Recent Review: I got the estimate at the end of August, 2009 and because I got a new job and had some other things come up I unable to schedule the work till February, they still honored the original estimate. The workers were punctual, knowledgeable and communicative. The project manager stopped in a few times over the 2 days of the project to check on how things were going and to answer my questions. They suggested additional work, but it seemed to be because I really needed the additional drainage, there was no hard sell to get me to do the additional work. They were willing to re-use my existing sump pump to help me save money on the project. It was a very muddy job and they did the best they could to keep my carpet, front porch, and lawn clean. After they finished they explained everything very well. It wasn't perfect, but no one could have done better. I was very pleased with the whole project.

Recent Review: After removing years of carpeting and cardboard that was laid down from the previous owner of my home, my crawlspace was not only left with a musty smell but it needed to be have a vapor barrier put down. Conti’s Handyman was able to lay 1100 sqft of vapor barrier down on the gravel in my crawlspace and seal everything accordingly. Since he has done this, my crawl space has neither been humid nor musty, and as an added bonus we see no bugs or spiders when we have to head down there. This was the most reasonable estimate I received and everything was done neatly and sealed tightly. All work was also done quickly and properly which was nice to see.

Recent Review: After a home inspection I was told that I needed to remediate a ?black substance? aka mold from the roof of my attic crawl space. The black stain covered most of the plywood and some rafters. I was told it was probably due to poor ventilation. I had less than two months to remediate before closing. This was a first for me so knowing where to begin and who to call was the most difficult decision to make. Not many people talk about mold in their home so finding a contractor was going to be a challenge. I went right to Angieslist and started looking and I came across Enzyme Life Sciences. I read the many reviews and saw pictures from one customer who had the same issue I had. There were before and after pictures of the job performed. I thought if my roof sheathing could look like that I would be happy. So I called and talked to Mike Partlow who understood my problem and he talked me through three part process of cleaning the mold and removing the stain. Mike is out in Albany but has trained contractors throughout the NYS region so being in Buffalo was not an issue. I talked with a few other contractors and some were either booked for the next few months or were on vacation ? (during December). Ultimately, I decided to go with Enzymes Life Sciences and I?m so glad I did. Within a week, Mike sent out a gentleman named Scott who cleansed the mold from the attic. The attic looked clean as promised. Mike also gives a 5 year warranty that is transferrable to the new owners which was very advantageous when adding it to the amended home contract with the buyers. Mike also stuck with me after the job checking in with me to make sure the sale was going through with the cleansing completed. That's one other thing to look for when shopping for a contractor; Mike is there for you and stands behind his work. Finally, the house closed on schedule within a few days of the final inspection. I can?t say enough about Enzyme Life Sciences, if you need to get rid of any mold in your home Mike is your guy.

Recent Review: It went very well. The work was completed and looks great. He also noticed I had a screw missing from the handle on my storm door. He fixed that as well. I would highly recommend this gentleman for any handyman service.

Recent Review: After 6 weeks of calling contractors based on newspaper ads, angies list, referrals, I had a problem getting contractors out and/or getting a quote once they saw the job. My first choice, Joe C of A-1 came out but was unable to provide a quote for the work to be done immediately.  Joe then recommended Chris Lengyel of Lengyel Enterprises. Chris came in one day later, quoted, started the job on Monday and completed it on Wednesday. Both he and his co-workers were fast, clean, quiet, and respectful of my property and myself. I went from being concerned that I wouldn't be able to repair my home before winter to having a first rate job done within one week.  I would recommend Lengyel Enterprises to anyone needing structural work.

Recent Review: I already did.  We found the address in our local free newspaper. He does do insurance work. He does require up-front materials money when he shows up to do the work, and which is negotiable--he has been "burned" before.  . There is only one other man who does this locally, is past retirement age and never returned our phone calls.

When they hit a snag with the water pipe, they went above and beyond to bring in a plumber to install/reroute new pipes. The construction crew (normally 5-6 people) were always so very professional, friendly, and soft spoken. They were like buddies by week's end. In terms of management, I couldn't have asked for more from Mike and Frank. Their price was lower than all competitors (we asked three other companies), and they did more than we asked, AND they offered the best solution. Best of all, they communicated frequently, and were completely honest in responding to all questions. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I ended up going with them because they had done work for me last year. They are excellent and they do a really good job. The owner came to the house and helped the people related to the business. It is a very good company. They are really good so I would recommend them highly. The owner is excellent. He is a hands-on person. He talked to me about the cost and he explained everything. His men are professional. They have been explained on what they have to get done. They are with their electrician today. They all really do a good job. I have been very impressed with them. They know what they are doing. They are a licensed contractor. When I speak to them on the phone they get back to me quickly when I have a question. They don’t call me at work but they call me at home. Out of 10 they are 11. They are really the best company I have worked with, for having serious problems with the house whether it is plumbing or water in my basement or crawlspace or electrical problems. I think their price is fair.
