Recent Review: Paul spent time taking me through his proposal and explaining the process for removing the mold and sealing my basement walls. He checked a number of other areas in my house that I had questions about and was patient with my questions and very open and honest about what did and especially what did not need to be done. The team did a wonderful job and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. The basement looks great and is so much drier and more comfortable.

Recent Review: Removed additional concrete from the basement. Added a whole new special pipe, and waterproofed the basement. They left it open with easy access so should there every be a clog they can get to it to fix it. I would highly recommend them.

Recent Review: This is a superior company to work with.  Extremely professional, honest, and friendly to work with.  Neverwet came recommended to me by a friend last year when my basement was literally under water.  Neil the owner came out himself to do the estimate in hours of notice from my friend that I desperately needed help with the situation in my basement as soon as possible.  Neil saw the condition my basement was in and re-arranged his crew to work additional hours outside of the normal work day to get the work done that was required to keep my basement from further flooding.  My  basement was literally a swimming pool.  I've never seen this kind of work being done to jackhammer cement and literally carry hundreds  of buckets of cement from the basement to outdoors while still taking every step to keep my house as clean as possible even thought the work was the messiest type of work I've ever seen anyone have to do.  When they were finished with the job, they cleaned up after themselves and left my basement in a condition I had never seen it in before.  The walls were cleaned of the mold and nice white sheets of mold preventive plastic was put up, the cement floor looked brand new where they had to dig the holes to put all new tiles beneath the floor.  It was absolutely the best work I had ever seen completed in such a short time.  They did a fantastic job and I never had a water issue again, and their work comes with lifetime warranty.   My basement was dry and odor free.  1 year later I sold this home and bought another to which I knew going in I was going to have water issues in the basement.  The previous owners had another company come in and do work in the basement, however it was clear that what they did was not working as there was water on the floor and the wall blocks were soaked with water.  I knew I was voiding the warranty which came with the home from the other company, however I knew I was making a better decision by having Neverwet come in and do the work.  Again Neil and his team did an exemplary job again in a very short time frame as I had a move date already booked.   Neil helped with other issues which I had which went above and beyond the job he was hired to do.  He and his team take great pride in their work and in doing what ever is necessary to make the customer happy and stress free while the work is being done.   Now I have a basement in my new home that I don't feel is like a dungeon.  It's clean, dry, and odor free.  I've now used Neverwet twice in the last two years and I would highly without any hesitation recommend this company to everyone.  I wish that every company I've had to interface with over the years had the same integrity and professionalism that Neil and his team bring to the table when getting a job done.  It would make the life of a consumer much easier when trying to get work done correctly, on time, and worry free.  Hire Neverwet, you will not regret it!!!

Recent Review: See review 2015 for part one of story. I found I stilled worried about water in the basement crawl space even though there was a big improvement with the 2015 fixes. So I called Tim again and talked about options. Since the full size part of the basement didn't seem to have any water problems we left that alone and concentrated on the crawl space. His crew punched holes along the bottom of the walls to let water flow out. They draped the holes to direct the water flow into a pipe that took the water to the sump pump. They sprayed the walls to kill any mold that had formed and draped them with a material that made them look better. They also covered the pipe with concrete. The crew was wonderful, Brandon in particular. They worked hard in very uncomfortable circumstances (hard pebbly floor surface, 3 ft height, and huge spiders). At the same time, they sprayed foam into the space between the rafters along the outside of the wall (no more huge spiders) to insulate. To prevent future problems they reinforced my back basement wall to prevent the horizontal crack at the freeze line from becoming bigger. I am thrilled with the results. Besides the bonus of being spider free, I have no water in my crawl space, ever. I can hear the sump pump working nonstop during heavy rains and big snow melts. I didn't know I had bought in a high water table area and that basement water was a common problem in the area. You sure can't tell by my basement any more.

Recent Review: The B Sure team did a great job on my basement and dried it right up. I was happy with everything they did and their friendly attitude. I don’t normally write reviews, but I was impressed with the level of service that I reviewed for the money. Be careful as some companies out there are not even local; they hire temps that will be in your house! I found out that B Sure is an honest local, family-run business, with real employees (not temps). A+

CHis and Hers Fix Its, A Division of Reno-Build Services
Not thrilled with services. Both individuals were very friendly which made it more difficult to try to get things done right. Always felt like it was a 'do it the cheapest & quickest way possible.' Didn't balance ceiling fans; Cobb job replacing heat grate. Wanted to do only 1 coat of paint instead of 2. Never knew if they were being honest about the work being done or making up "alternative facts."

DMcConnell Basement Waterproofing
McConnell Basement Waterproofing first gave me a rate and then later on brought it down by a lot. They use sodium bentonite injections around the outside of the house and there is no real way to know if they got the spots where they are trying to get the water at. It is kind of blindly injecting so if you can't see it, how are you fixing it. I later found out that this is not approved by HUD. They guy stayed here for 2 hours arguing about the thing and I didn't like that. I was really unusure about the procedure and called and cancelled it and then he showed up to try and and push it. I had paid them USD 100 which I haven't gotten back yet. I don't think the price is worth it for what you are getting.

The entire crew was excellent. Neat and hardworking. Everything went smoothly, and all details were explained. The job was done on the timeframe promised. They were meticulous with the cleanup. This was a professional job and the employees were very courteous. This is a messy job and you would never believe how fantastic it looked when it was finished. The warranty was explained in detail. They gave me references in my area that I did verify and everyone was very pleased with the work and now so am I.

BBasement Waterproofing Inc
I spoke with three other basement waterproofing companies and did a ton of online research before deciding to go with Basement Waterproofing, Inc.. The salesperson was knowledgeable about the traditional ways of waterproofing basements (typically some version of a "french drain"). He was also thorough about what his company could offer and he was able to answer my questions without giving a two-hour presentation like some of the other companies. The reasons that I chose Basement Waterproofing Inc. were #1-They had, by far, the best guarantee. Basement Waterproofing, Inc. will service any water seepage in the basement walls or floor at no additional cost to the customer at any time for the full life of the structure. #2-In combination with a french drain, they offered a sodium bentonite clay injection around the outside of my basement. No other company offered both of these options. #3-The price was comparable to other companies simply installing a french drain. #4-They included a Humidex dehumidifier in the price. For those who are unfamiliar with what a sodium bentonite injection is, here is part of its description from New York's BBB: This type of treatment does not require excavation. Instead, sodium bentonite or another substance--sold under a variety of tradenames--is injected into the space between the soil mass and the basement wall. It swells to many times its dry volume when it is first put into slurry form. The slurry will tend to penetrate and plug cracks where water might also find a path to the basement interior, thus reducing the flow of water. The type of soil and the skill of the person directing or performing the injection operation has a strong bearing on the success of this method to correct basement wetness. Certain chemicals, such as salt, will tend to prevent the effectiveness of the sodium bentonite, and undetected underground barriers (such as rock or wood) can seriously impair the effective use of this method. Anyways, I was able to schedule the sodium bentonite injection for a few days later. That went smoothly and I was told that it would take 30-45 days for the injection to expand and waterproof my basement. A week or two after that, the company's President, James, installed the Humidex dehumidifier. The dehumidifier is very impressive. It is quiet and requires no maintenance. James was friendly, knowledgeable and wanted to make sure that I was happy with all of the work being done. At the time, the sodium bentonite injection hadn't had time to expand but there had been very little rain so there wasn't much water in the basement. I was definitely happy with my decision to go with Basement Waterproofing Inc.. At that time James told me his company would install a french drain at no extra cost just to be sure my basement would always stay dry. I was extremely impressed. Over the next few months it rained a lot and my basement was wet. I was frustrated that I couldn't get an appointment for the french drain installation earlier than the end of August but it is understandable that a basement waterproofing company would be busy during that time of the year. The french drain was installed at the end of August. The workers did a wonderful job and cleaned up perfectly. My basement floors have been bone dry ever since. After a few more rainy days I noticed wet spots on a few of my walls. Nothing major, just some wet spots. I made an appointment for James to come to my house to assess the situation. James and I will be setting up an appointment for Basement Waterproofing inc. to inject more sodium bentonite in the trouble spots and to add dirt along the foundation outside my house to increase the grade, redirecting rainwater away from my house and outside the perimeter of the sodium bentonite injections. He will also be drilling into a few of the blocks to get the walls completely dry. All of this will be done at no extra cost even though the contract doesn't cover increasing the grade of the land around the basement foundation. If all goes well, I plan to improve the rating for my basement waterproofing to an 'A.' James has been very knowledgeable and willing to do whatever it takes to get my basement dry. Basement Waterproofing Inc. takes their customer satisfaction very seriously and I'm happy I've done business with them.

AAffordable Solutions by Brian
Brian was very prompt providing an estimate, and was very upfront explaining it might be 2-3 months before his schedule would be open. We were pleased that his crew was able to perform the work earlier than expected due to a weather delay encountered on another project. Brian also recommended some corrective action we could take on our own that proved to be very effective (regrading soil level). Brian's crew treated our basement wall to kill existing mold, scraped the walls to remove old, loose parge, and applied new parge to resolve some puddling we were seeing along one wall. Unfortunately the new parge coat began peeling in some areas after about one month. Brian was extremely responsive when we reported the problem. The crew came back within a couple days and removed the loose parge and offered to reapply it. We elected instead to have the walls painted. The corrective work was done at no additional cost, and we are happy with the outcome. The crew also replaced an exterior storm door for $600. Brian and crew were extremely prompt and professional, and left the work site cleaner than when they arrived.

Brian gave excellent advice on how to do all the maintenance work with the foundation myself and adding a dehumidifier instead of spending 10-20 thousand on waterproofing a basement that didn't need waterproofing. I highly recommend Brian as he is very honest and told me to call any time for more advice on any job free of cost.

We have been working on this for a couple of years. They are experts in their field. The man who runs it is called James. He is remarkable. He is a trustworthy, confident man. He has a girl in the office, who is very good. I believe her name is Linda. They are totally dependable. He is busy and he is not the fastest, this is because he is so busy. If I had any more problems I would not hesitate to call him again.
