Recent Review: We had about 10 shingles blow off our roof in a windstorm. Matt returned my phone call in a few hours and gave us an estimate very quickly. He made the repairs the next day. While on the roof, he checked the the rest of the shingles to make sure they were in good shape. The replacement shingles were very close in color and style to the existing shingles.

Recent Review: Overall our experience with Cedar Creek was very good. Roofing was completed in one day with workmanship and clean-up being excellent. Communication would be the only area with room for slight improvement as both the estimate and the work were completed at times that were not expected. That said, the roofing was completed on a day that we thought supplies were being dropped at our home, so it was ahead of what we had expected - a welcome surprise!

I then started keeping track of how things went each day: 11/6 paid $1500 for materials for roof 11/13 paid him $500 11/13 he worked 10am to 3pm half shingles off and cut down tree brush that was in the way worked 5 hr 11/14 got supplies 9 packs of shingles. Started taking off 2nd half at noon worked 4 hours. 11/15 worked noon to 4 - 4 hours Did not finish - left cap not done 11/16 - no show 11/17 - no-show I then hired someone else to finish since he abandoned the job and cleaned up all the cigarette butts and nails all over my garage and driveway. The red drink stain will not clean up. Materials Shingles 9x35 = 315 Metal - 50 Felt - 50 Disposal ? 100? Total 550 tops 2000- 550= 1400 profit Working a total of 13 hours . Recent Review: Bruce Reed of BDR was absolutely fantastic in our dealings with him and we highly recommend him to others (we have already recommended him to a friend who is redoing their roof). In one of the storms in last fall, several shingles got ripped off our 18 year old roof and were scattered across our yard. My wife called another contractor (not Bruce) who did not show up before the winter snows covered our roof. After the thaw, we called Bruce. Bruce called us back and showed up the same day on his way home from another job. He inspected the roof and determined what was necessary for a short term fix (Bruce did not think a total roof replacement was necessary at that point but pointed out that it likely would be necessary in the coming several years). Bruce took a piece of the broken shingles that we had in the front yard from last fall, so he could properly match the color for the replacement shingles. Bruce communicated well with us throughout the entire process and did a fantastic job on the repairs. We were out of town the day Bruce did the repairs and I called Bruce in the morning he was scheduled to do the work to ask if he could also look at the gutters because we started seeing some leaking around the spot where the gutter guard had ripped off before. Bruce told us that he actually had already completed the roofing job but was still in the neighborhood. Bruce went back, determined that gutter build-up was the main culprit as well as damaged downspouts (that had been run over with the lawnmower). Bruce trimmed the gutters and cleared the gutters up top to allow for better flow. Since his repairs, our roof has had no problems and we have had no water issues with our gutters and downspouts. My wife and I highly recommend Bruce Reed / BDR Construction.

Recent Review: This provider showed up when they said they would both times and completed both jobs in two days and completely cleaned up.  I had a choice of shingles from a brochure and current condition of my roof was evaluated and estimated prior to work starting. The provider notified me of the lawsuit for IKO shingles and failures that I was unaware of.  I had a small leak starting prior to back half of house being done. I believe this provider is is green in recycling roof shingles instead of them ending up in a landfill. I asked for a payment option that most customers do not request; using a credit card. This was new for them and they worked hard to get this option available and working. This provider has also done work for some of my neighbors and other neighbors were impressed and considering hiring this provider.  One job was done close to winter and job completed in a timely manner and cleaned up.

Recent Review: First of all, David noticed that our roof needed replacement before we did, and simply left his business card outside our house.  I picked it up, gave him a call, and he told us the roof looked like it was ready for replacement, and whenever we were ready to consider our options, to give him a call. The next summer, I called David to provide an estimate.  He came out to the house on a Saturday morning at the agreed upon time, and walked me through ALL the details and considerations regarding a new roof.  It was clear from our first meeting that David knew his trade very well and was dedicated to providing high quality service and products to ensure a lasting roof solution.  After providing me with his estimate David even pulled out his ladder and some new shingles and patched a 3? x 3? area of the upper roof where we had lost some shingles. No charge. A year later, I obtained updated quotes from several roofers, included AATek.  Their pricing was on the upper end of the competitive range, but the value David offer was un-rivaled.  Quality products, professionally installed, complete with a Lifetime Warranty on the shingles AND the labor.  He knew all the shortcuts other roofers might take and shared his insights about the benefits and trade-offs I should consider in making my final decision. Without a second thought I called David back and signed the contract with AATek.  I told David I had some flexibility in my schedule, so we set a tentative date for the project and he committed to confirm the schedule as time got closer.  David called me as promised near the notional start date to communicate that he?d like to push the start out by a week so he could service another customer with a more pressing schedule need.  Worked for me and worked for him, and I appreciated his timely and open communication. During the project, David and his team did everything they said they would.  They worked hard, updated us as on the project as needed, and cleaned up the job site every day. They ran into a few little issues, but took care of them at no extra charge. Our new roof is even better than I?d anticipated, and the aluminum wrapping on our wood fascia boards will save me from paint and ladders for a long, long time.   I?d highly recommend David and the AATek for anyone in need of a roofer.  In fact, I?d be happy to provide additional information if anyone is interested; feel free to email me @rbmcgregor@comcast.net.

I am very pleased with the work Top Notch Roofing did with the installation of my new roof. David Smith, president of the company, answered all my questions and concerns in a timely manner. However all correspondence was done by phone or e-mail. I would have actually liked to have met him personally. I give top marks to the work crew that showed up. They were professional and courteous. The crew showed up on time and got the job done in the time specified. They kept the work area very clean and picked up everything at the end of each work day. They also took precautions to protect plants around the house. The finished roof looks great and I expect to not have any problems. Also, Top Notch Roofing gives a 5 year workmanship warranty. After getting several estimates, Top Notch Roofing is very competitive on price. I researched reviews and talked with a neighbor who used Top Notch Roofing and decided to go with this company. I'm glad I did. I would definitely recommend Top Notch Roofing.

Excellent work.  Despite the rain, the shingle replacement was completed in under 1 hr. for a very reasonable price.  In addition, the shingles we needed were already stocked in their service vehicle.

I contacted David Smith of Top Notch Roofing on November 12 for a quote on replacing roofing on my house. The price was in line with my expectations for architectural shingles, and Top Notch offered a good warranty. When I learned that they worked weekends, I asked if it would be possible to do the job during the coming weekend (November 17-18), as good weather was forecast, and a later installation might be complicated by colder weather and snow. They arrived in the afternoon on November 16 and started stripping the old shingles and put the new material packages along the ridge. The crew of 6 worked Saturday and Sunday and completed the work Sunday afternoon. They protected landscaping with tarps and kept the ground clean, picked things up as they went, and hauled away the debris. They cleaned and raked the grass before they left, and they left the yard as they found it. Two of the crew returned the next day, on request, to check the function of a vent and to neatly tie off TV cable. Overall, we were very pleased with the efficiency and quality of the work.
