Recent Review: I cannot say enough good things about this contractor. He is knowledgeable, organized, guarantees his work for two years, and has excellant employees working for him who were neat and polite and able to carry on unsupervised when he was struck down by swine flu during most of our reconstruction. He has the right kinds and sizes of equipment for doing jobs and keeping yard damage to a minimum. He accommodated other contractors that needed to be involved for our project even though it meant relaying pavers that were uplifted to install posts for a gazebo.

Business Description: VILD brings years upon years of design experience to the forefront. From a touch of class in one room, to the sophisticated party in another, to the chic pool party outside, we design more than just layouts. We paint a canvas that clients spend their lives in. Although our home office resides in Northern NJ, we cater to 14 different states including NY, FL, CA, TX , NC, AZ, SC, RI, NV, PA, CT, TN, WA. This is why we’re different…. 1. They, take the designs you discuss and work only within that model, focusing the energy on only that one design. We, offer up to 3 completely unique designs based on your style. 3. They, charge you full price for the furniture and decor you choose, but make a commission on the top due to an industry “trade discount” they have with that store. We, give you OUR discount that we personally get, anywhere from 15-25% with the stores you love, thus saving you more money.

Recent Review: For over 20 years I have had excellent service from John Kuebler of Pro Pool Service. He always responds to calls -- often walks you through problems on the phone without charge. He has opened and closed my pool for many years, delivers chemicals for the year at a reasonable cost, replaced the old pool lliner in 1999, replaced an aging filter, installed solar heating panels (what a great investment -- really extends the swim season). I would recommend John to anyone with a pool who is looking for honest, reliable, economic service.

Recent Review: From start to finish, the job was top notch. Communication with this company was fantastic. I did so much research before deciding to go with this company and I'm glad we did. I can't say enough positives about this company. I never felt forced to sign them up to do the job. Everything and every question was well answered. They made the process go like a well oiled machine and stress free. Beautiful work. We are very very happy with our new inground pool.

We are pleased with the completed project. The work was done expeditiously and with a lot of interaction with us to make sure we would be satisfied with the results. The fountain has a new look, and it is working fine.

They said they do not like to do liners for pools they did not install. They would install but will not provide service for liners that pull out of liner. No guarantees. They would have to charge for that.

FGARYS POOLS
The sub contractor came and installed the pool approximately  a month later the whole pool burst into my yard and my neighbors yard, flooding basements. I had owned a pool for 20 years prior to buying this pool i was just replacing the old obviously the liner had never burst. When i called Gary's pool they told me it was my fault i must have put to much chlorine in it!! they were rude and no help at all!! I ended up spending more money with another company and contractor  because Gary Pool had taken my money and now it was my problem. AWFUL!

CPACIFIC POOLS & SPAS
I first contacted this company among others for quotes to replace a inground pool liner in the summer of 2010. The person I dealt with Paul (not owner) came out and gave a fair price and good information about the process. We decided to wait until the next year (2011) to proceed. I began calling in March of 2011 to get the process moving. I was told by the office staff I would need to wait until Paul returned from a medical leave. I would call periodically over the next 2 months waiting for a call back. Finally he returned to work and was able to visit me again. We agreed on the work to be done - new liner replacement and repair of the sand bottom. I was told the liner would be in about 1-2 weeks after they ordered it and would be installed soon after. We ordered the liner in mid May. After about 2 or 3 weeks we called to check on the status and where told there was a problem - someone at the company forgot to sign off on the paperwork and the liner was never ordered. It was finally ordered and was received about a week and a half later. As a side note the months of April and May where very rainy. This will be important later. I contacted Paul about when install would take place. His answer was he need to check with Joe the owner. I heard back and was told a week or so. When I didn't hear anything after a week, I called again to inquire. Again told Joe would need be asked. A few days later a crew came out to remove the old pool liner. I was never told when they were coming. They just showed up. It was not part of the contract that they take the old liner to dispose of and it would be my responsibility. Fine, however the rolls of old liner where water logged and rolled into bundles that could not be lifted by one person. Upon later inspection, I found the leaves and muck from the pool was hidden behind a stone wall instead of put somewhere I could of had disposed oo them properly.Additionally they proceeded to pump all the remaining water to area of my yard that contained a shed and children's playset creating a muddy mess. I was left to remove some minor tree roots that we supposed to be removed by the company (it was on the contract.) It took me about an hour later that evening and finally I was ready for the new liner.I again called to find out when the liner was to be put in. After a few more days of no response, I again called and ask that the owner contact me regarding my scheduled date. I was never called. Finally I was mistakenly given the owners cell phone number and contacted him directly. The conversation started off normally with me inquiring about my scheduled date. He proceeded to provide all sorts of excuses, the main one being the rain. I said I understood that, but just wanted a date to plan accordingly. He said he couldn't provide a schedule, since there isn't a hard schedule. The jobs are scheduled the night before. I told him about the ordeal I had with the failure to respond to my early requests to get on the schedule in early spring and the whole mistake by his company with the order. Of course he knew nothing about it. He did know about the bottom of the pool and the tree roots, citing these as reasons for not coming. I advised him that it was noted on the contract about these things and of course he did not know about that. His response was that there are people from the previous season still waiting for their work to be done and they aren't complaining. At this point we both are out of hand yelling and cursing. Finally we settled down and he told me the crew would be out in 2 days. Of course they didn't show up. No call. I did receive a call later that night saying they would be over the next day. The next day came and still no guys. I spoke to Joe again and he assured me that they would be out later in the day. Finally the guys did come out at 6:30 pm. The guys that came and did the work were excellent. They are the reason this company is still in business. They worked hard, were very informative and motivated. Great job guys. Unfortunately the owner never came out to inspect or contacted me or made an effort to improve the customer relations.

The sales person was very nice and seemed to want to please his customers. I was able  to contact him in my hours of despair. I asked him to consider in the contract to open the pool since they would be tearing out the liner. The two men that opened the pool caused nothing but havoc. The left my yard filled with garbage. and pool supplies . When I called to complain Majestic said thats what they do. They never clean the pipes ans things involved, I don't have all the technical lingo. It later on caused more problem and we had to get a new heater. They never backwashed air was not getting trough and another plumber had to be called. I do have  picturesnof this mess. The men that installed the liner were very good and did a good job. The end result was that they treated us with disrespect and I would not recommend them to anyone. They wanted us to accept work that was poorly done and the owners would not call us back during this ordeal.   Thank you for this opportunity to express myself and still hope for better times. I just feel if you can't be curtious when your spending $5000.00

AMR POOL ENTERPRISES LTD INC
We were losing water when the skimmer line was open. The guys arrived, confirmed that the skimmer line was broken, and went straight to work. They had to break up the concrete, dig through the mud, fix the pipe, fill the hole, and pour more concrete. They cleaned up everything when they were done; the patio looked exactly the same as it did before they started working. The work was done in 2 days because initially we thought we only had a problem with our skimmer line. After the skimmer line was repaired, we were still losing water. They came back out (the same day we called), checked all the other lines and started working on the return line (same process as before, just different area). Excellent work!!! I can't compare/evaluate the pricing because no other company was willing to fix the pipes of an inground pool unless they installed the pool.

FColley's Pools & Spas
At first I was not happy with this company. I had contacted them in April, got an estimate in early May, and was told they couldn't come out to install the liner until late June. It seemed like they were planning on installing it way too late. My wife was due to have a baby in July and her swimming would be over for the summer after just a few weeks. However, the weather was cool and swimming would not have happened anyways, and they were also able to get the liner installed a few days earlier than they had estimated. It worked out perfectly with the weather so I got over that. Colleys sent four employees out early on June 20th, a foreman and three workers. They spent all day draining the old liner, removing it, cleaning the framing of the pool, replacing fittings, and installing the new liner. They worked efficiently, were very friendly, and got the job done. That night they had be run hose water in the pool until it got to a certain level, while shop-vacs kept the liner tight to the wall. The next day they were out again very early to install the steps. Again they were quick, cleaned everything up, and were out of there. The pool looked great and still does, and all  we had to do was fill it up the rest of the way. One other hitch: I was told that I would be given a small used sand filter free of charge, but when they tested it out, it leaked. So instead they sold me a new sand filter at what I'm assuming is cost considering it was $200 less than what they have it going for in their store. No problem. It works great. All in all I would use Colley s again. I would just recommend getting your job request in very early in the season and your deposit soon after to ensure prompt service because it appears that the crew that was out to my house was THE crew. UPDATE (10/13/2015) A 4-inch portion of the liner came unsecured over the course of the liner's third summer of use. Called Colley's in late August to schedule someone to come out and fix it, but could not get an appointment until 10/13. At approximately 10 AM two technicians from Colley's showed up and I directed them to the pool. Before heading to the pool they asked me to boil water so that they could heat up the liner to stretch it easier. I went inside and put the pot on and was back outside in two minutes at which point the techs were returning from the pool. They told me they didn't need the water and the job was done already. Two minutes of labor (to say three would be generous) to reaffix a pool liner I paid them 2800 dollars to install three years ago. I was told it was not covered under warranty and was charged $119.63 for the service call.  Techs told me there was nothing they could do about it, that their boss John Kibler had told them to do what they have to do to get payment. COLLEY'S CHARGED ME $119.63 FOR TWO MINUTES OF LABOR.
