Recent Review: Albert Fiori was recommended to me by my hairdresser who had used them in the past. They did a wonderful job. I called, left my information on a voicemail. They came out, and left me a quote in my mailbox. I called asking them to come meet with me to discuss the project because we wanted to add a concrete sidewalk. It took me some time to get someone to return my call to schedule the meeting. It is worth making the effort. Their pricing was far more reasonable than anyone else, and they did a stellar job! It has been two years now, and both my driveway and sidewalk look wonderful! I plan on having them come back this year to put on my sealing topcoat. I highly recommend them to everyone. Once we were scheduled, they stuck perfectly to the time schedule, and had my driveway completed in one day. I was extremely amazed by their professionalism and work quality. I was glad I persisted with them in getting the appointment set. It was well worth my time and effort. The driveway and sidewalk just cost a little over $3,000 which was very reasonable!

Recent Review: We had Justin and his crew replace a 20 ft by 16 ft irregularly shaped brick patio, concrete steps, a 6 ft by 30 ft concrete breezeway, and 2 concrete sidewalks totaling approximately 150 square feet with stained and stamped decorative concrete. In addition, they installed a drainage system to move rain water off the patio, through the breezeway and into the yard. It was a complex and large job. As part of the job they removed and hauled away the existing concrete steps, concrete breezeway and sidewalks (I had removed the brick patio previously). They dug out where necessary - the new sidewalks were wider than the old ones, some digging around the edge of the patio was required and digging was required for the drainage system. Everything was graded with gravel and formed - and the patio required flexible pvc 1x4 forms because of the irregular shape. Lot's of rebar in the steps and around the edges of the patio and breezeway where they touched the house, and concrete wire for all areas. Hours of planning and work with a survey transit were required to ensure the drainage worked correctly and the concrete came to an appropriate level in each area. So while the price for the project may seem high, there was a lot of effort required. In addition, we chose to get stamped and stained finish on the concrete. To get the look we wanted Justin worked with us to understand what we were looking for, but he also put his ideas and design expertise into the process. We spend an afternoon driving around Owego with him to see prior jobs that also allowed him to see what type of features we were looking for. He suggested 'wedding cake' style steps which, while we would never have thought about it, are absolutely the right steps for the patio and my wife loves the result. We talked a long time about patterns and color palettes, and we are very pleased with the results. While I'm sure we could have gotten stamped concrete at a lower price, part of what we paid for was Justin's experience in the field and his design expertise. The result was well worth the cost. Justin and his team were professional and always on-time, the job site was cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day's work. All of the team were willing to answer questions at any point in the process, and they all made sure we knew what was happening and what would happen next.

Recent Review: Absolutely wonderful!! Total professionals - job beautifully done. They had to re-excavate the mess left from another excavator on a sewer line replacement job. The previous excavator had not properly filled and tamped the site - we had sink holes and craters - our property looked like a moonscape ! DiRenzo Brothers Construction re-excavated, filled, tamped, put in a beautiful concrete driveway and front sidewalk, graded and seeded. Couldn't be happier - would absolutely recommend highly.

Recent Review: We called for an estimate, they came in, measured, marked the layout and gave us what turned out to be an accurate estimate of the time and cost involved. They showed up on schedule and worked hard. They were friendly and answered all of our questions. They usually do large contract jobs but they also do this kind of 'specialty' job, the stamped concrete, which I would recommend to anyone considering options for a sidewalk or driveway.

Recent Review: The project date was hard for them to agree on, for we were a fill in job. Once agreed upon, they came through. Their suppler for the concrete was not accommodating until Dand R had to strong arm them. Because of having this job done so late in the season the grass did not come back as good as it would have if it was done earlier in the year.

Recent Review: Because of a cancellation, Joe Tomanek asked if he could start our job several days early and we agreed. They moved in just before noon and the job was complete by 5pm. Their equipment was obviously well-maintained and worked properly and the crew worked together as a team. The attention to detail was obvious they showed respect for our home and existing walks and paver-block parking area. For instance, they temporarily removed a gutter down spout to gain access to the area below it for uniform compaction of the blacktop. They also raised the level of a drop-inlet to match the contour of the new surface and spent extra time rolling the back fill I had placed over a drain pipe that paralleled the edge of the paving. Several times during the paving operation and then again as it neared completion, I was asked if I was satisfied. Their concern for my satisfaction was obvious and was not limited to Joe the foreman--each of the men reflected this concern. Nearing the end of the paving, Joe sent out for an additional ton of material to even out the appearance of an apron that leads off the driveway to a lower, unpaved drive. He was concerned with the aesthetics, not the functionality and he was right, it looks better now.

They poured a concrete sidewalk for us that looks just the same today as when they poured it. Our friend said it looked so good that a 747 could land on it. They are a general construction company and the guys are Ukrainian, but, they've been here quite a while. They were diligent in the subsurface preparation before pouring the concrete and put rebar in it. I am getting them to do an estimate to do a roof repair for us. I give them the highest ratings and would use them again in the future.
