Recent Review: First one hose sprung a leak, shooting water into the air. I wrapped duct tape around it, got it slowed to a trickle, and thought maybe that would hold it until time to close the pool. Then a few days later the other hose sprung two leaks, so I got the SPS # from Angie's List and called. He said he'd come the next day around noon, and he did. He even called to tell me he was on the way, which I appreciated. He replaced the hoses quickly--didn't leave a mess--was friendly and professional. He's scheduled to close the pool in September.
Recent Review: Clover Home Leisure did great work at a phenomenal rate. The quality of workmanship is unsurpassed. The crew showed up right when they said they would and it only took them a day and a half to complete the work. We love our new pool and would recommend others use this service.

APETTIS POOLS & PATIO
Pettis was very helpful from start to finish. From the initial purchase of the pool and hot tub, they worked with us to custom install the pool and tub. Every person we interacted with was courteous, knowledgeable, and patient with our many questions. They were willing to collaborate with other professionals working with us, including a contractor and landscaper, to ensure our project was completed to its highest quality. Pettis remains willing to answer any questions or make visits to ensure we are satisfied.

Sal and his team did an excellent job. When I first contacted Sal he was eager to help and even coordinated the purchase of the new liner for our pool. Even though we were outside of his install area (about a 40 minute drive for him) he kept the price the same and didn't charge any fuel surcharges that we were getting from other installers. I ordered the liner over the phone at the place he recommended, he then picked up the liner for us and had it installed in less than a week. He and his team showed up while we were at work and had the entire job done before we got home. He left the worksite as clean and neat as he found it. Honestly, except for the new liner, you couldn't tell any work had been done! He even took the time to hook up the filter system for me at no additional charge. Sal is one of those "customer-first" guys. I would recommend him in an instant. Great job, great service! Thanks Sal.

AShea Electric, Inc
I was thoroughly pleased with the work Brian and his team did. He was very informative answering all my questions and very easy to work with when it came to scheduling the job. The day after the install the kids spent 5 hours in the 82* pool. I would recommend Shea Electric to anyone and will use them again in the future!

As soon as the pool was refilled, it was clear there was a significant leak in the water-return fitting. Multiple attempts were made to contact this contractor about the problem over a period of a few weeks, and there has been no response.

The install was perfect, the follow-up after was lacking. I was so furious we spent so much money and they did nothing to assist us.

APETTIS POOLS & PATIO
Pettis Pools was very knowledgeable. I was coached through the pros/cons of different pool pumps. In the end, I picked out a Hayes pump ($500). They were wise enough to ask me if I had all the necessary connections to mate the new pump to the existing piping. Salesperson/technician and quot;suggestedand quot; I get this part which I protested I didn't need but ended up buying. When I put it all together - it turns out the and quot;suggestedand quot; part was in-fact essential to mate to the piping. They saved me another aggravated-filled trip back to the store. During peak summer hours, it may be hard to get someone to give you their undivided attention due to the numbers of people coming into the store to buy chemicals, etc. But once you have their ear - they will follow through with you.

They came out the same day we called (my wife mentioned I had pulled my back and could not do it myself and that her lady's group was coming over within the week). Can't ask for better responsiveness then that! Bottom line ? friendly, hardworking guys that were responsiveness and very professional.

We agreed on digging the pool May 27, 2006, with 90% of the pool to be done within 3 weeks. He dug that day and did not return for 2 weeks. No phone calls, no communication. Once he decided to come back it took him until the end of June to install the liner. Once the liner was installed, we paid him in full for completing the pool. After the liner was installed and the pool was filled, we starting losing significant water. When he finally returned after several phone calls, he dug the stairs and swimout up to fix one of the leaks around the returns. We still lost water and started getting ground water and mud in our brand new pool. He asked us to drain the pool under the lights and he would test the seal around the lights at both ends for leaks. He did not come back for over 2 weeks...pool was filled with mud and we could not run the pumps. We were getting water under the liner and it started to stretch and lift out of the sides. We also had an issue with ground water getting behind the liner because the liner was stretching. We were almost into the end of July at this point. When he finally returned to fix the lights...it turned out he forgot to install the gaskets around the lights to give a seal. We filled the pool up, he put cleaner in the pool to get the mud out and we still were losing water. He decided to pressure test the lines to see if there was a leak in the pipes. He cut 6" out of our pipes that were coming in and out of the filter to test and did not come back. My husband fixed the pipes so we could run the pumps. We fired Alex and had to hire another company to pressure test the lines for us to find a leak. Turns out the lines were fine but that he installed the liner incorrectly and there was a significant hole by where he cut the stairs in and we were losing water there also. We did not get to use the pool for more than a total of 2 weeks that whole summer...When April 07' came, but husband tore the liner out, he had to saw cut the whole bottom of our pool to install pipes to remove ground water from getting behind the liner. We had to pay a mason to fix the concrete and had to pay the other company to reinstall a new liner. We had our liner installed in June 07' and after a successful summer and winter, we finally have the pool that we paid a lot of money for that was supposed to take 3 weeks to install. And we are filing a lawsuit against Alex to reimburse us for the money we spent to fix his mistakes. He was absolutely terrible and I pity the families that hire him in the future.
