Recent Review: The home I recently purchased had a gravel driveway and I wanted it paved. Greenough came out quickly, discussed what I wanted, took measurements and emailed a couple of quotes depending on which surface I wanted (asphalt vs tar and chip). I ended up selecting asphalt and then did a nice job on the installation. It turned out exactly as I had envisioned it. My house is on a hill and I was concerned about drainage but they did a good job of pitching the driveway so that water runs off properly. Overall I was pleased with the outcome and would hire them again.

Steve and his crew were excellent. Did an excellent job explaining what he was going to do and did it. Already plan to use them next year on another job.

FMorgan Construction Services L.L.C.
Marred freshly painted garage floor with rolling machine. Promised numerous times to reimburse the $120.00 to repaint but never did. Case was filed and won in small claims court and lien had to be placed on business for non payment. The job was not finished despite being paid in full. It took several calls and 2 months before a crew came back to finish driveway aprons grading. There were several bad spots in the driveway that broke down and had dirt coming up from below due to poor paving technique. Again, it took several phone calls with empty promises to return to correct this. Finally was done but some issues of low quality prep and application were ignored. I still have low areas that puddle after rain, numerous cracks, several areas where the asphalt is breaking away.

Terrible! These people are "driveway gypsies" that go door to door claiming to have asphalt leftover from a job, offering what seems a discount rate ($2/sq. ft). I specifically made certain that they really meant per SQUARE foot, not cubic, in other words a 10' x 10' section = 100 sq. ft. = $200, regardless of thickness. "Mike" heartily agreed, but when the dust settled they charged triple that amount, explaining that a square foot was 12 x 12 x 1, and that it was 3" deep! After all was done and said, we had a substandard blacktop driveway with multiple low spots and ripples that will not last. The number they gave goes to a voice mail that is never returned. They are not registered with the Schenectady County clerks office. BEWARE- DO NOT USE THESE CHEATS!

ADelisanti's Robb Asphalt Maintenance
The crew showed up scheduled and were done on time. Driveway was sorely in need of sealing. It looked great when they were done. They came back to check on the job to see if we were satisfied and noticed some dry spots. They planned to return to do a touch up, but the wet weather prevented this. We are going to have them come back again next year.

AWALL DRIVEWAY SVC
Did a terrific job as always. Edged everything nicely. They initially couldn't reach me on our old landline (eliminated it) so they stopped by the house early one morning to verify that we still wanted the service. Then they did the job right then and there - Nice job Walls!

This company was repairing several driveways in our town home subdivision. Ours was not scheduled, but we felt that it needed to be re-done, so we paid for it ourselves. The twins did a great job, were friendly and professional.

DLIVINGSTON ASPHALT SEALERS
My driveway is only about a dozen years old and gets sealed every two years. I tried Livingston Asphalt because they are local, but the job did not go well at all! Here is why ... First, the provider charges 50% more than what I've paid in the past, claiming a better product and two step process to fill in cracks. Provider then uses high school students who left many unfilled cracks during the crack filler process. The sealer then went on so thin that you could see the crack filler underneath it, and not fill in any missed cracks. Provider did not supervise work or even come back to inspect the work! I advised the provider of the above and he agreed to fix it. He sent the same students who according to my wife came back during the school day while on break. When I came home I found they still missed cracks, even after I outlined them with chalk. What's worse, weeks later the majority of the sealing job has cracked overall (probably because it went on so thin) and many of the and quot;filledand quot; cracks have opened up. I left a message for the provider, he never called back and the driveway looks worse than when they came! On top of this all, the provider uses the good Lord's name right on his letterhead with a quote from Psalms. Why? If my driveway survives the winter now I will have to pay someone else to come back and do it right. At this point I'm out $500 for this worthless job and I see a court action in the future if the provider does not make good on this. FShuttleworth Asphalt Sealing
Nightmare would be a great word for this. Originally asked for a specific date, weather permitting, since the tenants of the house were going to be away. Stated they would try, and would get back to me. No call, no show on that date. Then started calling me and asking to do that day, to which I told them I needed at least a day notice so that plans can be made to move cars, etc. Called 9/30 and requested to do it 10/1. I told them I thought it was going to rain, but they pretty much insisted on doing it. Coated driveway in the am, and by 5 pm it was pouring. The lower part of the driveway was fairly dry and was ok, but the top 3/4 of it had pools of sealer that splashed all over the 50'long concrete retaining walls on both sides of the driveway, the trim, garage doors and siding. As soon as I saw the damage on 10/2 I started calling them advising of the damage and asking for help. Initially I got the person in the office who said she would give them the message and they would get back to me. They never returned a call-EVER. They never even let me know what the product was so that I could advise property restoration people who were finally (after 10 days) hired to help resolve the damage. I even stopped in the office to leave a message in person. Nothing, other than the office person giving me lip service. The only response I ever got was when I hand delivered the estimate for repairs. He stated he would not pay it and would sue me for payment. I stated I would not be paying for the service not only due to the damage, but because much of the sealer had washed off, leaving the driveway in need of re-doing. He said he would not re-do, and I made it clear that he was right. He would never, ever do work for me or anyone I know.
