Recent Review: They were very dependable and eager to please. Very friendly, punctual and trustworthy. They wanted to make sure the popcorn ceiling came out right so they actually did it about three times with different materials. He also tried it out on the ceiling in the garage as to not mess up the living room ceiling. They also did some drywall, insulation replacement and painting in the upstairs. It looks pretty good. They were very helpful and had plenty of suggestions. They were very neat and clean. They also took my old screens (which are an odd size) to have them replaced for me. They had a roofer come out to reseal around my skylights to make sure that it was taken care of properly. Their rates were very reasonable. We're actually going to have them come out and do two other projects for us as well. I will definitely use them again.

Brian and Kelly did fantastic work. He was honest and upfront about the repairs and continued to work them until they met high quality standards. Estimate was received in a timely manner. At the end of each day great care was taken to clean up the work area. Would definitely hire again and recommend to others.

Tim came to our home and quickly and accurately assessed all the projects. He got to work and finished everything in 5.5 hours for a very reasonable price. We have an old home and replacing the kitchen faucet was more complicated than expected.  For example, we didn't have shut off valves under our kitchen sink and Tim had to install them.  He discovered that our hot water tank didn't have a shut off valve either and he installed one for us.  It was great that Tim had the expertise to do all the work that needed to be done.  We weren't expecting his level of expertise in so many areas from a "handyman" service.

Bob is an excellent handyman, very responsive, knowledgable, and professional. When he called, he made an appointment to come over and review the work we wanted. He gave us his initial assessment of the possible causes of the shower leak, and what it would take to assess the cause; and several options as to how to proceed, with potential cost range. We really appreciated his attention to detail, the way he extended himself to save us money, and his frank presentation of pros and cons of various options. We agreed on a date to start repairs. The next day our water heater broke, and we called Bob -- he was able to arrange for someone to assist him, picked up the water heater we selected from the store and installed it the next day. After repairing the shower, he repaired the downstairs bathroom ceiling & the tub insert, and then painted the bathroom. We worked with Bob over the course of three months. He worked around our travel and times when we had houseguests, to complete various projects. He was punctual in appointments, did excellent work, and it has stood the test of time. He will be our first choice for further painting and household repairs.

Contractor was very polite and tried to be clean (although he ended up dumping water from the ceiling in one bathroom, destroying a rug and shower curtain). I honestly feel he didn't realize the duct work had that much water in it. He worked on #1 (replacing toilet and ring) the first day. That evening, the toilet was leaking all over the ceiling below. The next day the contractor re-worked the toilet and started on #3. This ended up being a total disaster. Instead of replacing the two vent pipes, they put in one pipe with a Y, so when one fan is on, it blows into the other. Water continued to come in and because they used metal duct with sections screwed together, the water went all over the insulation and caused water damage on ceilings. Other contractors said the Y would never had been done by a professional and they should have addressed the issue with the possibility of water coming in. One of the ceiling fans was faulty. The vendor would not support it and sent me to the store where it was bought. The contractor never gave me the receipt, so the store would not accept it either. Meanwhile the toilet second repair also leaked all over the ceiling. The third day the contractor reworked the toilet a third time, this time repairing the ceiling below where the leak was obvious by cutting out the sheetrock and replacing it with a new large piece. This ended up hiding the leak which continued after the third try by the contractor. We also had really bad sewer odors in the master bedroom from this toilet (also obvious indication that the leak continued). The contractor blamed the toilet stating I needed to buy a better toilet. This was a top of the line $300 toilet. I talked to the toilet vendor who stated the contractor was most likely not a licensed plumber and did not know what they were doing. At this point it was way over my budget with labor paying this guy to repeat the same repair, so the remainder of the items were removed from the list. In the end, everything that the contractor did has to be re-done because it was the same or worse. Additional insulation was moldy (additional costs), additional ceilings were destroyed with water damage from the faulty work. Repairs will cost twice what I paid. And the CNY Handymans response was to put all of the blame on his subcontractor instead of taking ownership. He refused all responsibility. It was a year later when the ceiling downstairs finally showed the leak (which continued since day 1 to smell). At this point I called them back to come in and fix it on their dime. He refused stating it was outside the warranty even though I had email and phone call records proving that I have been complaining since before the work was done - even months after. I have no idea how this company gets such high marks on Angies List. With the complete incompetency of this company, I can't believe I am the only one with issues like this. I see he replies to many bad reviews stating he tried to work with the customer. In this case he did not want to work with me at all. Summary: Do not hire this contractor for anything more complicated than painting a flat wall. Overall, I ened
