Recent Review: Fantastic...they came when scheduled and completed the job in a timely manner. Cleanup was done as they went along and the grounds looked better when they were finished than when they started. They did a great job and would definitely hire them again!!!,
Recent Review: I was eight months pregnant and my current roof was leaking. Mike Novak put me on a special priority list to make sure that the project was completed before my son was born. I appreciated his help very much.

Recent Review: Very happy with the speed and responsiveness of Ken from Roofman. From the time we first made contact until the job was completed was less than two weeks. Ken gave me an estimate and we signed a contract on a Thursday and the job was completed in one day the following Tuesday. He gave me prices for a metal roof and traditional shingles (which were much less expensive). Rather than giving me a hard sell on the more expensive metal roof, he agreed with my decision to stay with shingles, given the age of the building. There were no surprises or extra charges, so we stayed right on budget.
Recent Review: Larry fit us in last minute, late in the season. As soon as the work was done I knew I had chosen the right guys for the job. Larry's homeboy, Dan, is one of those exceptional people you meet on rare occasions that has as much personality as skill. I love my metal roof more everyday. Larry has a great bunch of guys working with him and that speaks well for him. He is a good listener and was very responsive to my concerns. Gutters came way later ( July) , look good.
While they were unable to help me with a metal roof, they responded almost immediately. Very impressive. Thank you

The salesman explained everything that was going to be done and he and his crew were professional and courteous. The job was completed in a day and a half and everything was cleaned up like they weren't even here. The roof looks great! Due to a huge piece of ice falling and damaging an area of the roof, they came out and repaired it free of charge. We are very happy and pleased with the work they did. I would absolutely recommend them, and may even be giving them a call soon to install new windows in her house.

Crew showed up without parts supplies or even a ladder to reach the roof work area. Attempted to charge several hundred dollars but performed no repairs. Refuses to refund deposit

We made the mistake of going with a low bidder. Hired "Reece and Son" roofers, bought all the materials and gave them 1/3 down. They cashed the check, stripped off 1/4 of the roof and took another job, leaving the barn exposed for a month. Came back, stripped more off and left it exposed for the entire winter while storing their crap in my barn. Came back after many, many calls; did a little more work; asked for more money and then one day packed up and left (barn roof still exposed). DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!! We called Jim at Campany Roof in a panic! He came out, gave us a very reasonable quote and started right away. Showed up with an experienced crew, the right equipment and ended up fixing the other roofers mistakes. Finished the job in 3 weeks (other guy took 4 months!), did great work and followed up every step of the way. I can't recommend them highly enough! Learn from our mistake and stick with a qualified, reliable company like Campany and stay away from the lower priced, cash poor, fly by night outfits. The low bid is not always the best deal.

First, I want to say that I phoned three top rated roofing companies listed on Angie's List asking for quotes and not one called me back. I contacted LaBreck Construction through an ad on Craigslist and they responded immediately, and professionally. (another "company" I contacted responded with "we can DEF b there this weekend".... I passed.) Terry LaBreck came soon after and we received a quote within days. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We have a very old house which needed extra attention to make the roof line appear level. There are also many roof levels, with several peaks & valleys. He and his helpers completed the job within a week. Every night before leaving they made sure that everything was picked up. Terry stayed in constant contact with us about the progress and was able to resolve the minor issues that inevitably came up. I was also pleased to hear how well he treated his workers with several positive comments about their work. And I agree. They all did a great job and I am very pleased with our new roof. I would not hesitate to have them do any work on our home in the future.

ALakeside Kanga Roof
Gene from Lakeside Kanga Roofing came to my house quickly and gave us an estimate that was probably better than we expected, and could do a metal roof for the price. The company was understandably busy in late summer and it was a few weeks longer than they had estimated to get it done, but when they got there, all the work was done in 1/2 a day. We had a very few minor issues with the work, but Gene came by and fixed them (in the dark, still did a great job!) His crew also stopped by and touched up a spot on the roof on my house where water was coming in during previous winters, and Gene inspected the roof to show us what we needed to do to prevent the issue - all at no additional cost! I would absolutely hire this company again.

FReece And Sons
I hired this guy to put a metal roof on my barn - BIG project! His quote was good - about 10% less than the rest. I paid for the materials upfront ($13K), paid 1/3 of his quote for labor. Once the materials showed up, he took another job and I waited for a month for him to start. He started, took a large parts of the old roof off and disappeared for weeks at a time, leaving everything exposed to the elements. He shut down for winter (w/. roof exposed) and stored his crap in my barn, took other jobs in the spring (roof still exposed), finally got back to work. I came home after 3 days and everything was gone! He quit and didn't bother to tell anyone! Just left (roof still exposed)! Does fairly lousy work. Hires untrained kids that he has on the roofs unsupervised and not tied off. He has trouble keeping them, so you're always getting a new group of untrained workers. He's rarely at the job site, so you end up having to watch his crew and point out what needs to be done. I never got an insurance binder, so I'm not sure if he has Insurance. . Now I've got part of a roof done, part still exposed, a small fortune invested in supplies and no warrentee on the stuff already done. Legal options are limited, so I'm stuck Do yourself a favor and DO NOT fall for the cheaper quote and line of BS! I did and I'll be paying the price for quite a while.
