Jamesville Pond Installation

I like this company a lot. I bought a new house with an existing pond and was given their name as the company that took care of it for us. I have had great experiences with them. I've had multiple questions and Jessica, Kaine & Kim have always been so great about answering my questions and helping me out. I added fish which has been fun and then ultimately decided to expand the small pond into a bigger pond with a dual stream/waterfall. When they came to start the work, Kaine was great about helping me catch all of the critters and put them somewhere safe before they started to dig and the work was done in the time I was promised and the end result is beautiful!! Before they came to start I had told them that I was going to be traveling and really wanted it to be far enough along to have the fish safely back in before I left for my trip. They made sure that happened for me which made me feel better. Again, the end result is beautiful and everything worked out well. In addition to the pond expansion, any time I've had any issue or needed a service call they have been great about getting to me quickly.

After the pool liner was put in, it sagged in a couple spots. The guy who came out to fix it gave me attitude.

I was very pleased with the service and timeliness of the work. They were pleasant to deal with and completed the installation as promised.

Everything from the very beginning of the transaction was fantastic. From the time they came to give me the estimate, he told me when he would be back with the product and everything was exactly what he promised and what he told me. He came out with his crew and installed it and it is absolutely perfect. I thought he was a bit pricey but in a long run it was worth it.

Dishonest and poor workmanship. Pat installed a liner and did some plumbing replacement. The liner was not correct and did not fit right in the corners and the pool bottom was not finished properly even though he charged us extra for bottom repair. The plumbing was installed incorrectly and had to be re-done. I would never use this company again. Pat refused to address our concerns and made belittling comments about me when he thought I couldn't hear him. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY !!!

We would like to be clear, we had no problem at all with the INSTALLER. He was the one person who tried to help us. Whe the liner finally arrived, he did a great job..."thanks Ken". Syracuse Pool did allow us a percentage towards the new liner.

We have used Pool Surgeons for many years for replacing liners & weekly maintenance. They provide outstanding service. They are professional, knowledgeable , efficient & dependable. Highly recommend.

I was surprised; they do a lot of pools. When we first contacted them, they were a new company. Jeff, who owns the company, was a general contractor getting into the pool business. We felt pretty comfortable using him because all of the employees that he had were from another pool company that had just recently closed. That company had a long-standing excellent reputation with pools. Some of these guys had been doing pools for 20 years. They gave us an excellent price. They were very attentive at the get-go. We had an issue with the wrong liner, but it wasn't their fault. We brought it to their attention during the install, but they thought it would flatten out when the water went in. That didn't happen. The owner said that the liner needed to be perfect, so he actually installed a new liner, even though the water was in. We emptied the water for them, even though they should have done it. Overall, they have been pretty good. I can't say they were excellent, because there were some communication issues. It was difficult to contact them and get information about the start-up. That hit a few little bumps. After the job got going, everything was fine. Communication issues were our main frustration.

They were very prompt about coming out to measure my existing pool.  Very courteous people.  Ordering the new liner was easy - they brought me a brochure of the available designs and vinyl options and I called and gave them a deposit via credit card.  Told me it would take about 2 weeks for the new liner.  It was more like 3 1/2 weeks but that's fine.  I called to check on the status of my liner last Thursday and was told I was on for Monday install!  I would have liked a bit more warning but that's OK.  Was told I would hear around 9 a.m. Monday (yesterday) if they would be showing up around 10 a.m. - dependent on the weather.  I called around 10:30 after not hearing from them at all.  Told me the guys would be there "shortly".  Called again around 1 p.m....  still no guys.  They finally showed around 2 p.m. or so.  I'm sure if the prior job goes over, this is what happens, but I would have appreciated a bit of notice since I had to take time off from work for this. That said, the guys were great!  They were very careful about where the remaining water in the old liner ended up so that we didn't affect any of my neighbor's lawns or basements.  They were very neat, they were very friendly, they got right to work and took care of everything.  They answered all my questions as they went along.  The liner fit perfectly and it looks beautiful.  They came back first thing this morning, as promised, to remove the machine that was sucking the air from underneath the liner as the pool filled.  They advised me that they are Cannon employees, that they do not work on commission, and that I had a year to call them back if needed if any of the bead comes loose or I have any sort of problem with the new liner. As an aside, they also made friends with my dog so that I didn't have to keep her cooped up in the house while they worked. Nice guys, excellent result, and a tolerable price.  Overall I'm very pleased.

Wonderful! We have been dealing with this company for over 10 years and couldn't be happier with their service! We knew nothing about pools when we bought a house that had one over 10 years ago and they have bent over backwards to help us learn to take care of it and have always saved us money, they have never suggested we purchase anything unnecessary. I have to say that with 10 years of experience in working with this company, we have never been less than satisfied with their service!!!!
