Recent Review: Fantastic!! The entire team we dealt with (Spencer on the business end and Matt and Tom for the installation) were extremely professional and did an outstanding job! They were always on-time; were meticulous in their work; left the house as clean as how they found it and were transparent about any delays or additional work that may have been required; which was minimal since the completion date was only four days after what was promised. Any delays were caused by correcting shoddy work done by the previous installers. It's also important to note that we were also pleased with the professionalism of their supplier partner, New York Kitchen & Bath. We highly recommend Advanced Craft Bath Remodelers, and would definitely use them again. A++ Great job!!!!

Recent Review: The installation crew worked incredibly hard at completing the install in one day. There turned out to be some discrepancies in dimensions which could have been easily avoided by one person interfacing between original sale and installation. We gutted the bathroom and did the prep work before Kinetic came in. Despite multiple phone calls back and forth, the dimensions for the enclosure were slightly off, adding additional time to the work crew's install. A 5 minute visit a couple of days before to verify would have prevented another 3 hours of crew work. One year after installation, we developed a mold problem in the grout. We called Kinetic, they ordered our correct color grout and came to the house immediately. Fortunately it was just a surface problem. They stripped all the old grout out, reapplied the correct color and diagnosed the issue. Apparently, it was a problem of prevention. While I clean the shower every time I use it, I had ever been given a list telling me bleach was ok to use s long as rinsed right away. We had had a houseful of company for about a month; they'd shower, leave the fan off, close the shower door and bathroom door after using. Easy fix!

Recent Review: Tim and Seth just killed it while renovating or Master bath. This is the 4th project We have used them on. We love it. They make the renovation fun because you know they are going to show up on time and complete the work on time and on budget! They take care to leave your home clean each night. They work hard and have positive attitudes and fun personalities. Regarding the project itself, Tim took all of our design ideas and sent us to the right people and places to make them happen. He especially nailed it by recommending a unique shower door vendor which really finished off the job in an amazing way. There was a lot of extra work and skill required to assemble and fit these huge pieces of glass together. But as he said, it was worth it. Most contractors would recommend the standard door configuration from the premier local provider that’s in every other home. That’s not how Tim and Seth Roll. We missed Anna on this Job but will see her when we go out to dinner soon to celebrate the great renovation!

Recent Review: Although he is very busy, he calls or emails me to let me know when he will be coming.  Once he starts a project he finishes it.  He makes sure everything is done to my satisfaction, he cleans up everything.  Not only is he a very pleasant, trustworthy person but he is fair and works extremely hard.  He cares about the job he does and spends as much time as required to make sure everything is done correctly.  If there is something he cannot do, he will let you know.  I would not hesitate to call him again.

Recent Review: Terribly. It is really a nightmare. Everything you might hear about bad contractor happened to us. When Mr. Frank Dipaolo did renovation on the powder room, he did not turn the water supply lines completely closed and water started to leak. Eventually water leaked into basement, damaged basement ceiling and floor. He hired a subcontractor to install a jacuzzi tub and it has never worked. To make things even worse, they never installed an access panel. And now with all tiles already installed around the tub, we have to hire another contractor reinstall the tub and tiles. The worst thing is that he took our money and just disappeared, leaving tons of unfinished work behind, such as no shower doors installed, no mirrors, no shelves installed, no water supply to refrigerator, blocked drainage in kitchen, damaged marble floor, peeling paint on the wall in basement, damaged ceiling, just to name a few. All he asked for was money and money. At one point, he even threatened us to leave the job if we did not pay him in full. And he still left the job right after he received money. He did not answer my phone calls,. and when I tried to use my friend's phone to call him, he did answer the phone, but the moment he heard my voice, he just hanged up the phone. During this agonizing process, delay after delay, lie after lie, empty promise after another. He left us no choice but to take him to court.

Terrible. Completed work arrived when he was supposed to. Work was not to my satisfaction. Trim was installed crooked and shower doors leak. When I called him about it, he basically said it was my problem. I told him I had to pay him for work I have fix. He said "yup, I guess so."

Randy is very reliable and responsive. He charges $35/hour which is very reasonable. I have used him numerous times and he is coming back to take down basketball net since my sons no longer use it. His price is very affordable for his services. I give him A's all across the board!

DClear Side Home Improvement
At the beginning it was, "I can do that, no problem" but when it seem to be a an issue all of a sudden there was a problem. Many things that were requested were turned into that's not going to work, that can't happen or he was just unable to do it. If you would've simply said I've never worked with that tile before or I don't know how to move lights and put them where you want them I would've been a lot happier. It seems every place that was a mistake there's caulk, a lot of caulking was used. other than the drywall most was substandard work, painting with noticeable mistakes, tile not matching properly, and glass shower doors that I picked out and paid over the allotted amount for out of my pocket were installed properly and had to be fixed!.

CU-Name-It Remodeling & Renovations Inc.
Prompt, courteous, tidy, did what they said they would do, which I understand is a step above many contractors.  However, if you want quality workmanship and attention to detail, these are not your guys.  I have subsequently incurred costs to have plumbing straightened out (they left a convoluted configuration under the cabinets; had it redone to make the cabinet space usable), had hot & cold switched on one of the sinks because it was reversed (yes, I should have checked that before they left -- but should I really have had to?????), and straighten out a fixture that wasn't installed "square."  The heated floor does not work.  The worst is the shower tile.  U-Name-It might do just fine with a surround, but I strongly recommend that you do not have them do tile work.  It is very, very uneven.  Also, mold began to creep in after just a few months of use -- which I know from HGTV happens when the surfaces are not properly prepared (waterproofed) and tile isn't properly installed. (And for the record, I'm a fanatic about squeegee-ing, making sure there's adequate ventilation, and cleaning, so that's not the cause.)  All of that after several adjustments during the process.  As I said, if you expect attention to detail and better quality work, you should look elsewhere. That they generally do not seek permits should have been a clue; granted, that does not necessarily speak to workmanship, but it does suggest that corners may be cut where they can be.
