Recent Review: It was great. Brad's team finished in less than a week and they were prompt, professional and neat. They started on a Monday and finished on a Thursday. We could hardly tell they were in the house when we got home from work as they placed items neatly back, picked up any signs that they painted and neatly stored their items in a corner of the garage. I would highly recommend Fontana Painting and would use them for all of my painting needs as they did an excellent job and were very reasonably priced.

Recent Review: The job was completed as stated. Jim cleaned up at the end of each work day.  He was very aware of family interactions and was sensitive to the impact the work had on day to day life.  Many times when you have workers in your home they have predetermined flows and priorities.  With Jim,  I made the decisions on which rooms and where to begin.  Though clearly Jim was in charge, I felt involved in the decision making.  This alone helped make it a more enjoyable experience...if having your home totally disrupted can be enjoyable!!!  I have already recommended Jim and would clearly use him again.

Recent Review: They were very nice and completed the job when they said they would.  They had to clean-up some wooden doors that they didn't fully open, this should have been my first clue, and didn't reinstall any of the switch plates that were removed.  I did go through with Jaymes, at the start of the job, all the windows that had screens and did open since we have an old house.  Finally at the end of April/May 2011 the weather is finally warming up, I tried to open a back window (one that clearly has a screen in it since we don't have a storm for it).  I had to cut the paint with a razor blade and even with that we can only open it about 6 inches and clearly they near opened it since the bottom part of the sash  wasn't even painted! Then I needed to change the long term filter on out second furnace (in a second basement the isn't used at all, we don't even open the door unless we have to change the filter) and I opened the painted door and they never even painted the bottom of the door...they never opened it!.  We have now noticed some of the paint bubbles showing, so they never properly prepped the wall/trim surfaces.  I called Jaymes and left a message, he didn't return my call.   I called a few days later and he was very confrontational, wondering why I was calling then, I explained to him what I found especially about the window.  He basically called me a liar saying that the window was painted shut in the first place.  Why would I lie? He was completely unprofessional and obviously a one and done painter, not relying on recommendations, as most contractors do.  I would NEVER recommend this painter.  As the weather becomes more humid, the paint on the trim is bubbling.  The surfaces were never prepped.

It went as smoothly as all previous times. They Power washed deck, stained deck, put up baseboards and molding, finished painting rooms that needed touch ups and repainted. Took care of front door ,looks beautiful. Thank you Again,!!

Very neat, for straight painting she's great. Calls back, is on time, But for prep work very poor. Didn't sand areas that needed to be. Poor spackeling skills and again not sanding. Painted over mollies, didn't remove. Didn't paint door trim with paint I asked for.

They came out in a few days after calling in March, and gave us a good estimate and a promise that the work would commence in 2 weeks. I found myself calling them every week for 3 months after the initial 2 week period to get when they would do the service. I kept getting told it would happen "next week" and when the following week came and went - I ended up calling to ask when it was REALLY due. I never got an explanation for the chronic delays and had to threaten to cancel the job in order to get their work crew out to pain my house. In hindsight, I should have canceled the job and found someone else. The quality of the work appeared to be good - but they painted the bathroom and 2-3 months later the paint is starting to bubble up - and I am dreading calling them since it was difficult to get them to do the initial job, and this would be fixing an error.

The work itself, and the service was excellent. I could not have been more pleased. Kevin, himself, was on site each day working with and supervising one or two others. Kevin gave constructive suggestions when I asked for advise choosing colors, paint types and other options. He was always punctual arriving each day. The work sites were always left clean and picked up. His estimate as to the time needed for the job was right on which was wonderful as I was planning for the upcoming holidays. His estimate for the cost of the job was also right on; no surprise costs to finish the job. Kevin was extremely easy to reach and responsive to any questions I had and anything I wanted changed and/or fixed during the work. Kevin and everyone working with him were very professional. They were very careful with all my furniture and other items. They even put up my new, very curious, kitten who loved to follow the guys around the house. Fortunately Kevin caught her before she dunked her whole head into the paint pan one day. The only result: light blue whiskers!
