Recent Review: .They (2) came in did the installation, gave training on using the new system, cleaned up and left. I liked their work so much they came back the next year to install a stream humidifier on the furnace. Again a great job. I have since called them for issues and they have been helpful on the phone. I wanted to schedule work to be done but I waited too late and they were already booked when I called. My neighbor also used them for his heating and central AC install. I would recommend them!!!

Recent Review: I called for an estimate and Ron Mcquerry called back to provide the information. They offered two types and I selected the powered humidifier. Ron accommodated my request for Saturday service in the future which also allowed him to schedule a tech with proper amount of time allotted for this service. The tech arrived at the agreed upon time and installed the product, performed the fall check up and cleaned up before he left. These are good people to work with. I read in Consumer Reports that when it comes to heating and cooling that it is better to have a  contractor who gives good advice than it is to pick a product or name brand to purchase. I have had several experiences with this company over the years and found them to be honest and knowledgeable about their work.

Recent Review: The technician, Caleb, called about 20 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was almost to my home in Grand Isle. It was his second service call of the day and he was at my house around 10:30 AM. When he arrived he introduced himself and made chit chat while I led him downstairs to the utility room. I described to him the problems the furnace was having. He went to work after some cursory investigation and pointed out to me that there is a fault code (blinking LED) through a sight glass at the bottom of the furnace front access panel. Good to know. I left him to disassemble everything in peace so I didn't hover. He took apart the combustion chamber in about 20 mins (tight clearances and he didn't have the exact tools necessary, seemingly). He let me know the problems (dirty burners, a cracking ceramic igniter element) and what he could do to fix them. I opted to replace all the parts and he recommended that I replace the flame sensor too. OK. He called the office/shop and they had all the parts needed on hand there. Excellent. He left and I stuck around to wait for his return. This is where the only part of the service call that I had a slight problem with comes in to the picture. Since it was around noon he took his lunch while on his parts run to Chuck's shop. He didn't disclose that to me before leaving. I commute to Colchester. From my house in Grand Isle to their shop is a half hour trip. I had expected for him to be back at most 1 hour and 30 mins later. He was gone for about 2 hours and 10 minutes and returned around 1:15 PM. It's a small complaint and take it with a grain of salt since I do live an hour round trip from their central location. I would have liked a heads up that he would most likely stop and eat lunch or a call while he's gone to let me know he would be a little later. I work in the service industry in a job that requires me to be on a customers property. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking lunch on a clients time if they were waiting on me to do something- especially if it's a malfunctioning furnace in colder weather. With that said, he was quick to install the new components and reassemble the furnace. He tested it and it functioned correctly. While he was still in the utility room he informed me of any other things that he noticed and investigated: rust stains; water spots; unplugged humidifier. But he did not find any other major problems. Overall though, it was great service. Caleb was very knowledgeable, very professional and a nice guy to boot. The work was performed quickly correctly and I haven't had any further issues since the service was performed.

AMcQuerry's 24 Hour Heating & Air Conditioning
I was told I would get a call Monday to let me know when they would be able to return with the parts and another call when he was on his way and that is exactly what happened. My husband was home with Brian this time and he was also very impressed with Brian's ability, knowledge and thoroughness to do everything not just 1 or 2 things. He fixed the problem of the way the water leaves the air conditioner so we won't have water backing up anymore. He told us there should have been a switch installed on this water collector which we elected not to fix at this time. He even checked our humidifier which we thought was being checked by our other company but showed us signs of how it was not working and had not been checked in awhile. He told me the proper MERV rating for the filter for our system which I had never heard of but would have helped us better when my son was here (used ultra violet lamps to help kill mold etc due to son's allergies). We were both some impressed with Brian (although he said all their techs there are the same) but he just went through envy thing that Saturday. Now with everything fixed you can really feel the air coming from the furnace. I plan on definitely using them in the future and will recommend them to all. Thank you Brian, I will always ask for you.
