Recent Review: Dennis responded quickly to my initial call, came to the house to inspect the leaking faucet. He tried to repair the existing faucet, but that was not possible. He recommended and acquired the replacement faucet since it was not available through any retail outlets. He recommended an under-sink water filter which I purchased. Dennis called me as soon as he had the new faucet and we set uop a time for him to install it. He arrived at the appointed time and completed the work within an hour. I am very pleased with the new faucet and will continue to use Manzano Plumbing because of its great reliability.

Recent Review: The first trip, after I had tried to light the pilot on the water heater 4 times, the wife called and they sent some one who arrived within 15 minutes. I told him of my attempts and he went right in and had it working in a couple of minutes, making me feel pretty silly. Oh well. Cost $76. We had a leaking kitchen faucet and called about installation of a new one. Lance recommended Ferguson Supply for the faucet. We purchased the new faucet (Delta) and Underwood did the installation the next morning. Lance said they were pretty booked up but would squeeze us in around noon. they arrived around 11am and went to work on the installation. As there were two plumbers we had them check out a couple of leaks we had. They replaced the drain piping in the downstairs bathroom sink and then made sure the connections were tight on the upstairs toilet. They replaced the float valve from the old ball float valve which was leaking. This was all accomplished in around an hour. As they did not leaved us a bill, we contacted the office where Lance told us he would mail us the bill. As this is a vacation home, we told him that since all mail was sent home and did not receive mail in Ruidoso that we would come by and pay. We usually find that any type of general repair services are expensive here. When my wife went by to pay the bill while out doing errands, she was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the bill. We expected a bill over $300 and it was half that, including the parts that were used. Our next project of replacing the water heater will be done by them. They were very friendly and efficient. I was surprised in how fast they got the work done. It was $120 for the hour for both plumbers and the rest was parts and sales tax.

Recent Review: The kitchen faucet became difficult to swing from right sink to left and vice versa, then became stuck. Fulkerson's serviceman, Aaron, came and found the problem was a distorted and jammed o-ring. He disassembled the faucet completely, located the problem, replaced the defective part, and reassembled the faucet. He fixed the problem. On our call about the faucet problem we also told Fulkerson's about our reverse osmosis system problem. The reverse osmosis system was not working correctly, as the water was still not meeting testing requirements for filtered water. On a separate call Russ came and verified the reverse osmosis connections were correct and changed out the filters and the membrane. The system works now. In fact, previously the ice cubes made from the water were cloudy, and now they are mostly clear. All of the people at Fulkerson's are friendly and professional. That is, the people in the office who answer the phone, schedule the service, and all of the people on the service calls are good to work with. If there is urgency to the need, they respond. If not, they plan a time that is convenient to you. The reputation here is that Fulkerson's may charge a little more, but they are the best. We didn't think the price was too high, though, and feel that the quality of the service and the price are appropriate. Aaron worked on the faucet for about three hours, taking it completely apart and replacing the bad part before reassembling the faucet. We were thinking a new faucet would be required, at greater expense. Russ with his helper worked almost two hours. Neither service call left a mess in our kitchen, for they cleaned up any water that dripped on th floor or under the sink with towels they had brought for that purpose. We wholheartedly recommend Fulkerson's. It is our second time to use them. The first time was six years prior (2006) and before we were adding our comments to Angie's List. That time our problem was a clogged drain, and they fixed that quickly and professionally and for a reasonable price, too. That is why we called Fulkerson's again for this job.

I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for $79 for installing a kitchen faucet.  Mr. Finch, the owner, contacted me by phone and set up a date and time mutually agreeable.  My husband and I had purchased the faucet for my 92 year old father, and the installation was the other half of the Xmas gift.   Mr. Finch, who had another customer with an emergency situation, sent his workers to this other job site, and came himself to install the faucet rather than reschedule the job.  He knew that my husband and I had made a special trip to Belen from Albuquerque.  We much appreciated him keeping the original appointment, so that we wouldn't have to make another trip to Belen to get the faucet installed.  The old faucet had been in place for almost 20 years and required a great deal of persuasion to come out.  He took the time to clean away the hard water scale on the sink in the faucet area before he installed the new one.  We found Mr. Finch professional, cheerful and very approachable.   Before he left he made sure we had the warranty card and understood the procedure for contacting Moen, should my Dad have any future problems.  He also made sure we knew that we had to keep an eye on the old angle valves, because the old valves sometimes leak after they have been disturbed to install a new faucet.  Dad had no leaks.   Overall, a pleasant experience.
