The professionalism of IPM was excellent. Arrived on time everyday. Did exactly what was expected and finished on time. Quality service and professional. I would like to commend John for going the extra mile and doing all the little extras that make our new kitchen awesome. THANK YOU IPM!!

DGEM Construction
Neal was 2 weeks late starting the job, raised the price significantly after the contract was signed, and still has not finished the job almost 3 months later. This is partly due to supplier issues (Home Depot), but also due to Neal's laid back attitude. He has my money, but I don't have a finished job. If you hire him, do not pay him the full amount until the job is COMPLETELY DONE. I made that mistake and now need to hire another contractor to finish his work. Very disappointed.

AAlkema Construction
Alkema Construction was a joy to work with from beginning to end. He was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and timely. I felt very comfortable having him work in my home and he was really good about explaining the work along the way. The bathroom turned out beautifully! He is amazing at tile work!

It was a great experience. The contractor gave us a good quote and there were no surprises. The work was completed in a timely manner without the job dragging on. If I had questions, I was given answers immediately.

The first day, demolition day, they had all the old stuff out, and a new window in place.  Second day, tile began going up in the shower/tub area.  My wife wanted a niche built into the wall, and that was framed and most of that tile was in place.  Up graded plumbing was roughed in.  Third day, shower/tub area tile completed, including inside the niche.  New, custom made cabinet/vanity was installed.  Finishing touches on the shower/tub tile including grouting.  Floor tile was installed and grouted.  walls and ceiling painted.  New light fixture installed.  Fourth day, light fixture had to be relocated along with an electrical outlet.  Vince did this and patched the wall and did touch up painting.  Vince did an excellent job and we couldn't tell there had ever been holes in the wall, even though we knew they had been.  Vince also did the painting, and even patched and textured places in the kitchen that were in need of cosmetic help due to water leaks!  Did an excellent job and didn't even charge us for this work.  The new tub suffered a chip (probably from falling tile) and they are taking care of that.   Everyone involved went out of their way to insure that we had exactly what we wanted.  My wife is extremely happy with the way the whole job turned out.  Art was very accommodating and understanding and always responded in a very professional and quick manner.  Laura in the office made sure communications were passed along without delay.

they estimated the amount of time to convert the room would only take 4 days but it turned into 3 weeks- that was also because we were not around to provide needed decisions. Duane is very friendly, professional, and trustworthy. Love supporting local businesses!!

ADch Builders
Put a new floorboad and then vinyl floor in. All new items in bathroom. Happy with job, but forgot a few small detail items. I had him reseal tub again since a few spots weren't sealed enough. He happily fixed before leaving. After he left I noticed the door on the bathroom he forgot to put in all the screws, so I had to go buy some new screws for the door.

Kitchen and Bath Remodeling in Farmington

Award 2019Super Service Award
Recent Review: Excellent job, workers were on time and did a fantastic job in a timely manner. I would hire them again the next time I had a construction project to do in our home.
Recent Review: Great. Babcock Construction is a firm founded on Customer Satisfaction and Integrity. Our Summer 2017 project was to completely redo the kitchen, the masterbath and guest bathroom. The project included adding new big windows and doors, reworking and reframing. After reading the “all too good” reviews for Babcock on Angies List – we gave them a call. We had 4 bids and not the lowest, yet the most promising was Babcock. The workmanship, dedication, quality first and consistent flow of the work got us an early finish on an already aggressive schedule. Every day a consistent crew was here, working a full day and following project plans and talking with us about the ideas, work and suggestions when those oddities of a house came forth! There are 2 things to mention, first the crew. Quality all the way. Talented, interested and engaged in our ideas. Richard, Joe and Steve were always on top of each step. Honest dialogue and finding a positive solution together made this special and so much less stressful. Babcock Construction has a solid recommendation from us.

Recent Review: I first employed Chuck 17 years ago for a major house remodel and expansion. That project went well and was completed on time. I have since hired Chuck for many other projects and have recommended him to others. He will also be doing another renovation for me this October 2017
Recent Review: Crowdsourcing site for interior and architectural design. Interesting service and if you are comfortable with internet shopping and a little risk, IMHO, worth the cost.  My project:   Redesigning kitchen and family room (great room concept) and we needed interior design/style advise for the project. The site posts a "competition" for the project, you determine what amount of money to offer for the competition (site recommends an amount, but the customer is free to change if needed.) Within 20 days, we had 20 designers signed up for our competition from all over the world. In the end, 8 designers submitted designs. We picked our top 4, rated all designs and the top three were selected based on ratings -- one from France, USA and Serbia. Honorable Mention went to country of Georgia. First, second and third place received a portion of the award money.   Pros and Cons:  You, the customer, must be comfortable with the risk of paying for something and not knowing if you'll like the result. For me, this was part of the process and an acceptable risk.  You don't have a face to face consultation. The site has a "wall" where you can post ideas, photos, communication with the designers or architects. I resolved this by posting my design book on the wall to give designers ideas of our likes, dislikes, etc. You can also post requirements and constraints for your project. Toward the end of the competition (a deadline is set when you submit a project) a lot of communication occurs with the architects and designers. Expect it, it's part of the process.  The website is fairly rudimentary. Online/chat help is available but is somewhat hit and miss.  You can send designs to friends and family to rate. This is helpful in making a decision.  Overall, we got a number of ideas between the designers and were very pleased with the process and project.
Recent Review: Plasco has a great product. And now that it is done, we are very pleased with it. It just took longer than we expected. They told us two weeks, and it took two months. But product is very nice. Chris is a big help.
