

We used you many times in past. I have learned to expect fast and good service. I also have always been happy with your price. I used you for my daughters house that needed a new sump pump and your guy was on time and to be honest talks way too much for me, but he did the job I have been thinking since that I thought the price was high. Jeff was the plumber he was nice guy just talks a lot. Invoice 9688 just took off old pump and installed a new $385.00. I'm just asking if this is the right price? I have been lucky to have the owner out most of the time and he is the best. Just need to find out if this is right. Marvin

AMount Drilling & Water Treatment
Water pressure failed late Friday night. We called them around 9am the following morning after. They provided a rough phone estimate for pump replacement and offered to do the work in the afternoon on the same day. Their estimate was just a few hundred higher than the typical estimates we had gotten so far, but the prospect of having our water restored on the same day trumped these relatively small differences in cost. They arrived promptly as promised, diagnosed the problem within minutes, and explained the most likely root cause -- i.e., the deteriorated pressure tank/bladder and resultant short run cycles had likely caused the old pump to fail. They replaced the submersible pump, pressure tank, switch, and several other worn/faulty parts for the 100 foot deep well. Both men were very experienced and competent. They worked quickly and completed the entire service call within a mere 2 hours. The replacement parts all appear to be high quality and the final assembly/fit from the bottom of the pump all the way up to the valves in the house appears to be very neat and professional. They were courteous from the very first call and throughout. The final cost was slightly more than we had originally expected, but when I compare it to the other options we had this weekend, my conclusion is that the cost was fairly reasonable. They appear to have done a fine and timely job overall, and the system appears to be working better than ever. The steady and strong shower that I just finished taking was very nice!

APRICED RIGHT DRAINS
I CALLED PRICE RIGHT DRAINS EARLY THIS SATURDAY MORNING, AND THEY SAID THEY COULD COME TODAY. PER OUR PLAN, I CALLED BACK SHORTLY AFTER NOON, WHEN I RETURNED HOME, CALLED TERRY AND HE CAME RIGHT OVER. HE WADED IN MY FLOODED BASEMENT TO REPLACE MY SUMP PUMP (I ALREADY HAD THE REPLACEMENT PUMP), AND COMPLETED THE WORK QUICKLY AND EFFECTIVELY. I FOUND HIM TO BE FRIENDLY, POLITE, AND REASONABLY PRICED. I WILL NOT HESITATE TO CALL THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

Tim (technician) replaced the pump in my lift station (sump type pump that is 6 foot underground) and fixed it so it could be removed easier. I called because I'm getting older and getting to the point where I don't want to make repairs like that but, now that Tim has modified it to make it so easy to replace, I'll be very comfortable replacing it even it goes out in the middle of the winter in the middle of the night. Fixed the drain on the inside of one of our bathtubs so it drains properly. Repaired leak in water feed line to home humidifier. Checked home sump pump.

AThe Eco Plumbers & Drains
I contacted Eco via their website on 1/26 and I received a call within the hour. I described my issue and they put me on the schedule the same day. A few hours later, I received notification that tech was in route; including expected arrival time and tech name information. Tech, Nick C., arrived on time. We discussed options for replacement. I already had a replacement pump, but he sold me on a unit that included backup alarm, check valve, piping. He was extremely courteous and provided feedback as he was installing the unit. Upon completion, he walked through the specifics of the unit, including warranty concerns, cleaned up the area, and let know to contact Eco if there are any issues/concerns with the unit. All in all, I spent a little more than I expected, but I feel really good about the long term expectancy of the nit and the install.. Great work Nick......

Ryan did an excellent job. Our Sump Pump runs all the time and was making a very loud noise. We had replaced the pump with another Plummer less than two years prior due to our pump not working and our basement starting to fill with water. He came out immediately and replaced the Sump Pump. I was concerned about the pump going out again and per her Ryan's suggestion of a backup sump pump that does not use electricity I had him replace our pump. This pump is so quiet I never hear it recycling. Ryan left the area where he worked immaculate.
