I purchased the Handyman for-a-day deal, and the work went very well. The handyman was very professional and did a great job, to include cleaning up after himself, which is always a plus. He even went to the store to purchase the correct type of weather stripping, since I had gotten the wrong product. I was a little surprised that his home office didn't tell him I purchased the for-a-day deal. I found out when he finished the work, since he was going to charge me the normal pricing. We quickly cleared that up with his office, but I did end up getting charged extra, since he stayed slightly beyond the 8 hours to finish the list I gave him. If purchasing a deal, I highly recommend communicating that up front with the person doing the work, before he or she starts, to avoid any confusion. Overall, I was very pleased with the work done, and I would use this company again, but I would communicate up front any deal or coupon being used.

I was pleased with their work. First Dave came to look at the doors (at no charge) to see what needed to be done and what materials would be needed. He gave me an estimate and I made an appointment to have the work done. Dave replaced the weather stripping plus he repaired/plugged other gaps around the door frames. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. I was please with their

ASteve Fried The Handyman
I had an individual replace my exterior and interior door. My problem was that the door handle on the exterior door touched the interior door so that one could not lock and close the exterior door properly. We had a lot of wind in my area so I wanted this problem corrected. I signed up for Angie's list hoping to find handyman to solve my dilemma. Steve rectified my problem so my doors close properly. I also had Steve replace old weather stripping on my front door. I am definitely satisfied with the result and would highly recommend. I have a cracked window that I intend to contact Steve about in next few months.

Excellent professional team performed the work over ten days. They were very diligent, polite and cleaned up at the end of the day. Jon made sure we were satisfied at the end of the project. The results are dramatic from a drafty home to a comfortable well insulated tight home. We can't wait to see how much fuel oil we save. Their proposal was very detailed and the follow-up as well.

AMonk's Home Improvements
I contacted Monk's for an estimate to replace the weather-stripping around my front door, and to fix a "nail-pop" in my kitchen ceiling. The estimator arrived on time and had also called ahead to confirm the time & date of the initial visit. In addition to fixing the "nail-pop" in the ceiling, he also suggested repairing some other cracks in the ceiling, and gave me the quote which also included repainting the entire ceiling. On the day of the job, the estimator arrived on time with his foreman and crew. They replaced the door stripping, and completed the work on the ceiling. At the end of the day, the foreman returned to check in with his workman, and I notified him it looked like the paint was peeling in a few spots where the spackle had not completely dried. He apologized for the inconvenience, and said he would return the next day to fix the problem. They arrived on time the next day, and corrected the areas to my satisfaction. (They even were able to use the ceiling paint that I had on-hand from earlier in the year, so the paint material was not included in my estimate.) This was my first time using this company for handyman work and I found them to be very professional and would use them again in the future. They were very pleasant to work with, and did a great job on the repair and cleaning up once the work was done.

FThe Small Jobs Company LLC
BEWARE!!!! Appeared on time for initial review of the job and was courteous but went down hill from there. Jeff said he needed a few days to put together the estimate, which was fine. However, his few days turned into weeks with my wife e-mailing and calling him multiple times to keep him engaged. Every time contact was made, he said he needed to research a few more things before providing us the estimate. If he didn't want the job because it was TOO small, then he should of made it known to us early on rather than dragging this ordeal out for weeks. Because it was a smaller job, hence the name of his company, we were expecting and willing to pay a little more just to get the job completed. Very dissappointed......no estimate ever came and communication ceased!!!!! As my wife said, and quot;wow, I completely misjudged him.and quot; The cool weather is now here, we have no weather stripping on those doors, and have to start a new search for a 'professional' handyman.

Paul is a find. He was responsive. He performed the talks, cleaned the area and was fairly priced. I would hire him again.
