They arrived on time, took care to protect my belongings, got right to work and did a good job. Took the time to answer all of my questions and cleaned up thoroughly. Very professional, quick work. Thanks Jared and Clint.

Horrible. Two months late and unfinished. Though the fireplace draws well, it is also not at all what we agreed to in terms of design and huge! It is much bigger than the previous fireplace and dwarfs our living room. Not at all what we agreed to.

We recently had a gas fireplace installed. We purchase it from Dreamstyle Remodeling in Albuquerque, NM. The installation was not an easy task but the team sent out managed the order nicely. Jared, Clint, and Paul did an excellent job setting up their work area, installing the fireplace, and cleaning up after. I would recommend this team to all. Thank you for for your hard work!

I purchased a wood stove insert (with installation) from Shawn's Chimney Sweep and finally, 7 and a half months later, with much work on my part, it is done.   They were expensive, but I thought it was worth the cost to have a "professional" installation.  I was very wrong. It took 2 months for them to come install the stove after payment, and (after arriving 2 hours late) they did a very poor job on the installation.  I had to take the stove apart and re-install the blower mounting plate and side panels because they were not attached correctly and made a horrible noise when the blower turned on.  Secondly, the stove was not anywhere close to level.  Third, they didn't bother following the instructions to move the power cord to the side where there was an electrical outlet, leaving the stove useless, so I had to do that as well.  Finally, they did not follow the installation instructions to "seal either the damper area around the chimney liner or the insert surround", so I could see daylight at the top of the chimney.  I had to buy some high-temperature batting to temporarily seal the chimney off and prevent drafts.  Note that "temporarily" here turned into "all winter". They said that the surround was damaged in shipping and that they had to order another one.  Every month, I would call to check when they would finish the job by installing a replacement, and every time the answer was "next week". Finally, 5 and a half months after the installation, they came out to install the replacement surround.  Again, they left the side panels incorrectly attached so they rattled when the blower ran.  They also "leveled" the stove, which meant shimming the front and leaving one of the feet in the back floating free (so the stove is only supported at 3 points and can easily be tilted backwards into the fireplace).  And again, they did no sealing of the damper area or the surround; I can still see daylight at the top of the chimney.   I will be fixing these problems myself because I have no desire for them to return and create more work for me.  Avoid them at all costs for installation services unless you enjoy re-doing most of what you paid them to do.

This job went really well from start to finish.  If I ever need their service again I would rehire them.  They responded to my phone calls within ten minutes most of the time and always answered my questions in a way that I could understand.  The entire work crew was very professional and did an outstanding job.

First, it took forever for someone to call me back to come to my house and get an estimate. I even called numerous times with no returned call. When the provider called back he came to the house and checked out the back door. He was very friendly and really took a good look. He said that he would be calling the next day with the estimate, I did not hear from him, I had to call and get the information. I continued to call to get the appointment set up and recieved no calls back. After the Owner saw this review he called quickly to remedy the situation. I was happy to hear from him and his wanting to get this job done. I hope that the job is able to get done soon and I can change this rating. I think that lack of communication on their part was the frustrating part. As soon as the job is complete and communication is improved I would gladly fix this rating. ****Updated 1-6-14 The door was finally replaced the beginning of December! It looks great and works even better. The worker who put it in was very friendly and did a great job. We are still waiting on the screen to the door though. We are still waiting to hear about the gas fireplace and an estimate. Overall, we were happy with the end result, the door is in and looks great. But the amount of time it took to finally get this job complete was a drawback.

Cleaning was done from inside the house and he did a good job putting down covers to protect the floor.  There was no mess or residue inside of the house.

Filipe and Art brought the estimate and went over each item line by line so we could understand where our dollars were being spent and they were very professional, just like their company name! We were so impressed by their presentation we decided to get the work done right away. The first item was to measure and order all the replacement windows, since they would take a few weeks to get in. Then they started with moving our pellet stove to a new location more central in the house, with a floor-to-ceiling stacked-stone wall behind it. Then the gas-fired kiva fireplace went in--what a process! First, an aluminum cage was built off-site, then the installers fitted it to the space. The next step was the scratch coat, which was put on by another craftsman. Once that was dry, Cruz came back to put the finish coat of Venetian plaster on. What an artisan! There were also some cases where floor tile had to be patched into areas which had been exposed from the demo process, and Vince did a beautiful job of repairing those areas with tile that had been salvaged from the demo.     We went up to Albuquerque to pick out our granite, but again, Felipe had done a wonderful job of choosing exactly what we wanted, and we found two slabs of granite that would be perfect in our kitchen. Moises came and did the template and listened to us when we explained the way we wanted the seam to match up.     Matt was the cabinet maker who did the cabinet doors and what  a beautiful job! He also did the bathroom cabinet which had to be made especially for our space.     As a second thought, we had solar tubes installed in the kitchen and the change orders were handled effortlessly by Art, and didn't hold up any of the other work. We also decided to have the rest of the area painted and the crew did a beautiful job and completed the work much faster than we could have.     By this time, the windows were ready to go in and the crew got them all installed in one day with all of them fitting perfectly and looking beautiful. We also started realizing the immediate savings on our heating costs, and NO drafts!     The master bath was the last on the list and probably was the most involved. The tile work is beautiful, and the new frameless glass door is so easy to keep clean, I love it. It's amazing how much larger the bathroom seems, even though it's in the same space.     I highly reccommend Professional Contracting to anyone who is considering a remodel, a new build, or tile work, or just painting. They are superb and certainly live up to their name!

He was really good. The person that I recommend is Al Gore, and I was very impressed with both of them. One of them was a younger man, and he had it together. I think he was learning the trade, but he was doing extremely well. Al is an older man, I think he said he was 65, and he was very active, and they did the job, and they fixed the light plug as well for me. They can do just about anything. I bought the plug, and he put it in. I thought that I didn't know about him doing electrical work, and I didn't know if he needed a license or not, but I cleared it all and they were good to go. I have stuck their card on the side of my refrigerator, and if I had an emergency, I would call him in a minute.
