Business Description: I am a home maintenance company and I have been in business since 2007. I pride myself on being honest and dependable and I take pride in my work. I do not believe in creating more of a problem for my customer than they have or leaving my mess behind. If I can't do the job, I tell my customer up front and recommend another honest, dependable contractor. I do use subcontractors - BUT I am always on the job and I only use those who I have done business with for many years. I offer free estimates, but I do charge for written estimates. Business Description: We are a full service construction company that operates year - round. There is no job too small or too large for our team of quality craftsmen. We give free estimates and do all project work by contract. All service and maintenance work is invoiced, so you'll always have an explanation of the work that was performed. Warrantees vary from 1 year labor to 40 year manufacturer, depending upon the work being done and you can rest assured that the job will be done on time, on budget in most cases. We only use sub - contractors where job specific licensing like plumbing is required.

Recent Review: D.G. Contracting (David Gardner) failed to complete any of the contracted tasks without some problem. There was paint on rugs and furniture. Repaired ceilings looked exactly like repaired ceilings. No trim nor caulking was done on most windows. One cellar window had gaps at the side you could stick your hand through. The worst was the regrouting of tub/shower. Epoxy grout was used. Due to inadequate removal of old grout the new grout lapped over the sides of the tiles. In some spots the new grout did not cover the old. A haze of epoxy grout was left on the tiles. There was grout dried on the bathroom floor, entry hall and outside on a fence. Scratches were put in bath tub. As a result another contractor had to gut the bathroom and completely redo the room.

Good quality work & creative solutions at a reasonable price. The ceiling took a long time to get final finish because of his schedule. Changing lighting conditions revealed more spots to touch up, but he came back & fixed it all with excellent results. He has a broad range of skills, more than we have used so far.

,Dan is a very nice man and very easy to get along with  and  does  very good work. I did ask  him if he could return  when  he had time in between jobs to finish up the rest of  my work, his answer was NO. AS & H CONTRACTORS INC
When we arrived home and found the damage to the new dining room ceiling from a leak, we were very upset and didn't want to contact the contractor that "repaired" previously.  As we pondered what to do, a friend referred this contractor.  Once contacted, via cell phone, he returned call shortly thereafter.  The situation was explained to him and he came to the house to access the situation.  He provided a quote and the next day we decided to have him work on this.  Communication between contractor and customer (us) was excellent.  Contractor readjusted his scheduled due to the situation being more important to repair than the job he was scheduled to do.  Once completed the initial repair, he told us to keep him posted.  The next day he returned to complete the job and advised us that he guarantees his work and to contact him if anything was to happen.  He installed a toilet in the unit which is working great. We are very pleased with contractor's work and found him to be very personable, supportive and explained in detail what he suspected and steps he was taking to fix the damage.  It was nice to know that we took priority over something else work related but also he showed on a Sunday to finish the job and make sure we were satisfied with service.

I was having trouble with leaking from my bathtub kit down into the basement that was ruining the wall board. Unrelated to this problem my wife had contracted to have new carpeting installed in 3 rooms. The man and his son that installed the carpeting did an excellent job. In talking to the man he explained that he contracted with the store that sold the carpeting, but he could also do general improvement projects. My wife and I decided to have the bathtub completely taken out and replaced with a full size walk-in shower that concentrated on safety for older people as we are starting to move through our 60's. Dan Meyers, the home improvement contractor agreed to meet us at the local lumber store that also featured bath room features. He also brought his wife to help counsel us. Because our bathroom looked so cheap they were helping us look at the low end. But then we made a decision on a $1500 oak vanity set and mirror, then moved on to faucet and light sets. We all came to understand that what we really wanted. The final cost of material was about $3500 dollars. He quoted 3200 for the labor. The more we saw of his work and the quality of it, we began to ask for other things like new doors for the linen closet that match the new vanity and then a room door that matched also, and then molding. The final job certainly accomplish the initial project of replacing the leaking tub set, but the craftsmanship of him and his son's work was so excellent I feel like we should do our entertaining in the bathroom. The cost of the project was not cheap, but fair. I would highly recommend Dan Meyers for home improvement projects.

All the jobs went smoothly. We had to trust him because we were not there for much of the work and communicated by text, phone and email. He made sure that he understood what we wanted and when I sent him photos he was quick to communicate and offer good suggestions. The only delays were due to weather which can't be helped. We highly recommend Joe Payne to do any kind of contracting work as he is creative and hard working and appears to be a man of integrity.

AHome Repair Co
We are a military family that moved and still had our house on the market. Since we were not in the area it was extremely hard to trust anyone with making repairs on our house and have them done to our standards. From day one when I called the owner I talked directly to him and he made me feel comfortable having them do the repairs. Since we were in a hurry to have these repairs done because of the closing date on our house, the owner sent 2 of his men to start working the next day and they completed the repairs I had listed within 48 hours. This company did not throw a huge estimate at me or charge me extra to have it done fast, instead he charged by man hours and by actual cost of material. He not only did the repairs fast, but did the work right. They sent me before and after photos and I am very happy with the job that they did and have recommended him to all of our friends still in Clarksville. They are extremely knowledgeable, and trustworthy.
