Recent Review: Everything went as expected. I couldn't have been happier with the work. They tore out the existing driveway widened it, put down an 8 inch base of gravel, brought in top soil and neatly graded off the side of the driveway next to where they expanded. They let the gravel sit for about week and a half to settle and if there were any low spots when they returned they would correct prior to putting the asphalt down. It was ok to park on the gravel. When they returned there were no low spots to correct and they put down 4 - 5 inches of road grade asphalt. It has been 6 years since the work was completed and I have had no cracking or sinking when we park our vehicles. Price was great and workmanship was second to none!

AMJS Excavation
Working with Michelle and Jay at MJS Excavation was very refreshing. They are a family-run business that takes a lot of pride in their work and they won't stop until they know you're happy. They excavated an area of our backyard for a hot tub, leveled it, prepared it with pretty pea stone, and built a very nice retaining wall around it that was way nicer than what we imagined. They also leveled out the rest of our backyard lawn, which had a lot of uneven areas. We are very happy to have found this company and highly recommend MJS!

ATROY'S LANDSCAPE SUPPLY
Mike worked with me to be sure I was getting the correct amount of stone for my project and was very quick to return my calls. We looked through all the options available at their yard and made sure the products we purchased would both fix our issue and be within my budget. All the delivery drivers were friendly and prompt.

AFoothills Tree Service
Vince and his crew were punctual, professional, courteous, and all around good guys. They were also priced great. They really do go above and beyond for their clients. Don't hesitate for a second to hire them. I am sure I will be using Foothills Tree Service again in the future.

DLegend Lawn Svc
I'm not happy about them. The job that they did in my project is something that they might not have total experience doing. They ended up having two different guys handling the job. One guy said he would do this and then, later on, he didn't have time and asked the other guy to complete the work. The other guy didn't do it the way this guy said. I argued but to no avail. The quality of work was what I regarded as substandard. I asked the guy not to complete it and I ended up completing some of the work myself. The practice they followed, from my understanding, was not a good practice in getting such work done, in terms of order and how it's done and so on. I would tell friends or family not to use this company. They may be able to do other types of simple work like lawn mowing. I don't think they're capable of something more complicated or that they have the experience or skill to do it.

DLabor Ready Inc
I used Labor Ready at the suggestion of a friend in the construction industry.  They seemed to specialize in providing additional labor for construction projects.  I was in need of a laborer who could do digging and shoveling. I had asked for one laborer for 8 hours and two showed up at 8:15 in one car.  When I said I was only looking for one person, they said the office had sent both.  I called the office and they said there was a misunderstanding in the order, could I use both and get done quicker. I agreed to let both work thinking it would go faster with two shoveling.  It turned out one of the labors did not know how to shovel or handle a wheelbarrow.  At 9:00 it was apparent the second laborer was slowing down the first so I called the office to tell them to come for the non-worker. They came at 10 with a replacement who said he was a good laborer and could handle the shoveling and wheelbarrow.  We restarted the work and the replacement was more qualified but really did not know how to shovel and neither of them could use a pick axe to work the hard clay soil. I ended up doing all the pick axe work when it became apparent that we were not going to finish in 8 hours.  We finished at 4:00.  They insisted that I fill in 8 hours work as "the lunch 1/2 hour is charged as working time". I was not in a mood to argue so I signed the time sheet and they left. I had used Labor Ready as they said their workers were trained and used to shoveling.  They also just charge a fixed $24.99/hour which was reasonable.  Next time I will use somebody else as I ended up paying $50/hour for the two that did less work than one skilled laborer.

ALewis Lawn Care & Masonry, LLC.
Brad has good working knowledge of masonry jobs. I hired his company in July 2013 to removed the trees and clean up my back yard, which was very hilly. He did a good job on that project so I hired him again to grade my back yard including removal of 6 old concrete window sills, grading and level the ground, pour 4 sonic tubes to support the stair case of the deck, and pour gravel and asphalt to provide a nice driveway. I am very happy with the work. Brad is very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely hire him again.

ADelanson Gardens
Doug and the boys at Delanson did a great job on my driveway and the structure of a small pea gravel patio. Doug answered my initial call immediately. We then met to discuss the projects , set a price and a start date. The outcome was perfect . Clean up left my property almost in better shape than it was found before the project began. Doug’s team were hardworking and very respectful of my property. Doug is not just the boss/owner, but he picks up a shovel and makes material deliveries to keep the project rolling and timely. He used emails for some of his communications, which I found to be succinct and professional. We did a final walk through after completion; life is good. You owe it to yourself and your property to meet Doug. It will be time well spent.
