Recent Review: These guys are very professional, well equipped and highly experienced roofers. From the tear off and clean up to the installation of the new roofing shingles 1 was very pleased with the job.
Recent Review: The crew was on time, well organized, and able to adjust their plan quickly when an unexpected obstacle prevented a delivery truck from getting to the house. They were especially good at cleaning up -- including careful search for nails around the house with a magnetic roller
Recent Review: Wow...these guys did 1600 sf of roof in 1 day -- 7 AM start, 6 PM finish. And, if you didn't know we had our roof done, you wouldn't have known anyone had been there at all -- great cleanup. Very impressive work.
Recent Review: I was extremely pleased with the results. There were several small additional things I requested to be done and Mr. Bertrand included them in the original estimate. His team of men were very friendly and willingly did or checked anything I asked of them.
Recent Review: Work was done as promised in the time frame promised. Clean-up could have been better. Still finding the occasional remnant of tar paper, roofing nail, or plastic washers in the lawn and garden. The quality seems fine so far, what else can I say, the roof no longer leaks! Would use them again.
Recent Review: We were surprised that the crew was able to finish the job (working non-stop) in 2 days. The roof looks beautiful. Very pleased with the job and would recommend this company.

The job went ok until we had a leak. Keith came back to look at it and said he would return to fix it. That was a few months ago and since then he hasn't returned numerous phone calls.

Owner was responsive when called for an estimate. Not real professional in appearance but looked and sounded like he'd installed plenty of roofs and I liked his suggestion of doing a rubber roof. It took several calls to get a confirmation that he was going to do the work which was annoying since I was lining up other contractors and they all depended on getting the roof done first. After he finally called back we scheduled the job and he showed up on time. The crew was comprised of approximately ten guys all of whom looked to be in their twenties. Owner was present during the tear off of the old roof and did the installation of bath vents himself. I wasn't a huge fan of the cheap paper hoses that connected the two bath fans to the vent pipes. Also, since I was going to have spray foam insulation installed in a couple of weeks I asked him if he would make sure that the hoses were connected at least 8 inches below the sheathing so the connections wouldn't be buried. However, one of them was connected just a few inches below the roof which was too close. The owner said he had to do it that way because the vent had gotten bent out of shape. (When I was up in the attic a couple weeks later I found that same hose had fallen off leaving our hot, moist bathroom exhaust flowing freely into the attic. And the vent pipe wasn't damaged at all?why lie about that? I reattached both hoses with duct tape?they were just stuck on previously. It took me all of 15 minutes.) He left the site shortly after his ductwork leaving the guys to finish the job only coming back later when they were done. The young guys were all pretty nice and respectable. The job looked pretty good when it was finished. The guys picked up very well after themselves and responded positively when I pointed out things I wanted to be sure were cleaned up. (they even avoided crushing our flower garden!) When the job was over I went up the ladder and all looked fine so I gave the owner a check and they were off. However, a couple of days later I went up on the roof again to have another look. When I was walking around I found a couple of soft spots. This can only mean one thing that I can think of?that there was some rotted sheathing underneath that didn't get replaced. Also, some of the seams didn't look completely fused and it looked a little sloppy overall. I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH RUBBER ROOFS so take that however you will. However, they did a nice, tight job on the asphalt roof.

AABRAHAM LINCOLN ROOFING
The job went exactly as it was explained to me during the first meeting. I had a portion of roof replaced a few years earlier when I bought the house and wish I had spoken with Jason Westfall and Abraham Lincoln roofers for that work as well. The quality, cost, and process were better than expected. My neighbor had a roof installed at the same time and we both were very pleased with the outcome. I did not have to ask any questions about the work beyond the basic tear off and installation. Jason provided a comprehensive estimate, which included everything you would expect in a high quality, professional operation. The crew that completed the tear off and install worked hard to cleanup the jobsite both in between work days at at the end. Bill, the project manager came by the day after the work was completed to provide warranty information, follow up with questions, and make sure I was completely satisfied. Although I will not need another roof installed, I will definitely look to Abraham Lincoln for other work as well. If you are looking for someone to install a new roof, you will not be disappointed with Abraham Lincoln.

This team was professional and polite. They worked continuously until the job was done, and they did it all in one day. This included tearing down 2 layers of asphalt shingles and one layer of cedar shakes, then installing decking and new shingles on pitched roof. Also worked on a flat roof. They were efficient, worked all day with a lunch break, and cleaned up all materials. The price was reasonable and competitive.
