Recent Review: The service was okay. The install took a little time. I felt that what was advertised, and what I received wasn’t exactly what I ordered. I think I should’ve been given the choice if I wanted that product, or if I wanted something different. They workers were professional, and they worked as long as they could to finish the job. I would recommend them to others
Recent Review: I was searching for a cheaper alternative to home security monitoring. My family and I are on a tight budget, and we could not afford the steep charges from Suddenlink and other local home security providers for their systems. The two things causing the services to be so expensive were: (a) the cost of the monthly phone service we would need, since we don't have home phone service, and (b) the cost of the monitoring itself. We would had to pay about $80 a month, or more with these traditional companies! Thankfully I found NextAlarm after some careful googling. They are a fraction of the price of any of their competitors. Their system appeals to me, because it uses the internet rather than a phone line, saving lots of money. Their monitoring itself (done in the traditional way, with real people in a dispatch office) is also substantially cheaper on top of that. I paid $250 for the home security kit and now I only pay $13.50 per month for the monitoring! Its so cheap that the costs are literally offset entirely by the savings to my homeowner's insurance premium. The support staff at NextAlarm are great. They are so patient, and they will help you with anything related to your system. I have called them numerous times with little questions about this or that, and they are always super nice and knowledgable. They even walk you through how to make changes to your security system, step-by-step, when you want to change delay or change the programs. Please make note of the fact that they do not have a local installer to do the installation. The third-party vendor who offers an and quot;Instal cardand quot; will not be able to install your service in East Texas (they will refund your money once they see where you need the installation). Point being, you will need to hire a local handyman to install the home security system for you. As I already mentioned, I used Stephan du Toit -- (www.facebook.com/professionalhandymanservices). He charged my $60. Besides that little hiccup, NextAlarm is amazing. In summary, I love my service. I hope more people in my area sign up with them. It is such a great deal and they're so great!
Recent Review: Everything went great. I got the system a few days later and started to install it. All the devices were easy to put up all told it took about 45 minutes to get up and running. During the install I set the alarm off and Getsafe called me right away. I like the way it looks in my home and by that I mean I hardly notice it is there. I like being able to control the system from my phone and being able to check on my house with the camera when I am away.
Recent Review: It started with the name Pinnacle. It started going downhill maybe when somebody else bought it. My husband picked them. He had a cold call and then he went with it. I think we had another system at that time.

We were using ADT & they came in & placed equipment where it should be. With this we had to install everything ourselves - which we knew and they told us that. The people were very nice to deal with and I feel bad it didn't work out. It wasn't as easy we thought it would be - we're not that handy.

The Sales person was prompt and explained all the different schemes. We got the security system installed in less than a week. We have been using them for more than 3 months and we are very happy with their customer service. We usually get a call within 5 min in case there is a false alarm.

CVector Security - Poughkeepsie
When the company was owned by Mr. Hammond, it was great. A person always answered the phone with the first or second ring. There was a real sense that there was a local person available in a time of emergency. Since the acquisition by Vector, the company has become corporate. There is a call center in PA. More often than not, the call goes right to a recorded message to hold for the next representative. The staff are still very responsive, albeit once they are on the line. However, the staff is very far away. One of my favorite things about a local call center was the remote temperature and electricity monitoring. When we were not home and there was a snowstorm, hurricane, flood, etc, the representative knew about it. If we are the only family without electricity in our region, then that creates an entirely different dilemma for us as the homeowner. Most importantly, I find that Vector uses deceptive contracts. This is a common corporate trick, but is still reprehensible. The acknowledgement sheet that you are handed when repairs and servicing have been done is now a contract that locks you in for FIVE years. It took three readings for me to spot the wording: I am not talking about an obvious lock in contract. This is disgusting behavior and thoroughly tainted my impression of how these people do business. Overall, I would avoid them. They are corporate rats.

They are excellent. They are very reliable, they have an excellent product, and they are very sensitive to peoples? needs. We already have the secruity system and this is just an added feature that we had installed so we didn't shop around. We highly recommend them.

the call was very informative. monthly payment is only $44 per month. security system will have to be installed ourselves with the help of speaking with representatives via phone when ready to install.

CRest Assured Alarm System Inc
The installation was fine and the system appears to work okay, although the only time it has gone off, is when my wife or I have inadvertently set it off. I am writing this because we are selling our house. In December 2012 we paid $321 in advance for our second year of monitoring. We are closing on the house at the end of this month and when I called to inform them of my departure, they informed me that "they do not give reimbursements". Frankly, I don't know if this is true of other alarm companies, but it has certainly put a bad taste in my mouth for Rest Assured. Rest assure, they will not give you a refund.

I loved the Hammond family and am extremely disappointed that they sold their business to Vector security. I used Haammond for years and did not want to be serviced by a huge national company that sees it clients as dollar signs. I do not know where to go now.
