Recent Review: We had to reschedule the demolition because they didn't have enough men or the right tools but it was rescheduled for the next day. They took great care to move the hot tub without damaging it and cleared up all the debris from the decks. Their credit card swiper wasn't working and I had to pay with cash. They were unable to provide a receipt, which I would still like to have, but all in all, they did a great job. I've already recommended them to one of my neighbors.

Recent Review: $99 Deal Coupon. Was easy to buy & then called the phone at 7 am on Tuesday. He answered immediately, professional and quick. Took my info, said he'd come next day between 8-8:30 am. Next morning 8am he rang doorbell. 8:02 I showed him the 7 cubic yard pile of trash we'd emptied from our garage the night before, into driveway. Took him 10 min to load it into his giant Isuzu truck. My husband estimated that we had piled up excess of the Deal offer of 7 CY. But Tony said it was ok cause most was recyclables (appliance boxes & packing). At 8:12 he rang doorbell "all done, want to see?" Perfectly clean where pile had been. 8:14 he drove all that clutter away. 24-7 Haul was the easy part. The night before it took my husband & I four hours to extract the clutter from garage. Once we'd made the appointment we HAD to do this task we'd been saying "we must do" for 4 years! Will hire again.

Recent Review: David removed my old tub and stripped everything in the area down to the studs. Once the demolition was completed he installed a new shower and tiled the walls from floor to ceiling. My shower is gorgeous! I'm having him come back next week to replace my old tub and plastic surround with a new soaker tub and tile.

Recent Review: Our home was for sale, the buyer wanted trees removed which had died. We called Greg as he does great work, arrives on time, never late and always right on the money when it comes to timeliness and his estimate to get the work done. He is honest and kind as well. The tree closest to the house was a bit more work than he anticipated. But he completed the job and did not charge an additional amount of money. For that we are appreciative and consider him an honest person. He cleaned up the branches, hauled the dead trees off for us. Would recommend him and use him again!

Recent Review: It took a long time. That was frustrating. But, there was a lot of work to do. Over the course of the work, they pulled out massive amounts of demolition debris, carpet, and rock. There were long periods of time when it was hard to imagine that it would ever be done. But, it continually moved forward, and every week the progress was visible, and more often than not, amazing. It was not possible for me to completely envision the end product, and I worried about it a lot. The stairs project turned out to be the hardest, since code regulations ended up forcing them to be much larger than we at first believed. Note that prior to Justin making his initial estimate, two other contractors had already estimated what would need to be done here, and they both underestimated the final size even more. This involved a lot of revision of the project, and did increase the cost, due to unexpected rerouting of plumbing and gas, and ultimately, caused me to make the decision to redo the floors. Despite the unexpected pain of these changes, Justin helped us through, and performed the changes admirably, and ended up with a final product that now feels like we lost nothing in the process, but gained beautiful improvements. Through it all, Justin and his partner Tim we professional, courteous, communicative, and in many ways went our of their way to improve upon the initial plans that I had made. Where another person might have simply cut the easy corners, Justin saw to it that the job was done better than planned. This included demolition and removal of unexpected and quot;outcropsand quot; of granite and basalt that previous builders had simply built around. Furthermore, one of the most impressive things that I saw Justin do was pull in other subcontractors that were highly qualified and professional as well. In this, Justin was like my own personal Angie's List, because he saw to it that the other work done, from the plumbing/electrical, the flooring, and even the repairing/resetting of the carpet after all the other work was done, was the highest quality. It was clear that Justin's skills are extensive, but he will not hesitate to have work that is not in his area performed by the best available people. I cannot understate this seemingly small effort too much -- how many times have you had work done by someone who was less than skilled in a particular part of that work, and yet did it themselves and turned in a substandard job anyway, rather than either tell you that they could not, or get someone who was capable to do it. What Justin did was to see to it that every aspect of the work was done the best it could be, by pulling in the best possible people for the job, which for the main work of course included himself. Justin also took initiative in much of the remodel process, added improvements that I never even considered. From the countertop in the kitchen, to the improvements to the bathroom design, up to his last day on the job, when he handcrafted a complex and continuous stair railing, he took the extra steps to make the end result better. When they were done, they cleared up the place so that areas that only a week before were massive piles of debris to areas that left little evidence that they had been there. We are very happy with the new bathroom, and everything in it has turned out as good or in several instances better than we could have hoped. The new staircase is beautiful, and the new oak wood floor is outstanding.

This company was highly recommended from a close friend so I decided to have them do some work that I had been wanting to get done for awhile. I have to say I was very happy with the whole process. They built a large coyote fence approximately 20' x 30' and it came out very well. I had lots of yard work that needed to be done such as removing a great deal of leaves and branches, cutting down a dead trees and spraying my healthy trees for bugs. They left my yard looking beautiful! I really got alot for my money. I would definately recommend this company. I have hired some people in the past and they were not very reliable. A+ in my book!

AHandyman Service
The project George worked on is a house my mother-in-law rents in the Nob Hill area. I manage the house but live near Alamogordo so taking care of it is a problem. Both times that I've made use of George's services, he has inspected the property to assess for cost and time, has made helpful suggestions and pointed out things that needed attention which I was missing, done the work as we discussed and completed the work in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. I come to ABQ when work is completed to inspect and pay. On this last project he painted all window and door trim, painted and re-striped window awnings, trimmed hedges and hauled debris to dump, rebuilt a deteriorating window ledge,re-coated it and re-painted, and removed some outside storage cabinets, patched holes in stucco where cabs were attached and re-pained areas exposed by the removal of those cabinets. He also checked roof for any problems and did repair on small break in roof coating.

I give George 5 stars for the work he did for me. He appraised the jobs quickly, pointing out need repairs that I had not seen, giving an fair and reasonable price for the work to be done, then getting all the work done in a rapid and efficient manner. I have had a diificult time finding someone to do work on a house that I cannot take care of due to health problems. George is intelligent, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough in his work and fair in his pricing. He definitely will get more jobs from me. Michael Taylor

BMontoya Landscaping & Maintenance
Hard working, great results.  Quote for 3 days work was provided at $2,600.  After work was complete I was presented a bill for $5,200, which included $800 for materials.  Small crew worked approximately 64 hours, which equates to >$40/hr @ $2,600.  I provided an additional $700 for materials for a total of $3,300.  Leroy required cash, markup on materials was high.  Recommendation to both Leroy and clients:  clarify details of work to be performed at onset, and whether materials are included in estimate.  Agree to negotiate additional costs in advance of performance.
