Recent Review: Overall it went very well. The project took a total of 5 days (two were only half days due to scheduling of the concrete delivery and the final day was only half day due to completion). They arrived promptly each day with plenty of water for themselves since the weather was very hot and humid. They were polite and patient with my many questions and concerns. Even to the point of agreeing to fix the broken neck of my concrete goose! There were usually 3 workers each day-with the exception of the day of concrete pouring-when there were 7 workers. The additional workers were skilled in concrete working and finishing. The first 1 and 1/2 days were devoted to demolishing the old steps and sidewalk and the creation and set-up of the area for the new steps and sidewalk. The third day was devoted to the pouring, leveling, and creation of the steps and sidewalk. The last day and 1/2 was devoted to touch-up work on the steps and sidewalk, re-installing the house siding, landscaping and clean-up. We paid half of the fee after the completion of the first day and the rest when the project was fully completed. There were a couple of stumbling blocks-one side of the form for the steps blew out during the concrete pouring resulting in the right of the steps not being at an exactly 90 degree angle and the stencil on the sides and front of the steps did not work out exactly as planned-but not to the extent that I would think of the project as failed. We are very happy with the end result and have received compliments from everyone who was seen the finished product. We would definately hire them for future projects.

Recent Review: I first met the Jeff Ours, owner of JLS Contracting in the summer of 2014. He and his crew installed a new metal roof on my house and garage that year. Which I am still very happy with. He and his crew were always on time, worked diligently from the time they got here to the time they left for the day, took a minimal amount of time for their lunch, always policed up the area at the end of each day, were always professional, polite, and considerate. As a matter of fact, I was so impressed with them and the quality of their workmanship, that I invited them back again this year for a series of projects. Again, Jeff and his crew proved to be one of the best in the business, and all of the above still held true. Jeff is a very professional, down to earth person. He listens attentively to my concerns and future project goals, tactfully provides his professional opinion and offered some great advice and suggestions. Any questions I had about anything before, during or even after the project was complete, he has always been very prompt to address them. His rates are competitive, reasonable and the high quality of workmanship is unsurpassed. This latest project included installation of new siding for my house and garage, installation of 11 new vinyl replacement windows, replacement of 3 storm doors, one entry door, demo of one concrete porch and one wood deck and stairs, creation of new front porch, porch roof, and railings, installation of new garage overhead and single-entry doors; house gutter redirects and some replacements. removal and replacement of badly deteriorating sidewalks and steps. The cost of this series of projects was worth every penny. The outside of my house has been truly transformed. If you want true quality work done by people you can trust, these are the people to contract with.

ADave's Concrete
Arrived on time, tore out the old sidewalk, set forms and poured new sidewalk and were done, all in a matter of a few hours. They even took two wheel barrel loads of old rocks and bricks that I had removed from another project that I did that were sitting in my driveway at no charge. They came back the next morning and removed all of the forms before I got home from work. Very quick and professional!

It went excellent. They were very professional. I would hire them again. I refer them to others regularly. He cleaned up well and you couldn't even tell they were there. I was surprised at how smooth the job went. It was professional, fast, and a smooth job. He was very respectable of mine and my neighbor's property.

The crew showed up early on the first day and finished the next day. All of the work is outstanding. The bid for the job was 1,000 less than closest competitor.

AMILLER HOMES
We were very pleased with Mr. Miller's work. He did a very good job. He took his time and made sure we were satisfied with his work. We had a spot that chipped up on our porch and he came back a repaired it. He is very good at what he does.

I had originally contacted Kim Wright to pour a new concrete garage apron and lay up a brick banister at my home. Unfortunately he passed away two days before. Some time later his sons Jim and Bill contacted me wanting to take on the job their dad had contracted. I gave them a chance and could not have been happier with the results. They tore out my old , huge, driveway for half of the price of what the folks who were going to blacktop it wanted and did much of it with sledge hammers. They used dyed concrete with accented stains and a stamp to make the concrete work look like cut stone. I had them back the next year to do a sidewalk and patio at a price I couldn't refuse. In June 2012 we had a huge storm which dropped a tree limb through our bedroom closet ceiling. They and current co-owner Jason Thompson did my roof very nicely for under the insurance estimate. I now consider these young men good friends and would recommend them to anyone without reservation.
