Recent Review: They offer a lifetime product and workmanship warranty. A home inspections person in our area gave major publicity and positive attributes about this company. Also, Angie's List provided positive results. I researched and got opinions from others regarding the best products to use. A few of building materials and weather caused the work to be delayed, which was not their fault. They were able to meet a timeline to my satisfaction. As a complimentary service, they applied metal trimming to a couplet near the roofline. There were materials which I purchased on my own whereas the siding and windows were bought through them. I was quite pleased with the end result.

Recent Review: ssThis is a seasonal cottage built ages ago on piers/stone columns with no foundation.  All of a sudden the bedroom floor developed a sag and bounce!  We thought that a pier had given way.  We called this company - they were the only ones in the area who seemed like they could do the work.  The day after we called, they went and inspected and from the outside, thought it was a collapsed pier from water run off from the hill behind the house.  We met them onsite a few days later in freezing cold winter weather, when they dug a hole (under the plywood sheathing that had been placed around the columns in the belief that it would keep the inside warmer in winter) and scurried through ... and inspected under the cottage. They determined that joists under the bedroom and utility area and sub-flooring had rotted out due to trapped moisture (no venting in that area because of plywood sheathing!) and mold (sill plates were OK).  They pulled out some to show us - crumbly and soft!  It was amazing that the bedroom had not fallen in completely.  Tackling the job from above, they removed the finished engineered wood floor in the bedroom (saving 98%) of it for reuse, took up rotted oak sub-floor, removed rotten joists, installed new piers, jacked up settled portions of cottage, sistered joists under the utility area as they were not accessible from above, replaced all joists under bedroom with pressure treated ones, installed new insulation between joists, installed pressure treated plywood sub-floor, replaced engineered finished floor that had been saved Then, because of settlement over time, and the fact that the cottage was now level again, the separation of the ceiling from the walls that had occurred were now closed, but settlement cracks in wall remained.  They spackled, compounded, replaced trim, etc. as necessary and then repainted bedroom, bathroom, and living area. The men were friendly, responsive, and trustworthy.  We were lucky to find them - Thank you, Angie's List - and are pleased that it worked out so well.  We don't know what we would have done otherwise!

Recent Review: I discovered that my home was in need of much repair and updating.  Some projects were necessary to maintain structural and functional integrity, but some things I choose to do for comfort and looks. Overall I had an excellent experience.  The contractor stayed within the budget as quoted.  Before changes were made either in the project or with project materials, costs were discussed and agreed upon. All electrical and building inspections/permits were obtained and coordinated by the contractor and each project passed inspection the first time. Timing of projects could sometimes be delayed, however, these delays or changes were discussed and alternative schedules were agreed up. The structural repairs were always complete on time or early. Some of my upgrades were delayed due to either product availability or scheduling.  I was fortunate as I was not in too much of a rush to complete some things and was able to work effectively with my contract to arrange agreeable completion times.  This was very beneficial to me as I was somewhat limited in funding availability.  Payment arrangements were always discussed and I was given ample time to gather the necessary resources to fund my projects.  I did give a deposit to cover materials, however I was never asked for payments beyond work that was already completed.  The workmanship of all of my projects goes beyond excellent.  Contractor promptly rectified and/or repaired or changed any areas I was not please with - which was only two items (no added cost-based on the original plans and agreements). Both workers were always prompt, pleasant, courteous and respected my home and property.  They cleaned up every day upon the complete of each day's work so I did not have to struggle with any messes. This contractor was not the cheapest quote, however, he came with high recommendations, is a local contractor and guarantees his work.  The end result of my projects always exceeded my expectations and I feel I got a great value for my money.
