Recent Review: Dave was very prompt in responding to our request for an estimate. We talked when he first came to look at our home and he was very knowledgeable and reassuring about what he would do to paint our home. The first problem they had to address was a lot of mildew had developed on the wood siding. They thoroughly sprayed it with a cleaning solution and then power washed, being careful of our landscaping and decks. They then proceeded to scrape and sand any loose old paint before they painted. Dave used a paint product made by Flood which seems to be outstanding. Before and during the job, Dave and his men were very attentive and responsive to any of our concerns. In spite of the grueling heat, they were all courteous, competent and respectful of our property.
Recent Review: Jesse & his guys jumped on the job and had it done less than 3 full days including cleaning the pool deck (concrete), the pool house, and painting the diving board. Never looked so good!
Recent Review: Excellent work. Did exceptionally good job on preparation. Best quality of any painter we have ever hired. Night and day difference. This was the third time we have used his services. Stained areas of the decking the last painter didn't touch.
Recent Review: We initially found them on a google search and realized they were local. Then looked them up on Angie's List and read the excellent reviews. They were also given an A rating through Better Business Bureau. Shane and his crew did a spectacular job on our house. We are very picky about having work done on our house and could find no faults with their work. In fact, we would describe their work as meticulous. We will definitely contact them again, for our next painting job!
Recent Review: I was told from the beginning that they could not give a firm date because other jobs ahead of me may be rain delayed. They gave me a tentative date of July 28th and that date was delayed a couple of days. The guy that did my work wa the most competent professional I have used in the past 30 years. He was on time, worked hard and did a very professional job. I will definitely use again..
Recent Review: Jim Williams and his representative were very helpful and answered all of my questions. Max and Oleg were sent out to do the work and did an excellent job. They caulked 1200 screw holes that could not be seen after they had applied the Rhino Coat paint. The house looks great.
Recent Review: I was very concerned about this job as my house was really in bad shape. Steve Earle showed very professional and honest. He was concerned by the fact that a lot of the loose wall paint came off of the stucco walls with the first pressure washing, and that more of it was beginning to peel off in sheets. He told me that for this paint job to last long term, all of the stucco paint would have to be removed and we would have to start fresh with bare walls. It was a difficult decision as this increased the cost of the job, but I do not regret it. Steve is also very punctual and very friendly to work with. To me, he did a very good job. My neighbours across the street seem to agree with this as they want to hire him!
Recent Review: We had a great experience. From the start, Pete was responsive, courteous and professional, and he worked with us as we changed our requirements several times (due to some deck work being required, and then postponed). His price was very competitive. And the crew did great work, spending several days painting all trim on our mostly brick tudor house (including windows, downspouts, and everything but the brick, there was a lot to paint), and also putting a coat of solid stain on our deck. There were a few missed spots, but Pete had someone out quickly to handle these. All in all we're very happy and would recommend Pete Arnold Painting.
Recent Review: Power washing crew prepared the deck surface several days ahead of the sealing crew, deck surface was prepared by reseting nails, clean application of sealant in color of choice without splashing on house siding, deck looks new!

Quality of work in the end was very good. They were punctual in providing an estimate, but were unable to complete the work for several weeks due to having other jobs. They could have been clearer in explaining the process upfront, since the estimate did not clearly indicate that it was a 2 day job. Stripping was done one day and the worker did not indicate when the remaining portion of the job would be completed. When I called, they did explain that the process was a 2 day job and appologized for not clarifying this upfront.

He sprayed one coat. Could see the old finish through the new finish. Missed several areas. Was in a very big hurry. I called him back to fix it and he spent 10 minutes with a brush and left it mostly the same - unfinished. I have a case pending with the BBB

AHatton Quality Painting LLC
This is a great company with great people. Mary and Mike Hatton are perfectionists and perform outstanding high quality work, as do their artisan staff. My house is in better condition on the exterior than it was when newly built 20 years ago. Every external surface has been refinished, cleaned and re-painted using high quality paint selections that give it a luster and seal that it never had before. These are painting experts that know the importance of extensive preparation of the house before the impeccable painting process even started. My garage door has a multi-color design on it, that they re-painted in such fine, crisp, and clean detail that it really stands out, even when viewed from the street. The Hattons are really driven to provide a quality outcome, and I will always use them in the future. I highly recommend them for quality and value. They are very busy, so be sure to plan ahead if you want to use their services! I booked my house in March, to have my house painted in July. Another fantastic Angie's List find for me!!

THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON SEALING THE DECK BUT WHEN THEY CLEANED IT THEY MADE A REAL MESS OF THE HOUSE SIDING AND WINDOWS. I DID HAVE THEM CLEAN ALL OF THE HOUSE WINDOWS AT A LATER DATE SO THE WINDOWS WERE CORRECTED.

They pressure washed the deck, sanded it and applied a coat of opaque painting. The cleaning, sanding and painting crew did a great job. They kept it very clean. I would probably use them again in the future.

Rick is very responsible and does great work! We spend our summers down in Florida so he is coming to seal and paint our deck very soon. The deck construction itself was done very well!

Jason and his company are excellent. They are skilled professional painters who do an excellent job at a very competitive price. They are very neat, work promptly, show up when scheduled and, will offer constructive opinions on how to tackle some projects when you're not exactly sure how to proceed. Also, we've found that really no job is too small and they will return to do touch up if requested. In other words, a great family owned and operated full service painting company.

FON DECK SERVICES INC
On Deck ads claim they use "low-pressure" washing but the technician used high pressure and ruined the deck. The grain is now raised and rough and about 1/4 of the deck looks fuzzy because the wood was damaged. The debris from the pressure washing actually reached the second story of the house and stuck to all the windows. When they came to stain and seal the deck several days later, they didn't bother to remove any twigs that had gotten onto the deck after the cleaning; just sealed right over them. They applied 3 coats of stain and apparently did not allow it to dry sufficiently between coats. It still feels sticky wherever the sun hits it.

PWC helped me to pick a day for power washing. We waited for about two weeks before we could find a dry day for sealing.
