Recent Review: Awesome. Punctual. Professional. Hard working. Honest. Approachable as they let my toddlers watch and see what was going on at times. They had to demo the two walls, of course the floor along the foundation for half the house, install the system, concrete etc. In and out in under 3 days. We just had them over again today because we have another water issue. He found the leak which was the shutoff valve to the spigot above my kid's room. No nonsense, he could have lied and had me get that part of the basement done. Nope, he diagnosed it, looked up the plumber we have used in the past for their number. With parts, call out and labor, I might pay $50. Obviously, he saved us thousands. They take pictures of everything they do. Feel free to show him this review. I bet he will remember my house and show you the work they did, as well as the issue with the spigot.
Recent Review: It went very well from the original meeting with the owner to the finish of the job. The presentation of what work would be performed and what it would cost was very low profile....No pressure to make a decision on the spot. The workers that showed up were respectful and efficient. They did eveything they said they would and left my home as clean as it was when they arrived. I would not hesitate to recomend this company.

Recent Review: We had the bubbler put in because our village requires a bubbler. I had the downspouts and the sump pump go into it. Downspouts are a few but you have to have a sump pump connected to it. We had no problem. We had weather to wait out, but that was with anything that was done outside. I would use them again in the future.
Recent Review: I scheduled the call with the owner, Ryan. He wanted to come that afternoon, but we weren't available. Kevin arrived as scheduled two days later. I was at work, my wife was home. She was thrilled with his courtesy and professionalism. We've found our plumber!
Recent Review: My existing sump pump failed during an unexpected ice storm two years ago, causing water to flood the basement. After seeing the plumbing supply company at a local "home products" show, I decided a water powered back up sump pump was something I should have to prevent a flooded basement in the future. The company sent a sub-contractor to install the product. He arrived late but called before hand to let me know. He said it would take two hours to install but it only took 1-1/2 hours. The work was done neatly and I was given instructions what to expect if the back up sump pump were to go on in the event my primary sump pump failed.
Called Josh from Handy Home Medic because my sump pump just kept constantly running but wouldn't actually drain the water from the well. Once he saw the sump pump he felt something wasn't quite right with it. It wasn't sitting right in the well so he took it out and there was a ton of debris in the base of pump that was blocking the intake. He was able to take the sump apart and clear it all out but there were some rocks stuck in there that completely cracked the bottom of the base. He told me at this point for the amount of water that was filing up in my well in such a short time investing in a new sump pump was the best idea. At this point I was completely fine with that because the sump pump had been there since before I bought my house 6 years ago and my basement does get wet so i'd rather have something reliable. He was able to install a new sump pump, found some huge landscaping rocks in the bottom of the well that the previous house owner was using to hold the old sump steady that shouldn't have been in there and cleared them out and replaced the old, decayed, rubber drainage pipe that carried the water outside of the house. The new sump was super quiet and drained the well super quick. While Josh was there I was complaining about how my basement had been getting wet and I had all these different contractors and plumbers come and look and once I finally decided on a course of action it didn't completely take care of the pooling water in my basement. Upon some inspection he found that the drain that my gutters and my sump drained into was completely back flowing each time water was emptied into it causing it to run down the foundation wall and right back into my basement. He said more than likely the pipe it drains into which was clay was cracked and collapsed from my driveway heaving against it this winter and the previous winters. So he set up a new, temporary drainage system to re-route the water away from my house until the weather is a little better and he can put it in a better spot and since then my basement has been completely dry despite the rain and melting snow. My basement has never been dry since I moved into that house.

ARoy's Plumbing, Heating and Cooling
My phone call to Roy's was greeted with a friendly helpful person. I was able to get an appointment that afternoon as I was off work that day and didn't want to take further time off work. The technician arrived during the scheduled period and evaluated the pipe issues and the sump pump. He explained to me what needed to be done and he thoughts on my sump pump. We further discussed options to replace the sump pump as well as pricing on both activities. I decided to not only have the pipes replaced but to have my sump pump replaced as well. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Roy's is the best!

They did a really nice job. They were very professional. They cleaned up every little bit. I think I paid above what I could have but it was well worth it. After they worked at the house, they called to ask how I felt about the job they did.
