East Amherst Room Soundproofing

Just awful. Supposed to do shower in 4 days and bedroom in 7. Took over 70 days and never finished. We have had to have another contractor rectify their improper shower installation, which cost us an additional $3K. We still have to install 3 new windows they broke and a door. Soundproofing does not work. Painting was mediocre. Felt like a scam. Complete lack of professionalism and lack of concern for rectifying the problems. Estimate was complete fallacy as numbers never added up. Ignored our wishes and decisions regularly. Rude and condescending to wife. Jeff Catrabone is a really slick con man. Will promise you the world and not deliver.

Once we agreed on the terms, Mike was a real pro. He accommodated our schedule, showed up on time everyday and did a great job. We are very pleased and will use his service again. He has a pleasant demeanor and is honest. The only difficulty we had was communicating exactly what we wanted and understanding what was included in the quote. Part of that was due to the fact that he was dealing with me and my fiancee so, there were some mis-communications  between us. Once we were on the same page Mike delivered what we expected, did a great job and there were no surprises. His pricing was very reasonable and we are very satisfied with the work. We highly recommend his services.

Their subcontractors were average. They had a painter come and I am not pleased with the job that he did. The ceiling was a reasonable price.

I had hired Ilya before for a small but urgent repair so I called him again. I had a bay window area with extensive ceiling and wall damage from ice dams after the 2015 snow that needed plaster repair to the dropped ceiling, drywall repair, preparation and painting. .  He did all the work very carefully and the results are perfect.  He masked and shielded the area so there was no dust.  He is courteous, punctual and very professional.  His company has a great reputation so you might have to wait a while but it is worth the wait.

Overall, I am pleased. Their drywall work is professional. DC Drywall was very courteous and polite. I would not hesitate to use again.

Tim and his son Seth did an amazing job.  I couldn't have asked for a better contractor.   I've used dozens of contractors over the years between my house and rental properties and I don't think I've met anyone that comes anywhere close to the quality of work they displayed.  They worked their butts off to please my wife and I (and get the job done quickly), were more than pleasant to work with and overly accommodating.  They also did a ton of little extras that were not in the contract, but did so to help out, from hanging a TV for me to touching up little scratches left by the carpet guy.  I'm already looking at booking them early 2014 to do more work around my house.  Top notch A+++

Awesome Jobs!! We are very satisfied with the works. It is excellent jobs that the Kitchen ceiling drywall is repaired/ painted/ sprayed very well, even with the popcorn ceiling. In addition, the master bedroom drywall is also repaired and painted. It is the excellent job as well. Thank you.

Petar did a great job. He’s very neat and thorough. His pricing is reasonable. I will have him do more painting for me. This is the second time he has painted for me.
