Recent Review: They did a great job.  They used ice and water shield where needed, including valleys.  All flashing was done correctly. New roof looks great.  We've had plenty of rain since the job and no leaks. Jimmy (the owner) quoted the job promptly, scheduled the approximate date and the work was done on time.  We had a couple of rain days during the work and they took care to protect the parts of the roof where the old shingles were removed, so I wouldn't have any water damage.  The work crew (which always included Jimmy) were a bunch of nice guys and they knew what they were doing.  It was always easy dealing with Jimmy and any questions I had.  All debris and tools were cleaned up at the end of each day. I was very happy with the job and the professionalism of DiFulvio Construction.

Recent Review: Very well. The roof looks great and performed great until about a year later. A small leak appeared at the skylight. He came and not only resealed between the skylight and the shingles, he also put new sealant on the skylight itself, though he had no obligation to do that. It's been perfect ever since.

Recent Review: Ron Jones came to do the estimate when he said he would, returned every phone call, brought the proposal exactly when he said he would, and came to do the job promptly. He kept his word! He had a good system for keeping the old roofing mess contained, and his workers picked up around the house despite some nuisance juniper bushes. The job was completed in three days (if that), and best of all the roof has done a perfect job of keeping out every bit of moisture--a huge relief during the rains this past year as well as all the snow. This was the first winter we didn't get huge icicles hanging off the eaves troughs! And, too, the roof looks great; Ron Jones was very patient with us early on in the process when we debated over colors and roof shingle companies. In our case he did excellent work at the most reasonable price. When he left, he said that he'd come back "anytime" to fix whatever might need fixing on the roof should there be a problem. He kept his word on that, too, returning to fix a tiny problem with one of the gutters. He's honest and trustworthy and a great roofer. If we had another roof to fix, we'd hire him in a minute.

Recent Review: Estimated time for project was one week. Actual time was 8 working days. Company used young inexperienced labor, resulting in damage to my home from falling shingles (old) during tear-off, torn window screens (6) and debris left on the ground. After my complaint on day 1, he nailed large blue tarps up (left the nails in). The work seems to have been done correctly (only time will tell?). However, expect to perform your own final clean-up and picking up of many (30+) nails.

Recent Review: The arrived after we left for work each day, but were there everyday that they said they would be- including weekends. The job took a week longer than they expected, but it was because of the condition of the underlayment of the materials they couldn't see, so we don't think they should be faulted for it. Their prices were in line with the other companies that we received quotes for. Clean up wasn't always the same day as the demo, but we weren't expecting that to happen. When you have work done in or around your home you have to expect it to be in some sort of demo process that leaves you unable to use some parts of the house/yard. The workers were friendly and knowledgeable about what they were doing. If they had questions about any part of the job they checked with us first. I have no reservations about the quality of their work would hire them again.

FJ&R Roof Restoration
My uncle's house needed a whole roof replacement. Their estimation was $19,200. I paid them $9,600 on 8/21/18 and was the 4th customer on the waiting list. They started the replacement on Monday 10/22/18. The same day I paid them rest of $9,600. They removed existing asphalt shingle and left all the works on Thursday. There was a terrible leaking due to their negligence. The terrible leaking destroyed my tenant's furnitures and television. They called code last week. The roofer never came back. Today is 11/13/2018!!!!

Called them last night - they were here by 8:15 this morning and on the roof before I could answer the door. Jimmy explained what and where the shingles came off - and how they were replacing them to insure it wouldn't happen again. Also found out that they do all kinds of home improvements (they sub-contract out plumbing and electric). Have other things I am going to contact them for. I couldn't ask for better service.

Everything he said he would do he did.  When the job would start ,How quick it would be done.  That he would put a large crew on just to make sure everything would be done in one day because of the possibility  of  in-climate weather.  .He was punctual as to the time he was  coming to size up the job and give me a price. He explained in detail why he was going to be higher for the job then a previous roofers price as he was going to add additional things such as a way to stop ice buildup He accepted VISA which is important to me as it gives me travel points (and now that I am disabled the only way to earn vacations) as well as an additional 20 days before I had to come up with the cash to pay it off..Not only would I hire him again I would recommend him for others. As a  previous owner of a business it was very important to me to keep my word and that as far as I was concerned while I had to make a profit but I never did it off the back of one customer . I believe he acts the same way.    it was important to me that I kept my word and that as far as I was concerned the expression the customer was always right not just a saying  but the axiom of how to run a business. He obliviously feels the same way.

A    Very pleased with work done. They were quick to come out to scope out job, and had a detailed proposal withing a week or so. unt of water to come though roof and discolored a smsll patch in ceiling which they repainted immediatelyBecause they are a sought after company they let me know it would be 2-3 months before they could do the roof work and that weather would be a factor in scheduling as rain delays them which it did that summer.Once they started they had a large group who worked steadily and competently to get it done. they also kept the work site clean and organized within reason for the nature of work involved tearing old shingles off which can make a mess. Had to do some carpentry work on siding and fixing some poor slopes for drainage from snow buildup whcih they took time doing it right to correct past problems for future. They assigned a large work force to do the work and kept at it for 3-4 days starting early and working late to get it done. had a heavy rain storm come though during job which allowed a minor amount of water to come though the roof in spite of tarps placed over roof which created a small discolored patch in kitchen ceiling. They repainted this immediately the next day after it dried out. I would recommend this company to others based on reasonable price for work and excellent quality of workmanship

AGargas Roofing and Construction Inc
Mark Gargas was very flexible in planning the project. He changed his original thinking about the type of roofing nails to use and the placement of the SmartVents when presented with facts and figures. Another contractor stated that it was New Jersey State law that a roofing project must be accompanied by installation of new gutters. Mark was comfortable with leaving the old functional gutters in place. The estimate was the lowest of 6. This was the only company that provided proof of insurance for general liability and workers' compensation. A crew of 3 roofers and 2 assistants worked from 8:30 to 4:00 and finished the same day. Landscaping was protected by tarps. Good cleanup with a magnetic sweep for loose nails. A dump truck, not a dumpster, was used for the debris. A common practice in the North East is for contractors to keep unused shingles which had been paid for by the homeowner. 3 bundles were requested and kept for future repairs. A portion of a corner gutter was damaged by the shingle transporter. The gutter was repaired the following morning. A shingle remained buckled and would not lie flat with the summer heat. The shingle was repaired last week after an email to Kathy, who is the office secretary.
