Recent Review: After I cleared the vines from the block wall, we discovered that the wall had cracked down to the foundation and was unstable. George Chrzanowski, recommended that we tear the wall down and rebuild. Because of problems with the neighbor we were unable to rebuild the wall, however George recommended that we reinforce the wall and then raise the wall two blocks higher. We agreed to go with his suggestion to reinforce the wall with concrete and rebar. The crew arrived on the morning of the 16 Nov 12 and began the process of removing some of the blocks and started the reinforcement of the wall. The crew was very courteous and worked all day to finish the project. They left the area clean and orderly, you would not have known they had been there unless someone pointed out the additional rows of concrete blocks added to the top of the wall.  I would highly recommend the Advanced American Construction company and will be using them again for additional projects around my house. The price was reasonable and the quality of work was superior. George (as a general contractor) is able to perform a wide range of remodeling jobs around the house.

Recent Review: They are a small operation, it was a crew of two that came to work for us. They are known for being a little pricey, however when they are working for you - they work for you. They don't have a cell phone that is constantly ringing and leave to give other quotes. They are punctual and courteous. Every day they clean up the job site before leaving. They are extremely knowledgable.

AAdvanced American Construction Inc.
I interviewed at least 14 contractors before deciding to go with Advanced American Construction. Working in the construction  industry since 1977 until I became disabled in 2007, I knew what I was looking for in a Contractor. I knew what questions to ask. George possess the knowledge and the best crew I have ever seen. Their skills are second to none!  My neighbors look at my wall with awe, I ran out of his business cards.

He agreed to do it - which was great since it would only result in business for him if we actually purchased the property.  And then he did what he said he would, actually a day earlier then promised!..  He called and talk about the wall when he was there, emailed his evaluation and estimate promptly, and was available to answer questions,  he was honest about the need for evaluation by a structural engineer to be more certain of the condition of the wall, but also willing to offer his opinion.  Seemed trustworthy and easy to work with.  (We did not end up buying the property).

Excellent support, and great work! They even gave me some ideas based on previous experience that could save me money, but not detract from quality or appearance. This is defanitely one of the few companies I will use again, and this is about the 5th time I have used them. Nothing bad to say!

The project went very well. They were very professional, gave an estimate that was exactly the cost, completed the work on time and in fact engaged me in a solution to a problem that gave a better overall result. Overall an excellent experience and I would use them again.

The company was great! The workers always showed up on time and worked hard. They completed it in six days, with the crew even showing up on a Saturday to finish everything. They cleaned up any mess they made and were very easy to work with. We couldn't be happier!

Lucus Construction and the contractor Lafe Harrower does fine work and is very responsive to any adjustments that need to be made. He built our high-end home in the time he quoted and it is better than we had expected. He communicates by phone and email and is a perfectionist. He may re-do walls, floors, counter-tops, etc, if they aren't up to his standards. He is a true professional, as is his crew. Our home went up in 6 months, and Lucus Construction was the best choice for us. When we build again, I will be calling Lafe and Lucus Construction.

I had a couple of quotes that were quite a bit higher. He stated it would be done in six months and it was. The workmanship is great. The guys that came in here did beautiful work. He's managed to weed out all the bad workers and he treats his guys well so the good ones hang with him. Also, after the house was long out of warranty I called him about a small leak in the wall. He came out and fixed it free of charge even though the warranty was up. So far it has not leaked since.

Most of the work the builder did was okay However, some of the details were ignored. Workers failed to remember to do certain things, such as turn down the heat when leaving for the weekend. Finish work was not exactly up to par--acceptable, just not what I was used to. Communication with the builder was frustrating--I would leave phone msgs and not get any response. That was the worse part of the entire thing. The builder was obviously working on other projects, and I felt mine was put on the back burner. The work took way longer than it should have, by about a month at least. The builder was pleasant to work with when we were talking. But in the in-between times, getting callbacks was frustrating.

The work went very well.  The workers came to my house two different times. Three workmen came one day to replace the large window. This required some re-framing because the replacement window was a little smaller than the original window , which is no longer available through Marvin.  They also replaced  the glass in the other window, which required taking the window frame apart and then closing up the frame. One workmen did the preliminary caulking in one of the three sections of the house. The three men were exceptionally competent  and capable. They knew what they were doing. They were respectful of my house and of me. They cleaned up as they worked and left nothing for me to remove or dispose of after they left. On the 2nd trip,  Craig Simmons, the contractor, came along with his co-worker Marty, who is a semi-retired architect who had come the 1st time and directed the two others. The two of them came that day to do the outside trim on the large replacement window. It was discovered that some of the siding around  the window needed to be replaced and Mr. Simmons located it in Questa, returned with it and replaced the old siding. It was then stained to match the old siding. Marty also caulked the dry wall in the other two sections of the house  and touched up with the original paint to match all sections of the house. This was done to my satisfaction and looks wonderful. The price that Mr. Simmons gave me for the work was very fair, extremely so, and I could not be more pleased. I would recommend Eco Builders without hesitation to anyone wanting a professional job done for a fair price.
