Recent Review: They were very good.  We were having difficulty finding someone that could deal with the hardness of our water and they said that their system would handle it.  We have been here for twenty years and that last year has been the first of those twenty that we have been able to drink the water.  The water actually tastes good.  I wrote them a letter and told them they were impressive, I never write anybody letters.  I don't have anything to compare the price to.  They were here when they said they would be.

Recent Review: Dave Garlock is honest, attentive to your needs and is an expert when it comes to dealing with the issues that arise with well water. He assessed our situation by asking questions about the problems we were having and took the time to actually listen to our answers. He didn't come looking to sell us a pre-packaged, one size fits all solution. Instead, he designed a solution to specifically address the problems we were having. More importantly, his design was affordable, scalable and adaptable should we need to add something to address future problems. His workmanship is superb. The lines and tanks were meticulously installed and everything is neatly dressed. On the rare occasion we have had a minor issue, he responds instantly. He always makes sure to check with us once per year to make sure the system and its components are functioning properly. He has been maintaining and servicing our system since he installed it in 2011. The bottom line is that what he installed WORKS flawlessly. The solution he designed and installed did exactly what he said it would. We highly recommend Dave Garlock and CNY Water Warehouse

Recent Review: I had originally contacted Plumb-it-Right via email.  2 weeks later, no response.  I called them.  A woman in the office made an appointment and the plumbers showed up at the time they were supposed to.  I chose Plumb-it-Right because they were the plumbers who installed my hot water heater from Sears (installation was included.)  This time around, they sent out two plumbers.  No problem there.  The issue I have with Plumb-it-Right has nothing to do with the two plumbers (both of which were highly professional in their demeanor and plumbing skills.)  The problem I have is with the final bill.  The plumbers stayed for 2 hours.  At $85 an hour each, that's only $340.  The amount of supplies they used was minimal, considering I supplied the install kit and the water softener.  They supplied the sump pump (a top of the line sump pump is about $200.)  The way I got the bill was like this;  plumber A calls his boss and describes the work that was done.  the boss tells him the total...$788.00.  If the plumbers hourly charge is a total of $340 plus the sump pump of $200, even if a house call charge of $100 and a distance charge of $50 were thrown in it doesn't come to $788.  Maybe tax?  I don't know.  It was just shocking when I was presented with the bill, which was not itemized. These guys were on time and highly professional.  Did the job and did it well.  It's unfortunate that their billing is done in a way that keeps you guessing for days afterward.  Also, I asked for an estimate for a bathroom remodel.  I'm still waiting for the estimate more than two weeks later.  That's why I have chosen a different contractor to do the work.

Recent Review: It was put in and it worked ok. Husband asked how to winterize it. He told us to just close up your camp the way you normally do. So we did just as he said. Come spring, we didn't have great pressure , and it continually got worse. We called another company thinking it was our water pump on our well. That gentleman said that our pump was old, but it was still ok. We had him put a new one in anyways. As soon as he turned the water on, we had resin coming out of all of our faucets. Horrible mess. He wanted to see our water softener, and when he saw it, he knew what the problem was. The water Guy put in tanks that were for a year round home, not a camp which is closed in the winter. There are no drainage tubes on the tanks. So water was still in there that froze during the winter, cracking the tubes inside them. We paid 3 thousand for it, and they were ruined. We called the water guy, Joe Scaracini and he came over it look at it. Told us to blow out the pipes to see if that would make it better. If it didn't , then he would come back. My husband did what he was asked, which didn't help. We called Joe back, but he wouldn't answer our calls. Called him off and on for two weeks. Still nothing!!! I don't know what to do. How can I get my money back?

Recent Review: As the first delivery date for the softener salt came and went, we were forced to call Culligan to request delivery of our "automatic" softener salt delivery. The delivery was subsequently not made on the agreed upon day in spite of the appointment made and having waited around all day for the delivery. Instead it was delivered the following day while I was away from home. I found that the bags were simply left on the sidewall of the driveway. While I was happy to finally receive the salt, I was disappointed that the delivery was not made on the appointed day and that I was forced to lug the bags down the basement stairs and into the water softener myself. My husband and I enrolled in this program mostly for the salt delivery service and were incredibly disappointed that this service was so poor. Then, to add insult to injury, we were charged for the bags of salt on the next month's invoice in spite of the fact that the salt was supposed to be part of the monthly fee. Multiple phone calls were made to attempt to rectify these problems, but we were continually given the run around with various "departments" and promised refunds that never materialized. All the while, they continued to withdraw our monthly fee from our bank account. Finally, we were compelled to threaten legal action and contact our bank to cut off their access to our bank account to force Culligan to cancel our two year contract. We are still receiving invoices from them claiming that our payment is past due. I would suggest that Culligan has behaved in an unprofessional and unethical manner.

During Sept/Oct of 2012, David Garlock of CNY Water Warehouse made repeated visits to the home of my very elderly parents to resolve a longtime problem with their water, in both quality and supply.  He corrected the problems promptly, and now my parents have plenty of water and it tastes and smells much better.  After dealing with Dave on this situation, I found him to be professional and very knowledgeable about all things water. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave Garlock to anyone in need of installation or service of their water system.  His prices were quite a lot lower than the other company I checked,  and it was reassuring to deal directly with someone on such a personal level.

Dave Garlock is a courteous, trustworthy and highly professional well water expert. He spent time analyzing our situation and asking us questions about the issues we were having with our well water; including what time of year we noticed the issues, how long they would last, etc. Most companies want to sell you a pre-packaged, "one-size fits all" solution that may or may not address the issues you are having with your water.  Instead, Dave Garlock listened us, assessed our needs, and designed and installed an affordable, scalable solution that is flexible enough to serve us or any future owner of the home for years to come. Most importantly, THE SYSTEM WORKS!   It is easy and inexpensive to maintain. Our water is clean, silky soft, crystal clear, and free of any odors. Plus, our plumbing fixtures are now free of any residue and hard water scaling and buildup. Dave's workmanship is meticulous. The tanks, hoses and water lines are all expertly installed and neatly dressed. He takes pride in his work and proudly stands behind it. He installed our system in 2011, and every year since then, Dave makes it a point to check with us to ensure the system is operating properly and to perform any maintenance that may be needed. When Dave Garlock proposes a system for your home, you can be confident he is not selling you something you don't need. You can also be sure that he will stand behind his work and solve your well water problems. We highly recommend Dave Garlock and CNY Water Warehouse!

Dave was great. Very responsive. He came quickly when my pump quit working. He assessed the situation and got me up and running. Given the age of the system I decided to replace it with new equipment. The work was done in a timely manner. Everything was done as estimated and discussed. Very pleased with the service.
