Reviews in Amherst to Install Outdoor Kitchen
FMya Bella remodeling
Billy was a no-show over and over. Began calling him in August - he didn't return the call. Billy finally responded after the third message. Billy provided an estimate and committed to complete the work in early September. At his request, I bought some materials (tile) for him to use. No show in September, and no call. After tracking him down, he committed to do the work the following week. Again, no show, no call. This was repeated several times. On November 2, Billy told me "come rain or shine, I'll be there on Monday." No show, no call.

Wonderful. Eric was very meticulous, thorough, and responsible. The entire kitchen was gutted. It is amazing what you discover when you have a blank slate. We had black mold behind the dishwasher , trails for the mice to get in behind the sink. It was a mess. Eric made sure it was all done right and up to code, which you don't realize how many code changes there are in 20 years, which is how long in was the last time we did something to the kitchen..We were away for 3 weeks while he took charge of all the other contractors. His partner Jason is also very good. You can trust the two of them to do a fantastic job. We are very happy!!

I have used them twice to snake a line twice, and to help with a frozen water line and replacing the kitchen faucet.

During a conversion from a 2-family to a single-family home, the gas pipe to the dryer in the basement was overlooked and not connected to the gas lines associated with the remaining gas meter. Z&R connected the dryer to the gas line. They also removed a newer kitchen faucet from the 2nd floor kitchen sink and installed it onto the first floor kitchen sink. Additionally, the replaced the water shut-offs on the 2nd floor sink so that I could demo that sink and counter area entirely. They had the work done within a few hours. All of this was done 9 months ago, and I haven't had a single issue since then.

Andrew came out and fixed it in about an hour. Removed all the home-rigged plumbing under the sink as well as the rusting strainer baskets connected to the drain and replaced. Can finally stop looking forward to water streaming into the basement every time the sink is run.

When I placed phone call to make appointment, I left message with secretary. My phone call was returned very quickly by one of their repairmen, Ken. I explained that kitchen faucet was dripping, sink was leaking down basement wall and ceiling directly below the kitchen sink , and there was a buildup of water under kitchen floor tile. He said it sounded like the problem was coming from the wall, where kitchen sink drains were often installed in older homes in my area. He and his partner, Sean, were able to come to my house that same day. He confirmed the problem was a corroded kitchen sink drain in the wall; told me how a new drain would be installed under the sink into the original drain in basement; had me choose the type of faucet to be installed; and gave me the cost of job. In a couple of hours the job was done, with no mess left behind! I am totally happy with the job done, and so glad I found them on Angies List.
Recent Review: We were very impressed with Pete and his crew. I'm only sorry it took me so long to write a review to tell you about the amazing job they did for us! My mom moved into our basement after my dad passed away, but we didn't have a bathroom or kitchen, and in order for her to feel independent and have her own fully-functioning apartment, we needed a bathroom and kitchen in the basement. Pete and his guys were fantastic! They had to create something out of nothing. They had to add plumbing, work with existing crappy electric and do cabinets, floors, the whole nine yards! I have a really big, scary-looking dog, and they had to tolerate her while they were working. She usually loves you once she gets to know you, but she didn't much love the in and out while they carried things through the house, down to the basement. They always took care to pet her and talk to her. One of the guys even nicknamed her "Cuddles" (she's an 80-pound Cane Corso, so she doesn't look very cuddly, but he knew her demeanor was different from her scary appearance). I can't say everything went perfectly, because it didn't. When you're doing a project this size, there will be issues that pop up here and there. What I have to say is, the way these little things were handled were very professional and in a timely manner. I only had to call Pete twice that I can remember, and both times he had someone out here very quickly. Another time, there was an issue with water leaking in my basement. That wasn't Pete's fault, but he came out immediately anyway and cleaned it up for me. He didn't have to do that, but he did and I remain impressed to this day that he did!
Recent Review: The project went very well. Everyone requested was done to specification. There was nothing missed and nothing that had to be redone. Everyone i interacted with was professional and punctual. It was a challenge getting the work completed timely as they had to schedule later than originally intended and it ran over the holidays. But that is secondary to having the work done well and not missing anything. I would recommend and reuse.
Recent Review: Our current work is in progress, but I'll make this an ongoing review; We used KAZ brothers last year to do our siding, some windows and a little drywall. We were happy with their work last year, but of course we still got estimates for this new work. They're a little expensive, but considerably less so than Ivy Lea and their cost seems justified. They have a ton of staff, and bring them in when they need to. They get the details right, and are astoundingly neat for as messy as the work is. If you've ever had work done, you know how drywall dust gets everywhere. There's a tiny bit of drywall dust in other rooms, but really not much at all. We both work full time, and the kids are in and out so the crew is here by themselves most of the time. I trust them with the keys to the castle, and they're astoundingly patient with our pets being here all day to "help". The estimate process was good, and Ray even made some recommendations we hadn't thought of. He suggested moving the stove to a different wall, and changed the whole flow of the room for just the cost of moving the gas line. The time after we accepted their estimate before they were able to start work gave us time to think and rethink our choices. There were a couple of issues at first with scheduling time with the designer, but that was resolved pretty quickly. We're 2 weeks into the project and things are going well. The kitchen was completely gutted, and I hadn't fully prepared the first day. I thought they were just going to rip out the cabinets day 1, Keith and Adam helped me move everything out when they got here in the morning before they started work. There were some delays beyond their control over with electricians, plumbers and inspections, but things are moving quickly now. The kitchen has new drywall fully primed, cement board on the floor and all the cabinets are in the house with a handful of them attached. There is a flaw in 1 of the cabinet doors that I've asked them to take care of, and I have no doubt they will. They haven't started on the bathroom yet, but that was our choice. I asked them to avoid having both the kitchen, and our only full bathroom out of commission at the same time. More as it develops...
Recent Review: My wife and I had much trepidation deciding to remodel our kitchen, with all the horror stories out there. That being said I went straight to Angie's List. Hoping that this would increase our chances of a smooth remodel. That being said, we picked Joel Sullivan. Much to our surprise he had a four month back log. We had him come out anyway. He was punctual, informative and very understanding of what we were taking on. He guided us every step of the process. He was there when he said he would be and performed above and beyond with some plumbing and electrical work. A pure professional!!! Now we know why he has a back log. If you do not choose Joel and his team of craftsmen for your project you are "shooting the dice"! Go with the guarantee! Before I forget, shout out to Derek and Carl! Two talented individuals. I still brag about the plumbing!!
