Recent Review: Eric Frarey and Jeff Rathbun came out to measure the pool and within 2 weeks liner was ordered and installed. Very professional and worked within our time frame of having our own water truck here to fill the pool. Liner was ordered from FingerLakesPool and Spas2. Highly recommend that business as well.

Recent Review: Sal and his team did an excellent job.  When I first contacted Sal he was eager to help and even coordinated the purchase of the new liner for our pool.  Even though we were outside of his install area (about a 40 minute drive for him) he kept the price the same and didn't charge any fuel surcharges that we were getting from other installers.  I ordered the liner over the phone at the place he recommended, he then picked up the liner for us and had it installed in less than a week.  He and his team showed up while we were at work and had the entire job done before we got home.  He left the worksite as clean and neat as he found it.  Honestly, except for the new liner, you couldn't tell any work had been done!  He even took the time to hook up the filter system for me at no additional charge.  Sal is one of those "customer-first" guys.  I would recommend him in an instant.  Great job, great service!  Thanks Sal.

Recent Review: Excellent, Jack does a great job! He was very friendly and professional, he made sure I was completely satisfied with the job. He explained everything he did and had to do, which was more than I expected. I would highly recommend PK Pools to anyone I know or don't know. We went with a 25 yr liner which was a much heavier gauge than the original, PK Pools gave us a fair price on it and it was easier on us than spending the money for a 20 yr liner at the same price online. Then trying to find someone to install it for us. I will use PK Pools again when needed.

Recent Review: Their work in general seemed very professional. As far as I can tell the lining looks very good, as do the steps and as does the cover. One thing that worries me is that they removed the padding that was behind the old liner. They said it was sagging, it would have to be replaced, but no one installs padding anymore. So they put the liner over the bare metal walls. I hope they were telling me the truth. I can tell the difference when I touch the walls, but it's no big deal so far. My main complaint is delays. We paid our deposit in May and were told that the liner would be put in by mid-June, but it was not done until late July. When we called in early July they said they were just putting the order in. Backing up a bit, when technicians came out to measure things and find out where the steps were to go, the talk was very casual. However, they and we did agree on where to put the steps. Not hearing anything for a couple of weeks we called, and discovered they were about to order the liner with the steps in the wrong place. We caught them just in time, but as I said, the order was still apparently not put in for a few more weeks after that. One unfortunate by-product of the delay was that we had to deal with a pool half-full of dirty water full of algae, mosquitos, and tadpoles during the hottest part of the summer. We were told not to completely empty the pool to prevent the walls from caving in. The cover did not take as long, but it was still a week later than we were told it would be, long after we paid our deposit. For example, first we were told that an additional measurement would not be necessary, but then someone came anyway several days later. I want to emphasize again that the technical work done was very good, as far as I can tell. I am not so frustrated with them that I would not use them again. I have not found any pool repair person who is truly reliable in the way I'd like! I will just be wary of any dealings I may have with their service department personnel. Their store people and on-site technical people seem fine.

If you continue to treat customers like this, then you're going to ruin the book of business your dad built. I left a voicemail with follow up questions about issues I noticed with my new liner. After no response, a week later I left another voicemail asking for a phone call back. Then Sal sends me a rude text message and I asked again for a phone call back. Then I got was a very rude nasty text message when all I was asking was for a simple phone call back for his help with the issues. I wanted to know if it was normal with a new liner installed and if so then how do I fix it correctly. It is sad this is how you treat someone who has follow up questions. I can't be the only person who had questions about their new liner and thought to call and ask the guy who installed it.

SPS Pool Service did an excellent and professional job in replacing our pool liner.  Sal came over to our house and examined what we had and then made recommendations.  The liner was replaced the next day.  I would strongly recommend his services.  We plan to use his service again next Spring when it is time to open the pool.

3 years ago I had my pool liner replaced, it had been leaking every year, they came as scheduled, replaced the liner, and I haven't had an issue since. I bring them in to close the pool every year and they show up on time, do the work expected, keep everything organized, clean up after themselves and the cover stays on and doesn't leak all winter. When I open the pool it's always a nice clean start. No complaints about the work these people do! I would recommend to anyone needing assistance with their pool.

Sal and his guys were extremely professional, hard working and did a fantastic job on the whole project.   We could not be more pleased!   They came out on Friday afternoon to assess the existing liner and pool itself, provided a written estimate.  I called on Sunday to get things scheduled and they came on Tuesday to do the work.  The liner looks beautiful, the pool is back in proper condition, everything that was wrong with it was addressed and additional materials provided to make things "right".   They also noticed that a portion of my deck was hitting the pool wall due to the deck shifting slightly, they addressed this as well.   Overall, my husband and I are extremely satisfied and I would recommend them to anyone!  They were recommended by Ace Swim and Leisure where I bought the liner.

As soon as the pool was refilled, it was clear there was a significant leak in the water-return fitting. Multiple attempts were made to contact this contractor about the problem over a period of a few weeks, and there has been no response.
