Recent Review: I took home samples and picked the natural stranded bamboo.  When it was delivered to my house prior to installation, the actual flooring was slightly lighter and more yellow than the floor sample - enough that I decided I didn't want it.  They ordered another run of the same color, which was just the same as the earlier delivery, so I picked out another color ( which I love in the room).  They were able to order the new color and get it installed in a matter of a few days. They were very nice to deal with, very responsive and willing to do whatever it took to get me a floor that I liked.  The installation itself went smoothly and the floor looks great!

Recent Review: Dominick was great! I gave him the measurements for the rooms requiring flooring, the number of stairs and after deciding on the flooring I wanted he did the rest. He answered every question I had completely and to my satisfaction. When it came to selecting the right underlayment for my floors, he gave a very compelling demonstration. I was very pleased with my purchase after the flooring was installed. I would recommend Lumber Liquidators and Dominick to my friends and family. As a matter of fact, my parents purchased flooring to replace the one in their kitchen. Well done!

Recent Review: They don't do the installing. I have probably used them four or five times in the last four years. They helped me select the flooring, and made recommendations. They helped me pick out carpeting and the luxury vinyl flooring. Four years ago we got the bamboo flooring.

Recent Review: This is a small company of 4 regular employees.  The owner (Larry Thomson) and his son (Kyle) came to my house to provide an estimate. They arrived on time, took measurements, examined the material that I purchased and gave me an estimate right on the spot.  The estimate was $1,040 which was more than another ($750) but less than a third ($1,545). I took the day off from work to be in my home during the installation.  I was told the crew would arrive by 7:30 am but they did not show up until 8:45 am.  Turns out that Larry and Kyle had delegated this job to their employees, Steve and Tommy.  They had another job to stop at in the morning but word never got to me.  The late start got me concerned about them showing up. Turns out Larry just had a grandchild that day so he wouldn't be there.   Once his employees arrived all was good.  It would have been nice to be contacted by Larry about these minor changes.  Steve was the floor installer and he was a pro.   The crew laid down plastic to enable them to walk from the garage where they cut the flooring to our kitchen/dining area for the installation.  This kept my house clean.   The only concern I had during the job was not boxing the new dishwasher in place so that it could be removed for service (if necessary).  Steve offered to remove the dishwasher and install the flooring underneath it if necessary.   As the work progressed near the dishwasher, he carefully measured and determined that there was sufficient clearance to pull the dishwasher out over the new flooring.  During the installation - supply of wood flooring ran low - so I had to make a trip to Lumber Liquidators.  This delay, in combination with the later start, caused Steve to rush at the end and miss a few minor items.  The trim board under the dishwasher needed another rip cut so the dishwasher door could open and close properly.  He never checked this.   Also, some of the nail holes were not filled with putty even after he mentioned that he needed to do this.   I will need to address these items myself.

Recent Review: I contacted Brant based on prior Angies List comments and he is everything the others said he was. The floor installation is almost done and I find Brant responsive, cheerful and pleasant to work with, highly competent, honest, well-priced, and I would recommend him highly, except I want him to spend more time working in my home and not to move to new customers too quickly! We have discussed more work, which will include sheetrocking/spackling, painting, etc. I have been doubling up with another contractor at the same time, who told me he'd hire Brant to work with him on building his own house, which is the best confirmation of my own gut feeling that I can think of.

Recent Review: I can not say enough good about Bob. He was quick to call back and provide an estimate. He was knowledgeable and able to help take my ideas and add his own to create a beautiful space. He spent time researching how to do the flooring, since he had not worked with this product before. He picked up and delivered materials I had purchased. He was able to accommodate changes to the plan and additions to the work load. He was very reasonable with his rates. He was very thorough and detail oriented.  He was able to work with the challenges of an old house, like uneven floors and warped walls.  He found a solution to our heating needs, despite the age and oddity of how things were put together.  He was friendly and great to work with. I am already planning the next project that we will be doing with him.

I made the mistake of using one of LL's installers, AARS hardwood flooring. My advice to potential customers is to use an installer that is recommended by a friend or neighbor. My bamboo flooring was installed in February of 2015. It looked beautiful for 2 weeks. Then it started to gap in various spots. I complained and was referred to LL's complaint dept. it took months of negotiating before the repair was done in June. The floor seemed fine for a while. Now, in march of 2016 it is gapping in several spots and popping up in another area. I do not want to have the second repair done by the same installer. Hopefully, I'll be able to find someone that knows what they're doing, even if it costs me more money. I found AARS flooring [the owner] to be unwilling to accept responsibility for his mistakes. I found most of the employees at LL to be rude, unprofessional and obnoxious with the exception of the store manager, Nick.
