Recent Review: Everything went extremely well.  Shawn and Tommy arrived as scheduled.  They called to let me know that they were coming.  They removed the old stove top and installed the new stove top.  They ran into some problems with hooking up the new stove top, but they were able to quickly figure out a solution and had the necessary equipment with them to fix it.  They cleaned up when they were finished and made certain that everything was working properly.  They removed the old stove top for me.

Recent Review: I couldn't be more pleased with the responsiveness of Waterworks. I had them out twice. Once when I had a sump pump line blocked (turned out to be ice) and again later that week to run a gas line. For the first service, I called at 6:30 AM and got an immediate and pleasant answer. Same day service by 11:00. Needed a different serviceman for the gas line. When my regular company didn't call me back, I called Waterworks again. They could have come out same day again but I was out of town. They came the day I returned and did the work. I will definitely be using them again.

DDan of All Trades LLC
I received a new stove, microwave, and kitchen sink for Christmas We hired Dan of All Trades to install the new sink and microwave They did the work 1/11/16 There was some confusion with caulking around the sink but they came back that week and did the caulking. The microwave was installed properly. But when they installed the microwave, they did not pull out our new stove that had been delivered a couple days before. They put a cover on the stove but ended up scratching the top of our new cooktop stove After some back and forth discussion, Dan ordered a new replacement cooktop which Timmy brought to install today, 2/22. When the new cooktop was removed from the box, it did not match the existing cook top The right front burner on the existing cooktop has a small and large burner. You can turn the knob for large or small burner.  The replacement  cook top had a small. medium, and large burner which does not match up with our knob The left front burner on the existing cooktop  has a small and large burner with a knob that operates both The new cooktop had a single burner   The new back burners were singles, but different sizes than the replacement The worker installing the new cooktop said it would still work the same. He called Dan when we expressed our  concerns  We were told the new top would work fine. We told him we did want that replacement top and he left We do not want a brand new stove with a different replacement top where the knobs do not even match up. I told the worker it wouldn't be such a problem if the stove hadn't only been a few days old when it was scratched and he said it would eventually get scratched anyway. So that led us to believe he didn't feel them scratching the stove was a problem Se here we sit with our pretty new sink, our nice new microwave, and our  damaged new stove. I would not use this company again and do not recommend them

DThe Waterworks
Well, they were punctual and quick. HOWEVER, I will never use this company!! The guy that came out was somewhat rude and very condescending. I had called them to get an estimate and was fully prepared to use their service to install the line the same day. I was expecting, based on searches online to have to pay between $200-$300 to install the gas line. The line runs along our basement ceiling which is a drop ceiling, and there was also already a T-connector hooked up. All that was needed would be to run the line along the drop ceiling and up through the floor. There wasn't even a stove in the way. The company said they could send someone out the next morning and the guy showed up on time. He wore booties and was kind at first. Once he did his figures he began the sales presentation. He proceeded to tell me I needed some extra piece that had nothing to do with my gas line, but was rather something for the furnace that became code in 2003 (my house was built in 2001, so not exactly old). Then he told me the price of it all - a whopping $715!! Ummm.....that was a little (a lot) more than I was expecting, but it was my first estimate so maybe I was just way off, right? I asked him what if he didn't put in the extra "now it's code so you really should do it" bit - that part was apparently $160. So just to run the gas line was going to cost me $555. I told him thank you and I'd contact them later and let them know, to which he replied "So you don't want me to run the line?" I said no, he said "Well, I guess you could just stick with your old electric stove if you want." Yeah, that's my only choice. Pay you too much or forget it. Ummmm....how about I call another contractor and ask for a second opinion? I was still willing to go with Waterworks, provided the next company's estimate was close because I couldn't help but wonder if he was right about that code-thingy-ma-jig for the furnace. THEN I called someone else, and OH! That's what service is like. The next company came out same day, were 10 times more professional, oh and by the way they only wanted $280 for the SAME JOB. What was Waterworks thinking trying to charge me that much? I'm a woman, therefore don't know anything and they were trying to rip me off - that's what. So beware!! Use them if you must, but do yourself a favor and get another estimate or two!!

HIS ESTIMATE FEE WAS $20 CHEAPER THAN ANOTHER CONTRACTOR. HE WAS ABLE TO COME OUT THE SAME DAY, ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF AFTER CALLING. HE HAD THE PART ON THE TRUCK THAT HE NEEDED FOR MY OLDER STOVE. THE TECHNICIAN, WHOSE NAME WAS MIKE, CLEANED UP THE AREA WELL. HE WAS COURTEOUS AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY.

We replaced our electric cooktop with gas cooktop which required a 120v outlet.  Provider ran approximately 30 feet of wiring to connect a new 120v outlet under our cooktop.  I Purchased a $99 2-hour Big Deal.  The work was completed in the 2 hours and I was charged $27 for part.  Total including Big Deal was $127.

The gentleman that came out was on time, looked at the job, and gave us an idea of what was required. Due to the extent of the labor and price of the part, it would just be cheaper to buy a new stove. We will be purchasing a new stove instead of having the work done. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.
