Recent Review: Everything was awesome! Malcolm was the best! Pool is 36 (w) x 48 (L) yes it look like lake Ronkonkoma in my backyard!! lol. Both patios were done about a week earlier than expected with no issues. When i was being taught about the system and how to work everything Raul was great at setting it up but not great on explaining it to me. He also was very confused about the electric heat pump and how it worked. The other issue was that the Heat pump was busted with a bad coil from the factory. Swim kings got on top of it and the entire unit was replaced in a few days. With that said it was very minor stuff and all rectified asap! the total cost has all the work included, electric, heater salt water unit, pump and stone work.

Recent Review: After many years of thinking about it and periodic urging from my wife and adult children, I finally bit the bullet and decided to have a pool installed in my side yard. We opted for a 16' by 36' in-ground vinyl liner pool after meeting with three pool companies. The first fellow talked a good game but seemed short on attention to details yet eager to close the deal. I had to drag ideas out of him and information on filter systems, heaters, etc. The second company rep was keen on selling me a pre-cast fiberglass pool once he realized I didn't want to shell out for a gunnite pool. Folks that I checked with told me that the fiberglass gizmos are ill suited to a mid-Atlantic climate and were really only designed for use in warmer, sandy climates. Our third candidate was Maltese Pool & Spa. The rep spent a good deal of time with me explaining the vinyl liner system and the quality and features of the filtering and heater equipment they recommend. He also walked the yard, took pictures, and discussed best location for the pool and decking. About 10 days later we met with Camille at the pool company. They had done a computerized graphic aerial view of our house and proposed pool area and deck. This was a huge help in envisioning what we hoped to achieve. We discussed prices, options, etc. with absolutely no pressure to purchase. We decided on the spot to proceed with Maltese. Bob Maltese came out to do the precise measuring and marking off and he was personally involved throughout the project. Within three weeks the yard was excavated in one day and the installation crew showed up the very next day - - the hottest day of the New Jersey summer! It was amazing to see the swift, skillful progress throughout the day with the vinyl liner actually going in before day's end! Thanks to some large swaths of outdoor carpeting, we were able to use the pool almost immediately. About a month later (just a few weeks ago) after the ground had fully settled, another crew showed up and laid the concrete deck with "Kool Deck" finish (much cooler on the feet than plain concrete, even on the hottest summer day). The entire deck job was completed in two days. I am pleased indeed with the job that Bob Maltese orchestrated and oversaw. We were kept well informed as work progressed, the various crews were courteous and professional, and there were no hidden charges or financial surprises along the way.

APro Tech Pools Inc
Job went like clockwork. I purchased my new Loop Lock Cover through Pro Tech. I have in the past used them to replace my Pool Heater, Pool Liner, Pool Pump, and Pool Filter. they always do a solid job.

Pool pump died right before we went away in the middle of the hot summer when we were about to go away and our regular pool guy was going away too! Adrian was a godsend! He advised me what to get, where to get the pump the cheapest, and came in a couple of days to install it. If it wasn't for him, our pool would have gone black in a matter of days! So glad we found him and will definitely use him again.

Interpersonal communication problems are just the beginning of the awful way in which this business is run. They are disorganized and showed up at my house a day earlier than scheduled. Good thing I just happened to be home. Then, we experienced a nice dose of ageism from the technician as he literally laughed at my elderly father. We explained the problem (pump) and that everything else was working (like, the motor). We needed two parts replaced. One that we already purchased and one that S&R would provide (AT MORE THAN DOUBLE THE RETAIL PRICE). The next day the tech came back and rushed through the job and left. When we turned on pump it didn't work and tech said it had 'nothing to do with what he did.' I've rarely come across such careless, awful business practices - without ANY attempt to actually look at a problem and try to solve it. I asked for my check back and was told the tech no longer had it (really?) and so I had to cancel the check. Bad news, bad way to run a business, and everyone should stay away from S&R Pools.

They were willing to come out on a weekend on short notice, which was very important to us because our swimming pool had not been running for days and was going to be filled with algae if the pump wasn't fixed soon. They quickly repaired the valve and the price was very reasonable. We're very happy with the work.

AIsles Pool Service
I am in New Jersey and one of rental properties in FL had a pool pump fail (10 years old) with a new tenant that just moved in. Ofer from Isles Pool provided excellent “emergency” service and worked to keep the water in great shape while we decided (and I did lots of research) on the best replacement pump for my situation in balancing cost and energy savings. Ofer was extremely professional and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Isles Pools for regular weekly maintenance or emergency repair services. Ofer and Isles Pools clearly puts customer service and satisfaction first.

Pipe to pool pump was broken.  Crew came out and replaced section of pipe.  after repair, pipe continued to suck in air causing pump to lose prime after about an hour.  Joe came out to troubleshoot and by-passed a section of pipe to diagnose the problem.  Problem solved with bypass.  Filter cleaners came out and cleaned the filter on time.  I have initiated routine maintenance service.

Levco was extremely responsive. I called on a Wednesday and even during the busy pool opening season, they were able to come out and replace the pump on Saturday morning (we were originally scheduled for Friday, but the weather wasn't cooperating so I received a call letting me know that they wouldn't be able to come out until the next morning.) When they arrived, they attempted to fix the pump a couple of different ways and although in the end we did need to replace the pump, I appreciated that they tried to save us some $ and did not go straight to the quick (and more expensive) fix. Highly recommend.

AAll American Pool Service
This was a great experience. He spent a considerable amount of time educating us and letting us know what we needed to do. We ended up contracting him back to open and close our pool because we like him so much. The first time the owner came out and the next time he sent workers, they were all very professional.

APreferred Pool Inspections
Jeff from Preferred Pool Inspections was great. Very accommodating with regards to schedule. He was prompt and the insight he provided while inspecting the pool was very helpful. He provided a detail report on the deck and coping, pool filtration, circulation, electrical and safety devices.

COMPLETE BONEHEADS! Their work was so poor that I had to replace almost everything they did within one year. They installed equipment at inflated prices without my approval, the workmanship was so bad that there were electrical wire exposed and constant problems associated with their "fixes". The only thing they did well was overcharge for their miserable service. Unless you are in the mood for a beating, use someone else like LEVCO.
